Half and Half
I have this manual and an actual Honda service manual for a different bike. The first thing I did with my pre-owned bike was check the nitrogen pressure in the monoshock. Well, that let a ton of pressure out in less than a second; I went into the manual to find the pressure so I could refill it. It says: Refer to a certified shop ... or some such and gave no spec on the shock pressure. I was immediately not satisfied. The manual also doesn't state the torque or h/p specs on the bike. Don't get me wrong, it’s good enough for most jobs on the bike, it just failed me the very first time I went to use it. My Honda manual for an xr500 lists absolutely EVERYTHING in it along with pics of tools in use to do all those things. I prefer it over this but you do have to pay the extra so there's a tradeoff.

Maint/repair book
I have a 1982 Honda and this book covered everything I needed to know to keep my motorcycle running good. I just fixed the front fork, it was leaking and your book easy to follow and it only took me about two hours fix the leek.
