Product Description
Two Brothers Racing V.A.L.E. M-2 Slip-On Exhaust

M-2 Slip-On from Two Brothers Racing featuring the V.A.L.E. System which eliminates the need for springs, resulting in a more secure mounting. Allows the muffler assembly to be positioned perfectly on the bike before all the mounting hardware is fully tightened. After perfectly aligned, the V.A.L.E. assembly locks the muffler canister to the exhaust tube assuring a perfect, leak-free fit

The M-2 Slip-On exhaust canisters feature the highest level of quality construction and are designed to be fully serviceable in the event of damage, routine maintenance or the occasional repack. Two Brothers Racing’s M series spring-mounted slip-on canisters all feature patented and exclusive lightweight thinwall die cast aluminum one-piece inlets. The exhaust note produced by all Two Brothers Top Level exhaust systems is best described as being deep and throaty without suffering from the shrill whine normally associated with other manufacturer’s straight through muffler canisters.

The slip-on type of system replaces your existing “s-bend” pipe and exhaust canister. Two Brothers s-bends are manufactured from .035” thinwall stainless steel. They then polish them to a mirror finish. They use only #304 stainless which will never rust.

Features:
  • Small, vertical, oval canister (4.85”H x 3.75”W) is available with an aluminum high-polish finish, black carbon fiber (filament wound) or natural titanium matte-grey color
  • 2.25” stainless steel, power core
  • Packing consists of a first stage (stainless steel wool) and a second stage (high-temperature fiberglass)
  • Comes with a billet, anodized, aluminum-inlet endcap
  • Teflon coated, die-cast, magnesium-outlet endcap
Polished Aluminum
  • Aluminum is a lightweight and strong material used extensively in the aerospace, automotive, and of course, motorcycle industries. Aluminum is a wise choice due to its excellent strength to weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and clean look. We use lightweight thin-wall .060” extruded 6061 aluminum alloy that is heat treated to a T-6 condition for increased strength, durability, hardness, and finish hold. After the aluminum has been heat treated, it is cut to length and given a mirror polished finish. Ounce for ounce, aluminum is the best value of all the M and C series mufflers. As a rule the aluminum mufflers weigh about 8.3oz. more than Titanium or Carbon Fiber mufflers.
Carbon Fiber
  • Two Brothers has been using Carbon Fiber in motorcycle mufflers since 1992. They are currently the only US Company to exclusively use Filament Wound Carbon Fiber (FWCF) on every carbon fiber muffler they sell. They draw on only the best high temperature resins, and control a proprietary lining system adopted from spacecraft, for additional heat resistance. The FWCF is continuously wound over a precision machined mandrel for a 100% seamless bond. The FWCF tube is then cured in a high temperature autoclave oven for superior strength and heat resistance. These crucial elements meld to form a precision lightweight muffler that will perform as well as it looks.
Titanium
  • By weight titanium is one of the world’s strongest readily available metals, making it ideal for the M series mufflers. It is 45% lighter than steel with comparable strength, and twice as strong as aluminum while being only 60% heavier. That’s right, titanium is HEAVIER than aluminum, but since it is twice as strong they are able to use very thin (.024”) material to construct the Titanium muffler. The result is a muffler that is about 8.30z lighter than the M or C series aluminum mufflers. Titanium has become an industry standard for motorcycle mufflers due to its durability, corrosion resistance, light weight, and factory look.

  • **Note: VFR800fi slip-on features the P1 Power Tip, a straight-through sound diffuser that quiets the pipe by 2 to 3 dB while actually adding measurable HP gains at the top of the powerband.

Manuel G Santa Cruz,  CA Nice loud exhaust I bought this to replace the stock exhaust on my 08' Ninja 250 and wow. Its pretty loud now. I didn't expect it to be so loud, but I like the sounds though. One thing, I didn't wear earplugs before this, but with this exhaust I definitely am now, its super loud. Kinda pricey, but I think well worth it. I spend a little more for the carbon fiber one, it looks better than the other two and it doesn't get hot. I should know, I once burned my leg on the aluminum stock exhaust when I first got the bike.

Kris Haddonfield,  NJ Two Brothers Slip On for 09 Cbr 600rr (Carbon Fiber) I have been riding for about a month with a Two Brothers Carbon Fiber Slip On and it seems to sound better every time I get on it. The quality alone for the exhaust was perfect and the weight is great. I recommend getting the Fender Eliminator kit made by Two Brothers for the slip on. I ride a lot and two guys with me, one with a 09 cbr stock can’t even hear his riding with me and the other with a 750 Gsxr with a yoshi pipe is jealous of the pipe. I would choose this pipe for any future pipe as well.

Pep granville,  IL Two Brothers pipe for 08-09 250 Ninja Overall I rate this pipe a 4 out of 5. The two plastic grommet things that came with for the install seemed to not fit properly so I just used one of the stock rubber pieces, which was fine. I wish this would have come with a silence because it's rather loud on a 250, but that's just my taste. The bike is now sold but I hope to buy another 2 bros pipe for my 600rr. I have heard those in person and they sound amazing!

Scott Chatham,  NJ New Pipe I love the added horse power and sound this slip on produces! The diameter of the slip on is not snug with the stock collector and I have experienced some rattling. The directions are easy to follow but the pictures need to be bigger and in color. Motorcycle superstore is the only site I go to for my sportbike needs; they offer great prices, consistent deals and exceptional service!

Josh Woodland,  CA 2008 Ninja 250R For a small 250, this exhaust is a MUST! The sound is amazing. Like other reviewers say, the sound is "deep, loud, and sounds very aggressive." Very easy install, took me only about 1-2 hours (and only because I was taking my time). Fit perfectly. TBR has awesome exhausts.

Trevor Granger Beaufort,  SC Badass sound! This exhaust is incredible. It is much lighter than stock, looks much better, and sounds incredible(very deep, loud, aggressive sounding). The only problem I had with install was that the mid-pipe did not want to slip on to the headers very easy. Other than that, great stuff!
