Travis Central Point,  OR Dunlop Sportmax The Sportmax has great grip and warms up very quickly. The drawbacks are that it tends to wear in an odd way, and also the tread life is quite short. I realize that it’s more of a track-type tire and longer tread life is not expected. However, I have had grip that is just as amazing with the Metzlers. I’ll leave it up to you, but it is a very nice grippy tire and inspires confidence. I won’t be replacing it with another Sportmax, for my own preference, because of the odd wear habits that make the tire dive after it’s worn in, and the short tread life. … but she sure grips. Motorcycle Superstore rocks.
