ben collins los angeles,  CA Impressive While I am sure that the chain and lock are pretty impervious. My only reservation is that it is too heavy and bulky to carry around easily unless you have saddlebags. There is no way this goes into a backpack.

It's so heavy I have confidence that anyone would think twice about all the work it would involve in stealing my bike. I wish the chain was 8 feet instead of 5 feet. Don't get the 3 foot one. I read an article that stated you could pick the lock.

Wes portland,  OR No-nonsense theft deterrent I'm paranoid about my bike, and this product caters to my paranoia rather nicely. My first impression when I received it was "Bloody hell, this things heavy!"; and it absolutely scares off pretty much anybody. I'd be easier to take a chunk of the sidewalk with the chain then to try to break it. Highly recommended!
