Good Value, wide clear map reader
Full width clear map reader window fits 2 folds of standard map; window is attached w/ Velcro and easy to remove. Bag is a bit wide for my BMW R1200RT, bag hits left handlebar in tight low-speed turns slightly, not a problem after you get used to it. Easy to mount with lots of mounting options, I can't imagine a bike it won't fill pretty easily. Very good protection for the paint but a downside is fuelling; it takes perhaps 30 sec to unsnap the rear of the bag to get to the filler but no problem fuelling. It takes 30-45 seconds to snap down again, easier without gloves on. Bag looks good. Great value for a great price and looks good on the bike and has some outside storage for small things like credit card, folding money, etc. Glad I bought it after extensive research showed me no-one made one that would fit my bike with a large map window without interfering with the handlebars some.

works well
I swapped from an sv1000 to a cbr1000 metal to plastic tank so I needed a strap mounted tank bag. The chase harper bag works well and fits the cbr tank fine. The bag is definitely secure and stays in place at high speed and during wheelies. The only complaint is something that is completely unavoidable with any tank bag. If you change your body position much side to side, hanging off, the bag will move with you a bit. An annoyance, but nothing serious, if you got to hang off a lot you’re probably going a bit too fast for the street. Capacity is fine. Not sure about its water resistance. That is my only question about the bag. Time will tell.
