Rally Pack Vallue Tank Bag
I bought a 1994 BMW R1100RS. Plastic tank so I had to find a bag with straps that was big enough to hold normal daily travel necessities of a glove box plus phone and wallet and look good on the bike as it will always be on This is perfect. Soft backing molds to gas tanks curve and the straps hold it tight and no hard plastic snaps touch the tank. Easy to unsnap to lift and put gas in. Good map pocket. Terrific value.

Nice product. It's logged 2000 miles and hasn't scratched my tank. It's just big enough for rain gear and a few odds and ends. 8.5x11 directions need to be cropped or folded in the map pouch. Removed the nylon zipper dongles thinking they may scratch the tank. The attached rain fly is quick and easy on and off.

Very handy pack
I put mine on my 2003 Suzuki SV650 and it works great. It's out of the way, and it unbuckles easily to refuel. It'll hold more than I thought...I keep an extra t-shirt, tire gauge, maps, camera, disc lock, and some small tools in there, and still have room for a sports drink bottle, snacks, and some other stuff. My only small issue with it is that the sun reflects off the clear plastic map pocket, right up under the chin of my helmet and into my eyes. If it had some kind of velcro flap (that could be lifted easily to view a map) to stop the sun reflection, it would be absolutely perfect. I also wish it had neoprene straps under the buckles to protect the bike's paint.

Great for a long trek or just running errands around town.
I have this bag on my tank at all times and it's great for keys, wallet, small items. It comes off really easy so you can take it with you when you leave your bike. I also brought it with me on a long ride. It's very accessible for toll payment.

Good for small loads.
I bought this tank bag mainly for its price after my previous one was stolen. The construction is very solid and the zippers work nicely. Buckles feel solid. It’s only been a few months so I can't say too much for its durability except that it has held up thus far. It is good for small loads and maps. I normally carry my lunch for commuting to work and perhaps some other small items. I can also tightly roll thin overpants into it but with little left over space. I think I would like it more if this was rectangular in shape rather than tear drop.

Dowco Rally Pack Value Tank Bag
I have a BMW K1200R and it goes on easily enough and holds what I need to carry for a 200- 300 mile day ride. Not sure how long it will last, as I'm starting to see a little stitching coming loose, but, for the price I feel like I'm getting my money's worth. I would probably buy again because on a sport bike it doesn't stand up too tall and it looks like it was designed for it.
