Flated at Delemar Ghost Town

I was 50-miles out in the sticks and I had a pencil sized hole in rear tire on my BMW R1150GS. This kit saved me. I used one of the gummy worm plugs, no glue and a single 45-gram cartridge. The whole repair took less than 10 minutes and after topping the tire up at the first gas station I came to, I rode over 150-miles home with zero air loss. I'll be buying a couple more of the air cartridges and some fresh plugs, just in case.

Unsure

Fortunately I have not had to use for a flat so can't rate its useage. Looks like it will work well but carry pouch is crap. I divided into two using another small case I had.

Right on time

I recently had to use this kit after a nail punctured the center of my tire. I was able to plug and inflate the tire with the CO2 cartridge in less than 15 minutes. This kit is a must have. The only issue is with the carrying case. It was difficult to fit all the components in the small bag, but with proper placement of the parts, they will fit and it will zip up with no problem!

GI-STR saves the day

I bought this item in 2005 and it has been part of my regular gear since. I have never had to use it until this past weekend and it performed perfectly. My brother had a puncture rolling down Route 66 in VA and lost all pressure in his rear tire in less than 30 seconds. We found the hole easily due to it being such a large hole in a brand new tire. Put 2 plugs in the hole due to its large size and inflated the tire using 3 of the 16g cartridges. Pulled into the next gas station aired up the remaining 5 PSI and let the tire sit while we had some dinner. The plugs held for the remaining 100 miles of the trip. I will never ride anywhere without this kit and suggest it to any one that rides.

Genunine Innovations Street Tire Repair and Inflation Kit

This is a very complete, easy to use kit that will get you back on the road after a simple puncture in the main belt of a motorcycle tire. The only thing it needs is a good storage pouch. The pouch delivered with it is too small for the contents and difficult to repack.

redesign

Everything looks good, I have not tried yet and I hope I never have to. I am planning on a 3,000 mile ride. The bag that comes with kit is worthless, you can't fit kit in it, I had to purchase another bag for the kit.

Rider

The components of the repair kit are top quality but it's a shame the same attention to detail didn't go into the case. Trying to pack it and zip it closed is next to impossible. I took the easier route and ordered an Envelope Case from Aerostich.

nice product

Price was a bit much I thought, but hey what isn't. Haven't had to use it yet, but I like it and I feel comfortable about my purchase. A lot of people complain about the bag everything’s in so I thought I would type a guide. Put the T-handle tool upside down. Then put the 2 Co2 cartridges screw side down to where they rest next to the handle on each side. Then the spiked looking tool point first in the middle. Put everything else in the baggy that the tube patches come in, minus the air tip. And slip that in the middle front. Start sipping it up. It will be tight. Once half way closed slip the airtip in so it is in the best position to close the bag. Zip it up, and good to go. Be safe. And thank you for a great product.

Blown Away

I had a nail in my rear 190 tire of my Triumph Daytona 955i. The repair kit was great and was easy to fix. The packaging is terrible as not all the stuff fits inside the bag. I had a foot pump handy so I did not have to use the Co2 canisters which is great as I could fit the kit under my tail. I am still riding on the tire as it has not lost any air, I figure I can get another 1,000 miles out of the sucker before I put on a new one.

Not too much to choose from

I have not had a chance to use this yet, but the kit ought to be able to get you back on the road for all but the nastiest punctures. Tools are not high quality and don't look like they will stand much abuse. Kit is awfully pricey too.
