  • All the same benefits of the Viper Sport Tire, but a higher degree of performance due to the softer compound
  • Designed to handle the full performance of today's superbikes
  • New silica compound gives better durability and cornering grip
  • Advanced Tread Arc Combination (ATAC) tread profile varies the tread profile across the tire for the ultimate in handling and stability

Tristan Dayton,  OH Excellent Tires! I replaced a worn pair of AV60 Supersports onto my 2002 YZFR1 because they were the tires already on it. I have owned several motorcycles and ridden on tires from Dunlop, Bridgestone, Michelin, and Pirelli. These were the first Avon's I had the pleasure of riding on. From the get go, after the first 100 miles or so, I was getting into them. Hitting corners at 110mph+ with complete confidence in them. No slipping, sliding, vibration, or anything. Felt like riding on air. I haven't had them in wet conditions, so I don't know how they handle there, but excellent in dry conditions. The rear is a little too sticky when stopping, the rear tire has a problem of wanting to grip too hard when braking from high speeds, but after a slight recalibration on my part of high speed braking, that obstacle was obsolete. All in all, after wheelies, and hard acceleration over 5300 miles, I finally had to replace the rear, but the front still has a few thousand miles left in it. I would recommend these tires as an excellent option for anyone who likes to do hard recreational driving who likes to keep high performance and quality parts on their machines.
