Product Description
Michelin Pilot Road 2 Rear Tire
Independent tests confirm the Pilot Road 2 offers better wet grip and longer tread life than any of its competitors
How did Michelin incorporate these two contradictory traits in one tire? MotoGP-derived 2CT technology makes it possible, using two distinct rubber compounds to achieve what was once thought impossible.

Michelin - Pilot Road 2's
I've only been on these for 600 miles, but so far so good. Beautiful "to look at" tires - good visual appeal. My wife has a version on her '99 Volvo Turbo, so I was confident they'd be good at high speed ;-). and - they are. It’s nice to not have to think about tires when you're out having some fun and things get to moving by you pretty fast. Some explanation: Stability: Superb @112.5 Cornering: Can't complain, but haven't pushed it Dry Traction: So far, so good Wet Traction: May never know (I’m a fair weather rider) Tread Life: TBD. This is important to me. I'm hoping for 8K miles. BTW: I ride a '03 ZX9R recreationally, no track, minimally on the freeway. I seek out canyons and twisties and any paved, smooth surface where cars and trucks are few. These tires are a little pricey, but IMHO, you get what you pay for.

Great tire for my Daytona 675
Purchased a set of these to replace my Dunlops. I am a winter rider so I am looking for a good cold weather grip. I also ride on rainy days and this tire fits the bill on both. You can feel the stickiness of the tire immediately so warm up is not an issue. And I've been through some good storms with the tire remaining firmly planted and stable. I'm happy with the purchase and feel these tires provide great bang for the buck.

Best tire at any price
These tires cost a little more for the Sprint ST 1050 than others I have used but are by far the best. They have the excellent handling of the Pilot Powers with the durability of the Pilot Roads. I can't think of a reason to try anything else.

Michelin Pilot 2 Rear
I replaced the Michelin I had on my 2004 K1200GT. Picked up a screw with 4k on the tire. The first tire worked well for me in all weather conditions and showed very little wear. That's why I went back to the same tire. Happy up to this point.
