The Akrapovic Slip-On Exhaust with Hexagonal Muffler features:
  • Hexagonal-shaped can with your choice of carbon-fiber or titanium outer sleeve
  • Hexagonal mufflers feature a carbon-fiber outlet cap to match the design of each bike
  • Outlet cap, perforated inner sleeve and inlet cap are all made of titanium
  • Joint of the inlet cap is milled on a state-of-the-art CNC machine and connected by high-quality silicon-shielded tempered springs
  • Includes a lightweight, compact and high-temperature-resistant carbon-fiber muffler clamp
  • Conical or cylindrical link pipe is made of stainless steel or titanium; shape is determined on the basis of tests of the connection of the link pipe with the muffler to obtain maximum performance increase
  • Carbon-fiber heat shield included, if called for in the design

Andy Tacoma,  WA Awesome sound! This muffler has deep growl at idle that turns to a bark when I burp the throttle on downshifts and sounds great through the whole RPM range. It doesn't have the raspy snarl some mufflers do. Seems to be about 20% louder than the stock muffler it replaced and it looks a ton better on my '06 FZ1. Highly recommend this item.
