I went to my local dealer and found this battery (or one so similar that the difference was negligible) and the cost was $110.00. I bought it here because of the ratings people gave and the price at which it was advertised. Well...I followed the assembly instructions, charged it, installed it, bike started right up, and I sold the bike 2 hours later. Can't testify to long term usability but the price worked for me!

I guess when I read Maintenance Free I was hoping the battery was plug and play. Not pour the acid in and charge the battery first. Oh well other than that the battery works fine.

Needed a replacement battery for my wife's sportster 1200xl. The front mounting posts on the original Harley battery were flush with the battery, but this one has the posts slightly recessed, which means you have to slightly bend the terminals to securely mount them. Not really a problem for most, but for some, maybe. Otherwise it was a great price and she started right up on the first try. Fast shipping; great co. to deal with!!
