K & N Air Filter for my ZX-14
Replacement paper filters were at least $35, at just over twice that cost I have a renewable filter that will last longer than the bike. Was very tight fit on installation. Have not gotten it on a dyno, but my seat of the pants option is the motor is breathing easier and the power is up. Only concern is the rubber outer edge, seems like it will tear after removing it a couple times for cleaning.

A good upgrade investment. More power hp gain for cheap. Molded plastic fit is a little tight. Easily modified by small rod file or low speed dremmel. Get Dynojet Power Commander and exhaust upgrade for max power gain.

K&N replacement for Valkyrie Interstate
The Tank removal is the worst part of this job. The K&N filter fit perfectly and has added a slightly throatier exhaust note for a perception of improved performance. The cost is steep, but if your plans are to ride the same bike for a number of years or lot's and lot's of miles (I do), it will hopefully be worth it.

I had to trim the filter's frame to get it to properly fit into the groves in the air box. I haven't been able to see a large increase in power or fuel economy. I never have experienced the claims they make on the advertisements, do not have a dyno. at my house. After trimming off some of rubber framing, the filter fit great. It came pre-oiled another plus. Personally, I believe that the filter is made of better quality and will last forever.

Not much needs to be said about K and N filters unless you been living in the dark ages. Million mile warranty the last filter you will have to buy for the life of your vehicle. plus the the horsepower gain is just a bonus for the money K-n-N IS THE BEST H.P. gainer you can just drop in and go defiantly the best bang for the buck. a must have for all my vehicles

Well worth it!
I just bought this filter for my '07 Kawasaki ZZR600 and it was worth every penny. The engine runs more freely through the rpm range. I noticed some improved throttle response. The best thing with all K and N filters is the knowing you do not have to worry about them for a long time.

I Love K&N filters!
I have a K&N cold air induction system on my Super Sport Dodge Truck and I love it, so it was only a matter of time before I put one on my sport bike. I have notice a big difference already in power and acceleration over the stock filter. I think they are well worth the cost. Try one and see for yourself.

Easy to install, noticeable power difference, and mileage. Went up about 9 miles per tank. If you use your bike as a daily driver or thrash it around town you need this cheap and easy upgrade!

Worth it!
These are good quality, high-flow air filters that you can clean and recondition pretty much indefinitely. They are noticeably less restrictive than stock, which means that you will need to adjust your carburetor or fuel injection when you install one. Worth it.

k&n filter
Found the filter to be a little difficult to align and fit into the stock air filter box. Have not felt any dramatic power increase, but then again I’m not a dyno machine. A bit pricey. Filter does last longer and is more durable than the stock Yamaha foam. I also use the outwears topical filter which is definitely working. You can see the dust it catches. If it was not on the outwears it would have gone straight into the filter itself.

Well as I expect from any K&N air filter it does add a boost in H.P. and is a permanent air cleaning solution as long as you properly maintain it. On my particular bike, it took quite a while to add this filter since I had to disassemble half the front fairing, and lift the gas tank to access the housing. Once I accessed the housing it was a piece of cake. I do recommend you have some silicone handy as there was a small gap between the top and bottom housing since the K&N outer frame is thicker than the stock filter. Not a major gap, but one that I could see. So, I just filled the gap with some clear silicone. Other than that, works great in addition to my Scorpion slip-on exhaust. Did not need to remap for this combined modification.
