I've used NGK for years. The prolonged life of these plugs is worth the extra cost!
Not sure if there's a difference

Now, as most of us know, the improvement felt with any new plug is mainly due to degradation of the old plug. I bought these mainly for the anticipated longer durability of which I can only read about. If they last twice as long, then they are worth it because even though they cost twice as much, the real savings is in the labor of changing the plugs, which on the 2002 Suzuki SV650S is significant.

I replaced the standard plugs in my FJR1300 with these and my mileage went from 38-39MPG to 41-43MPG and the power is awesome!!! The front end lifted several times this week avoiding NY and NJ drivers without maxing the throttle!!! You've got to get these for your scooter!!!

When plug changes are a PITA like on the V-Strom, it's nice to have a plug that will last 25k+ miles. Some Strom owners have reported many more miles than this without any trouble. Fancy plugs don't improve performance significantly unless the old ones were really shot, so any increase in performance is probably imagined. Buy these anyway for the longevity.

initially tried these in a '78 yamaha xs650e after reading about improved performance obtained by Heiden tuning, noted a little slower to start, but better overall performance ( smoother acceleration and @ idle), subsequently tried'em in "07 dl 650 k7 with perceptibly smoother running engine result.

For those who want to know. I ride a DL650K6 and ran my first set of NGK Iridium plugs for 28,000 miles with virtually no signs of wear. Since I was doing the scheduled valve and throttle body check/adjustment, I installed a fresh set. I have since put 38,000 miles on those plugs and they still look fine. Talk about cost benefit!
So far, so great

I put these plugs in my '09 Suzuki V-Strom DL650A at 7,500 miles. I've only put another 1,500 miles on it since then, and it may be my imagination, but it feels like the engine is running "smoother." (not that it was ever rough). I think my mileage might've even gone up a bit. No idea how long they'll last, hence the 3-star rating for "durability."
Best plug you can buy!

Iridium plugs offer a noticeable improvement over standard plugs in my bike. It starts quicker and idles smoother. Gets a little better gas mileage too. Now these plugs won't give you 5 extra H.P., what they do give you is enough to warrant them.

We bought and installed this plug in a KX250F and it seems to start a whole lot easier than with the used/dirtied up plug that came with it from the dealer. As cheap as plugs are, I would change them rather than trying to clean them. This looks like a plug you can find in an auto parts store, which is where I'll likely shop for a replacement. I might even try to find a cross reference to a Bosche Platinum plug, which I have had a lot of success with in our vehicles.
