Product Description
  • The new concept tire from Pirelli is called the Diablo Rosso. Instead of using multi- compounds, they use what is called EPT (Enhanced Patch Technology) to ensure a better grip and better performance on the road.
  • Based on their leading experience in the motorcycle racing world, they produced this tire for the street legal (super)sports motorcycles. Sports motorcycles have been increasing their power and torque over the last decade, and the tires need to follow this trend. Current tires are limited, hence the reason Pirelli came out with a new concept.
  • The structure design is aimed to maximize - at every lean angle and every speed - the contact patch; in terms of area, shape and pressure. This combination supports the tread to reach an unbeatable level of grip and stability. The tire structure has been designed in order to get the set synchronized into balanced behavior, with the 2 tires perfectly matched in dynamic use.
  • The patented Zero Degrees steel belt below the tread keeps the tires in the most suitable shape at all times and yet provides enough elasticity for a very progressive feedback and behavior in lean, allied to unbeatable bump absorption. With the support of the compound the zero degrees steel belt also guarantees huge braking stability.

David Reusch Jr. Florence,  KY Front and rear review I researched like crazy on which tires to purchase for the rider that loves curves yet needs mileage since it's somewhat of a daily commute. I chose these due to the claimed mileage wear by others of about 4-6k miles. The only tires that I have to compare to are the crappy Dunlops that came with my SV650 but WOW. You can pick a line with these tires and they follow that line. I feel very confident in these tires. Haven't tried them in the rain nor can I review on the tread-life so I'm going by rumors on those ratings.

eric baltimore,  MD pirelli tires These are some of the best tires I have ever ridden on! After the initial 100 mile oil slick wore off, the tires felt like I was gliding on a buttery biscuit! I had qualifiers and those were nothing compared to these! I recommend this product to anyone that is a daily rider that rides hard!

Richard Weidman Sturgeon Bay,  WI Rosso Tires Very Smooth and Stable The Rosso tires are the smoothest and most stable tires I have put on my '02 VFR. Although they do not seem to have the stick of the Diablo III, they absorb everything the road can throw at you. With only 500 miles wear is not an issue yet.

Charlie Mo Fort Worth,  TX The stickiest Street Tires $ can buy... I have Rosso's front and back of my Buell XB12R you have to tuck the knee into the frame on corners to keep your knee cap on your knee. Once these tires have heat in them they feel like slicks. You cannot do a rear wheel burnout once the tire is warm because it just grips and pushes the front wheel forward because of the bigger contact patch the 190 rear has over the 120 front... I know on my Buell I can do over double the post MPH on twisty's and never notice. NO LIE!

Greg Vernal,  UT Pirelli Diablo Rosso I just mounted these tires on my Speed Triple. The bike came stock with Michelin Pilot Powers. I liked the Mich's a lot, but despite some very spirited canyon rides the center of the tire seemed be wearing considerably faster than the sides. When it came time to replace them I talked to a few of my riding buddies to see which tires they had good luck with. The Diablo’s seemed to be a favorite of just about everyone I talked to (several of whom compared them very favorably to the Metzeler Sportecs). Everyone also bragged about the long life they had gotten on the Diablo’s (6-7k), I thought they would be worth a shot. So far the tires seem pretty great. Since I haven't had any traction issues yet with the Pirelli I think I will continue using them if I get better mileage than I did with the Michelins.

Christopher Valdosta ,  GA Tires of Victory I have a 2005 636 which of course is not as powerful as some but will scoot none the less. I must say I am very happy with these tires! They are harder in the center for longer life and softer on the edges. I love corners and curves and I have tested them time and time again. You can really tell how well they grab in the corners from when riding in a straight line on the harder center. Its feels like throwing a sponge on the ground soaked in glue. I previously had Supercorsa Pro's and they were great but did not last.

ilya tarasov east brunswick,  NJ best so far (2007 ZX10R) Got a front and rear set for my 2007 zx10r. Best upgrade money can buy for this motorcycle. Not only sticks like on glue in turns, you can go low, reeeeaaaly low, but also makes bike feel like a bicycle at low speeds, really easy to control. Definitely worth buying!
