Product Description
Bridgestone brings you genuine MotoGP technology for the street with their new Battlax BT-016 Hypersport Performance Tires
New multi-compound technology derived from MotoGP delivers the grip performance demanded in every aspect – braking, maximum side grip in cornering, and strong traction at the exit of a corner
Rear tire features a new triple compound (5LC) The center compound offers good stability, the shoulder compound transfers power to the road with strong traction while the edge compound offers strong side grip and solid contact feeling at extreme lean angles
The rear tires L shaped grooves enhance shock absorption and rear-end steering. Groove location not across tread center area provides both wet performance and strong traction. High speed durability is also maximized
The steel MS-BELT (mono-spiral belt) construction applied to front and rear tires absorbs sudden impact from bumps and offers high stability and tremendous line-holding in corners
HTSPC- ( High Tensile Super Penetrated Cord – Mono Spiral Belt ) technology in front and rear tire provides rich contact feel, strong grip and high-speed stability
3D-CTDM ( Comprehensive Tire Design Method ) is advanced tire design technology that enables dynamic, three-dimensional simulations of tire performance at all lean angles
Compares to Dunlop Qualifier, Michelin Pilot Power/Pilot Sport HPX, Pirelli Diablo/Rosso, Metzeler Sportec M-3/M-1

BT-016's
I Recently replaced the stock DIABLO CORSA III's on my 2008 Ducati 1098. I ride fairly aggressively, usually with a couple of track days thrown in. I decided to try the 16's as a replacement for more street riding and bump absorption, fewer track days. After only 100 miles I can say grip has been very good with no unusual handling characteristics after scrubbing them in. These tires warm up quickly and have impressed me to this point. I would highly recommend this tire for any sport bike as a replacement. I do not ride the Duc in the rain, so I did not rate it.

BT-016
Hey all, I picked up a new 160/60x17 BT-016 for the rear of my 03 SV650 Suzuki and have only put a couple of hundred miles on it so far. I have been running Pilot Powers for a few years and loved them until I started to melt them on hard rides with my buddies. So I went with Power Races, med rear and PRC soft front. And those have worked excellent for me. I ran over something and killed my good rear race and thought that I would give the rear 016 a try. First off I noticed that the bike handles very similar to the way it did with races front and rear (very stable). On a ride with my bros who were running full race tires I had no problems at all with the rear sliding. It stuck great and gave good feedback. It's too soon to tell how it will wear, but it only looked slightly used after the 200 miles. I have yet to try it in the rain, but will soon. :-( I am an Ex AFM class champ and push a little harder than most street riders. I rate this tire excellent and would recommend it to all levels of street/track riders. I will buy another rear as needed. And a front as soon as I wear my PRC out. Bridgestone has an excellent product with their new BT-016's

BT-016 rear tire
The best, most advanced tire yet! It's almost like you're on a rail they stick so well. The multi-compound design is truly something derived from MotoGP!

An awesome tire
I have these tires stock on my '08 gsx-r600. The day after I got them they had enough grip to only leave about half a centimeter of "chicken stips"/wax. After only a month there was no wax left. The tires are incredibly sticky. I have almost 5600 miles on them and I'm getting a new back tire tomorrow. There's still tread left on it though. I've gone very fast on the highway and leaned as far as I can go; with these many miles I can do that. I would recommend this tire to anyone. Good tire life (for a racebike), great adhesion. I'm sure that other tires last longer so that's why I rated tread life as a '3'.

Great Tire
I bought my 08 CBR 1000 RR with the battlax 015 on there and I went through those in 2500 miles it tore right through them and I put the 016's on there and they are great with all the power I am still tearing the center up coming out of corners and the edges are going pretty quick to I have about 1200 miles on them and they probably got about 2500 miles left and they heat up very very quick but they do get greasy so you have to watch your self but i would recommend them to any one

Battlax BT-016
I just put my tire on about 400 miles ago, but it seems to be a pretty great tire so far! I drive 35 miles, each way to and from work, in the rain the majority of the time, and the tires have good bump absorption, traction for laying down the power, and excellent cornering grip! But, still not sure about tread life. Would recommend to anyone.

Brigestone by-016
I have put about a thousand miles on the new tire and I'm very satisfied with them no problems in the rain and they grip really well even cold, they also absorb a lot of shock. I have a 07 r6 and its a stiff ride but the tire helps on bumps
