Ryan B Pickerington,  OH Worth the price I bought this to lock my tank bag and jacket to my bike so I didn't have to carry them around with me. The instructions for setting the combination were kind of confusing but once I figured it out it's really easy to do. The detachable light is nifty too. I only wish the cable was about a foot longer.

Steven Huntington Beach,  CA Good for the Price! I did not buy this lock for extended security but as a deterrent for someone who might walk off with my helmet. I usually park in relatively safe public places so I realize that if I were to park in a secluded area this might not prevent someone from cutting the cable to take my helmet. The lock operates well and I like that I can easily change the combination. I would recommend it to anyone who has similar needs.

Bill Seidel Racine,  WI Kryptonite R4 combination I bought this light duty extendable cable lock to secure my motorcycle helmet to the bike when parked. Although a bit larger than I had pictured from the website it is very well built and offers good light duty protection. The combination was easy to set with its four dial system. The spring loaded extension cable provides enough length to secure not only the helmet but also a jacket that you don't want to carry with you after you park the bike. Simply put the cable through the sleeve to secure it to the backrest. This lock is not intended for heavy duty protection but its convenient size and simple operation make it the right choice for a quick lockup of low value, light belongings.

This thing is great when you want to run in the store and not have to schlep your jacket with you. I leave it in my tank bag at all times. Just run the cord through your sleeve(s) and around the grab bar and do your thing. Can't beat the convenience for $13.

Paul Johannsen Omaha,  NE Handy light duty security The cable isn't very thick, but the device is easy to use. I can quickly lock my helmet and tank bag to the bike. Good enough to deter a grab and run theft when in the convenience store. The point is that I'll actually use this because it is convenient, when I probably wouldn't take the time to fiddle with a more secure device. It also is easier to carry than a heavier cable lock.

Gary R. Swan Lansing,  MI Kryptonite - R4 Combination Cable I bought this lock for a riding buddy for Christmas. I've had one for about a year and he was always admiring it. I use mine to secure my leather jacket to my bike so I don't have to jam it into my saddle bag. Lock works great...while the light is a nice touch, sometimes it can get stuck in the “on” position when you stow something on top of the lock. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this product.
