Probably not the strongest lock made, but to keep an honest person honest, it works. Very easy to use and store. Nice cable length so you can lock your helmet many different ways. The instructions to set the combination worked perfect, and was easy.

Instructions for setting combo were wrong. I figured out how to set the combo by holding in the reset button while locked and changing combo. Then after one week's use, the combo "magically changed" on it's own, rendering the device useless. I grabbed some needle-nose pliers cut the cable, and threw it away. Too bad, it's a great idea but it needs more engineering. NOT recommended.

It's a great helmet lock. But the instructions for setting the combo ARE WRONG! To set the combination, hold in the combo reset button after fully retracting the cable. Set your combination while holding in the reset button. That's all there is to that. Handy product - great design!

A great little lock for securing small and not so small items to my bike. I bought it to secure my Castle Street Bag to my rear rack which is where I store my helmet with a Cardo Scala Rider Bluetooth Intercom Unit attached to it. Too risky leaving a $500.00+ helmet (with Scala Rider attached) hanging on my sissy bar or handlebar. It looks (but isn't) complicated enough to discourage folks from messing with the lock or the bag.

Stops honest folks, but you knew that already. The instructions I received in both units were spot on. Less than 60 seconds after opening the package I and my buddy had reset the combo's. We used on a 2-week trip to secure bike covers, stuff to the bikes, etc. and it worked as advertised.

Purchased for locking our helmets to the bike. It will suffice for that purpose. Locks only keep honest people honest. If someone wants the gear, a good set of wire cutters will make quick work of cutting the cable. Good price, fast shipping and great service. Motorcycle Superstore is fast becoming my one-stop internet shop.
