Easy to put together. This was the first time I've lifted my 07 CBRrr and was able to do it by myself fairly easily. I also purchased the black spools. Total time from opening the box to getting my bike off the ground was about 20 minutes including me attaching the spools to the bike. For the CBR owners with spools, just push the adjustable forks all the way out. Fits perfect.

Very sturdy
Being one of the cheaper rear stands you can find, I thought this was going to be worse than it is. It's very sturdy. Feels as stable as it does with the tire on the ground. I've already got a nick in the paint, though. The powder coating may be sub-par... But hey, for the price of this stand and the spools I couldn't have bought some of the higher quality stands out there so I'm happy with the purchase. I also like the way the handle is removable. Don't have an extra 2 feet of metal sticking out behind the bike when it's on the stand.

The stand works very well. It took a few minutes to get the stand adjusted, but once I did I was very satisfied. Stand was used for my Hayabusa and holds it with no worries from me.

Good Stand
The stand serves its purpose. It is sturdy and holds the bike upright with out issue. You may want help getting the bike up on it as it is not the easiest to balance the bike and lift it at the same time. I do not have spools on my motorcycle so I have used the part of it that just pushes up against the bottom of the swing arm.

Even though it is made in china it is a sturdy well made piece. I will get the front stand also. A buddy of mine who does all our bikes said they were good too.

Vortex Rear Stand
This stand works GREAT! Only mod I made to it was "rubberized paint" spraying the spool hooks (so it can't scratch my swingarm). I'd do that to any stand anyway. This unit is strong and stable. Why waste your money on higher priced stands? The Vortex works easily. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This is my first time owning a bike lift and i would say this was a great buy you can use it with or without swing arm spools. Also the handle to lift the bike is actually longer than what it shows on the picture which was great. i would highly recommend this product to someone else.

The Vortex rear stand works really well! It's stable and is easy to use!
One suggestion is to place a long 2” x 6” piece of lumber under your kickstand to get your bike less leaned over before you lift it. That way you don't need a second person to level the bike (as one person wrote in his review). With the bike more upright to begin with, lifting it up is a breeze.
Once up it's much more stable than the center jack I also have used to adjust the chain, but with that stand I almost tipped the bike over tightening the axle-nut. No such problem with this stand.

Vortex Stand
It is a good stand, especially for the money. This is the only stand I have ever used. I have only 2 complaints. 1. The handle could be a little longer for more leverage. 2. The forks have sharp edges which scratch up the spools. Otherwise is works very well and is much cheaper than others I looked at.

Bolt together construction good for shipping, but compromises strength and durability. Some rust evident on both painted and unpainted surfaces. However, actual function is very good, stable and easy to lift with the 4 wheel design and rubber stopper to prevent slipping. The spool yokes are easily adjustable, but should have a rubber coating to prevent scratching spools.

I've always wanted this stand, since one of my buddies has it. It's a great stand! The wheels are smooth driven by bearings & having two on each side makes it very stable. The detachable handle feature is an add on so it doesn't take too much space in the garage. Most of all, this is the place to get a great deal on it. I also bought my front stand from this site and got an awesome deal. I've searched other places but they can't compare. It's definitely a must have!!!

Great stand
I use this stand with the spool attachments on my 2007 CBR1000 and without spools on my 2002 919. Works great. After a little practice, one person can easily use this to raise the bike off the sidestand.

Nice stand
When mine arrived, the padding on the handle was split and the set screws were frozen in the support adjusters. I broke off two wrenches trying to get them out. It took them a month, but Vortex eventually got me the replacement parts for the supports. Now the stand works great.

It’s built solid and takes about 4 minutes to assemble. I bought the spools to go with this stand and it works exactly as I was hoping. I can't comment on how it works w/o the spools, but it seems like it would be fine.

Vortex-Rear Stand
I bought this stand mostly based on price, and I am not disappointed. I really can't compare it to anything as it is the first stand I have used. I am using it w/o spools and the bike is reasonably stable on it. I am using it with a Monster 620, so a relatively light bike and I am satisfied with it for this application. The axle holder sounded like kind of a goofy 'feature' until I used it, it’s handy.

Vortex Rear Stand
I bought this stand to work on my chain and to remove the rear tire on my CBR600. The stand seems well built with a pretty good finish. First, the padding on the handle keeps sliding off mine but that's not that big of a problem. And, I would say the stand is more suited for swing arm sliders because it's a little tight when using the rollers on the swing arm. Assembly wasn't bad, but it doesn't come put together and is a little confusing. The removable handle isn't really that usable, and in reality I will probably never take the handle off since it's bolted on.
