Great tire so far.
So far I've put about 4k on this tire on my 08 gixxer 750 and it still looks like it was just put on. I'm not a hard core knee dragger, I still have a 1/4 in. chicken strip and its held the road without issues. If this tire last 10k instead of 4k like normal tires you better believe i'll be buying this tire again. Also have had it in the rain and it held great.

Great Tires
Had the original pilot road tires before but they are no longer made for my bike. Was not sure how the road 2 would be but they have been great so fare. I have had them in wet, dry and up over 100 mph. No complaints and would recommend them to a friend

Pilot Road 2
I switched to these tires from a set of Dunlop’s. I put a pilot sport in the front and a road 2 in the rear, and let me say this. I will never go back! These tires make it feel like a whole new bike. The front is soft enough to really pull you into the corner and the rear is hard enough to give you a long lasting tire. If you want to stand on the rear wheel I wouldn't suggest these tires. However if you want to really tear it up at the track seriously look into a set. After about 800 miles the rear has almost no wear marks. Hope this helped.

Been about a month on this tire and I love it. I had a Metzler sporttec or something on my Buell X1 that was worn out after about 3000 miles. Wanted something to last longer and this has to be the best tire on the market for a street bike. No problem in the corners and sticks just fine with quick braking. Hope to get a lot of miles out of this one.

So much better!
I went to the road 2 after having the pilot powers rear wheel on my 06 Speed Triple. The pilot power started showing the steel belt after only 1500 miles. So far I have put 1500 miles on the roads and has just barely shown any wear. The tire has a steeper lean angle than the powers that took some getting used to. This tire is very sticky when leaned over and stays planted even when wet. I highly recommend this tire and this site as it has the lowest prices!

Great tire michelin pilot road 2c
I ran a set of Michelin pilot power 2C on my CBR F2 and the rear lasted a little over 4000 miles. I ride over 1100 miles a month, so I was a little disappointed on the quick wear. I did like how the tire stuck in the corners. I am hoping to get the same ride performance with a better wear life for the pilot roads. I have put about a 1000 miles on this new tire so far, and it feels like I did not loose any performance. The tire shows very little wear, so I am hoping to get the estimated 8000 miles.

Don't Wait to purchase
I put a set of these tires on my ZX-14 after wearing down the OEM tires to a point that required replacement. My only mistake was waiting until I needed a tire replacement. Simply put these tires are awesome. You can feel just how well they grip to the pavement. The mechanic that was static balancing the tires for me handed me the old OEM tire and the new Pilot Road 2 tire to feel the weight difference. The Pilot Road 2, while new was lighter than the worn out OEM tire. My suggestion to anyone looking at tires is to not wait to replace the OEM tire with this one. Don't wait for the old tire to wear out. Get a set of these as soon as you can. You will be happy you did.

So far very satisfied. Have 3500 miles on them and showing some wear. got a nail at 2000 miles on the 1st rear then replaced it with the same type (3500 on current tire) Just finished 3500 miles to Yellowstone and these performed wonderfully.

worth every penny
I am new to riding sport bikes and I swapped the factory tires on my R1 for these Michelins, and I am totally amazed. It is like riding a totally different bike. The handling has improved, they are smoother and the bike is not nearly as bumpy. I have run them in the rain at 70mph with no problems. I use these on my daily commute 30 miles one way everyday and am completely satisfied. Well worth the extra money when my life is depending on only two tires. Will buy again!

The tires are much quieter and more responsive than the pilot road tires they replaced. So far I am very satisfied with the tires and hope they also give me improved handling in wet conditions than the pilot roads and more tire life than I got from the original pilot road tires.

Can't Beat Um ...
I live in Canada and work in Washington. Ride 325+ days a year in all weather (mainly wet!!). Put on about 900-1000 miles-a-month. My life depends on the two wheels beneath me and I ride in confidence with the Pilot Road 2's underneath me. Straight, twisty, rough, smooth, no matter the road conditions, they are always a good ride. Don't make the mistake of getting something else. These are ready for whatever you have to throw at them..

Just about every one I know that rides uses these tires or some form of the pilot series tires. For long distance or hitting the twisties, I would have to say that these are the best tires on the market. With the dual compound you get the best of both worlds and I would recommend them to anyone.

OEM on my 07 Triumph 1050 Tiger. Great grip on the twisties and 9000 mile life span! commuting 80 miles per day: 20 miles of 75-80mph sweepers, 60 miles of highway, couple of miles town. Will definitely buy again.

Great Tire
This is a really good looking tire for any sport bike. I put it on my suzuki katana 600. It fit very well, except that I somehow made my chain rub on something so now I have a clicking noise, but the tire looks good on the bike. It drives smooth, gives a good feeling of confidence that the little patch of rubber underneath you is gonna hold up. I would recommend this new tire design to anyone. I am glad I upgraded from the original pilot road tire to the new series.
