Dick Schroon Lake,  NY VHR SS2-R on Honda 1994 CBR1000F This exhaust is a nice one to replace your old rusty pipes. That is, as long as you can find one. I have the impression that these pipes are end of life - so get one if you can! Fit: 4/5; to remove and install the new pipes takes about 3 hours. We had to 'modify' the link pipe (as in a bang with a hammer) because the inside of the can was slightly oval shaped. But that was all really. Finish: 5/5; It looks awesome. Need I say more? Durability: It is NOT a stainless steel pipe, so I guess it will last at least as long as stock. Let's say 14 years. Features: 4/5; It comes with all the tools you need (like a spring puller). Too bad I had to figure out the meaning of some plate (guess it was for the center stand). We installed it and well... it still fits :) It would be a great idea to include gaskets as well. If you buy one, do yourself a favour and get these! After 10 years+ the original gaskets are not of much use. Note that the SS2-R for the Honda CBR 1000F is a 4-2-1 system, and not a 4-1 as (often) advertised. All in all, I live in Europe and installed the SS2-R on my bike. Make no mistake this IS a loud pipe considering EC regulations. Quiet baffles (like the QuietechIII) are NO LONGER available. I will have to fabricate a dB killer and stay away from German roads :) But I can live with that.

Brian Hurst,  TX Awesome Deal!! This Vance and Hines exhaust system from header back is the cheapest and best modification you can make to your Katana! The sound of the bike and the looks are 10 times better than the stock honda civic looking crap that was on there. It took about 30 minutes to completely remove and install the entire system with hand tools. Easy easy for anyone to do. The bike will require some slight re-jetting so it won’t go lean on you at highway speeds. Great purchase!!!!!]

kevin glen burnie,  British Co vance and hines ss2r exhaust For starters this is a very nice exhaust for the price. It was not as easy to install as other pipes I have installed in the past, because the second down pipe off of the header was tweaked a little. Once I got that taken care of it was a piece of cake. Overall I love the pipe it sounds and looks great. As I said you can’t beat the ss2r's looks or performance for the price. (installed on a 2001 zx7r)
