So far so good, seems to have increased gas mileage by about 10 - 20 km's a tank, but also probably just because it's new and clean. Fit was bang on and the price very reasonable. Thanks again Motorcycle Superstore!!

Performance Increase

Great Quality Air Filter For High - Performance Bikes
You have to know why are you installing this filter at the first place: 1) Reusable filter for life and, 2) Performance improvement. I have an '06 Ninja 650R with the stock pipe, and this BMC filter makes the bike run a bit leaner. It flows more air, and between 3500 and 5500 RPM's there is a substantial drop in torque, as tested and confirmed on a dyno. If you plan to put a custom pipe too, this is your best choice. If not, stick to the OEM air filter.

Great filter!
I can feel a difference with this air filter for sure. The throttle responds slightly faster and the bike is slightly more powerful. The foam that was supplied with the filter had to be super glued onto the filter even after I cleaned the edges as stated in the instructions. My filter was very snug, snug enough to where it ripped the foam in half. It could've just been my particular bike or something. I haven't heard of this problem with any other reviews I've read.

I prefer BMC over K&N. I have both and though no noticeable performance difference, the quality of the BMC filter is better.

BMC air filters a very-good product.
Used K&N and decided to try BMC. Quality of the filter is excellent and the hard plastic frame with foam seals are much easier to use compared to the K&N hard rubber and sealing grease. The only draw-back is the cost, almost double that of K&N. But one must expect that from an "Italian" import, euro-products are always more expensive.
