I bought my GSXR600 used this past summer with the exhaust already installed so i can't say anything about the installation..
but what i do know is that it looks great and it's loud and people can hear me coming which is a good thing knowing that cars can hear me. people at my house can hear me coming from about a mile away!

AWESOME!!!!
I installed the megaphone on my K7 600, LOVE IT!!!! This slip on removed my under body canister which I hated anyway. Dropped a bunch of un-needed weight. Sounds amazing, makes my buddies ears ring when we're riding. Gets looks everywhere and turns heads.

Great exhaust for the price!!!
I installed my exhaust in April of this year, I didn't want to write a review with only a couple of days with riding it on. Installation took about 15 minutes, once completed the sound was awesome. My wife could hear me coming and I was all the way around the corner. You lose a little bit of power in the lower range but, you gain in safety. In San Diego I care more about a car hearing me than lower range power. I recommend this exhaust and buy it from Motorcycle Superstore, it arrives on time and without problems.

pretty good exhaust
The pipe is real easy to install. Sounds good, but you do have to get a power commander. I installed my power commander and now there are no more problems with my '08 gsxr 600 starving for gas. Overall the pipe has a good sound, loud but good. Just be prepared to loss power off the line unless you get a power commander and put it on the dyno to map it our just right.

For The Price
To make it simple, the slash cut exhaust is a good buy for the price. I didn't purchase it for performance, but i did for the look. Plus, it's loud enough for other drivers to hear me when i near so it serves a good purpose. For anyone thinking on buying, it's a safe investment.

The Megaphone tips look nice on the bike especially if you want to save money. With that said performance gains are not felt, but the sound was great. Little on the loud side so if you like loud and good looks, but not worried about performance gains this setup is excellent. Install was a breeze and took all but 10minutes mostly due to removing the hideous factory pipes.

It fit great and installed in 10min.
Sounds louder than stock, but can get high pitched like and annoying. I lost a considerable amount of power on the low end. Haven't installed the Power Commander yet so i don't know if that will re-adjust my power band to normal or better yet greater performance. Most likely i will do the power commander and still purchase a full exhaust as i had originally planned. I think this pipe is just a temporary upgrade over stock.

Just Installed!!!
The muffler sounds greaaaat!!! Just installed today and took bout 15-20 min! Seems like it adds a little more hp but gotta get a power commander to re-mapp my bike! But thanks Motorcycle Superstore!

If you like loud great but if you like performance find something else
At first I was excited for the sound of the pipes but even with the addition of a power commander the loss in performance was too much for me to accept. For my money, spend the extra $100 or so and get the Yoshimura TRC Carbon Single.
The megaphones keep the cat on the bike which is much heavier than you think. The loss in back pressure is the main reason. Also the pipes look nice in the picture but the quality was pretty lame. Looked like something a kid in high school shop class would do for extra credit. Nothing wrong with that I guess. Do your homework and get the pipes you want.

Way Louder than it was projected to be.
It is a bit raspy but once your doing about 70 strong on the road, at an even pace it sounds great.
This thing grabs that attention of unaware drivers.
Don't go home at night. Way to loud for neighborhoods!!!!

Great pipe
Its a great pipe easy to install. Took me 17 min tops. You will need to remap bike for optimal performance. I lost a lot of bottom end, buy a commander it will correct it. The sound is worth the loss in low end torque in my opinion.

Hot bodies--Slash Cut exhaust
The exhaust is a nice add on to my GSXR1K. It sounds great, is alot lighter than the stock pipe, and looks awesome. The install process was somewhat complicated however. I recommend having a professional install this item or have one present while installing it like I did; just so happens my friend is a certified Suzuki mechanic...which was a tremendous help. This bike from the factory has an instrument that helps back pressure, which is mounted to the OEM pipe. This needs to be removed and a wire cut on the ECU in order for this to be installed correctly; which requires lifting the gas tank. Instructions would have been nice for me, but will be mandatory for anyone without the help of a pro. On another note, the customer service of this website was the BEST I have ever dealt with in purchasing anything online. So, with that said, HURRY UP AND BUY!!!

I just put it on and there is a difference in sound but not much because of the catalytic converter. Performance wise, its the same no added horses no taken horses. For being a cheap pipe its good.
