Metzeler Sportec M1 Supersport Front Tire
  • The second generation of Metzeler's steel-belted radial motorcycle tires
  • Metzeler Advanced Winding (MAW) technology winds steel belts onto the tire with spacing that differs according to the demands on the tire; narrow and wide steel belt windings are placed where needed; this gives the tire outstanding directional stability and focuses the flexibility or rigidity of the tire where it is needed
  • Cornering precision is greatly improved
  • Stand-up braking is minimized
  • Carbon black and state-of-the-art silica-silane tire construction materials allow for excellent tire adhesion and fast tire warm-up

Todd Pensacola,  FL Metzeler - Sportec M1 Supersport Front Tire I got the set and, really like the feel better than the Dunlop's that came with the bike. I put a 4 on durability but, haven't had them long enough to grade them on durability. If they last a fair amount, I will get them again from Motorcycle Superstore.

bigcdub Marion,  IN metzeler m1 Got a set of m1's to replace stock dunlop on front and metzeler m3 on back. I don't have that much experience with motorcycles or tires, but I can say I am totally impressed with these tires so far. My '07 zzr600 corners far better than it did before which gives me confidence to build my skills. Would've got the m3's but I liked the tread pattern on these better, and they do look good on the bike. Handles good on wet roads too.

Michael Colorado Springs,  CO Sportec M-1 Front tire If you ride a sport bike, this a great tire to have! It warms up quickly, it grips tenaciously, and it gives the bike a nice, balanced, neutral feel in regards to handling. It does NOT track grooves in the road (which is good!) It wears at a moderate rate for a sport tire. The biggest compliment I can give this product is it inspires confidence in the front end of the motorcycle. That's priceless.
