Great utility from this bag
Ross B - August 09, 2007(Scottsdale, NC)
I use this on my '04 Interceptor. Perfect for miscelleneous items like water, extra gloves, camera etc. I even can fit my laptop in it. In AZ, I have started the morning with heavier gloves, and my jacket liner. Next thing you know its 80 degrees after noon (yes in Feb) and off comes the liner, and I switch to lighter gloves. Very handy bag indeed. Wish I could use the side bags.
Charlie - August 09, 2007(Springfield, AZ)
This is a truly great product - particularly if you are riding a sport bike. It is large enough to comfortably accommodate a large portfolio, 15" computer, a hat, telephone, and at least one book - I know this because mine does it every day. The only challenge is that you need to be a flexible person (do some Yoga or something) as you will need to kick your leg extra high to clear it when mounting your bike. Seriously... just buy one.
Great all around bag
Dominick - August 09, 2007(Patchogue, TX)
I first got this bag for my DR650 and liked its versatility and price, so I bought another for my V-Strom 1000. This is a great bag. Has enough room for most things and with the added expandability to attach matching side bags (Which I intend to get) it's a no-brainer.
cortech sport tailbag
james - August 09, 2007(williams, OK)
This bag has helped me get from point a to point b without the hassle of a heavy backpack. I won't go anywhere with out it again. thanks motorcycle superstore!
Julie - August 09, 2007(Redwood City, ID)
I have an '05 sv650 and this bag is perfect. It works great as an overnight/weekend bag with plenty of room for a couple of changes of clothes and a few other items. Agreed on above comment that it makes it a bit more difficult to get on and off the bike, but that would be expected with any tail bag. Highly recommended!
John - August 09, 2007(Albuquerque, TX)
Nice bag, very easy to install. I got this to fit my laptop and it works great for commuting to work.
TM Cortech Sport Tailbag & Saddlebag
Carmine - July 09, 2010(Franklin, NY)
I bought the Sport Tailbag and Saddlebag for my 1993 Suzuki GSX1100g. I'm very pleased with the quality, fit and how it looks when it's on the bike. There's lots of room along with a nice quick disconnect system.
sport tail bag excellent
Chiro Doc Luvs it! - August 09, 2007(Sacramento, WY)
F4i CBR 600 with highmount M4 exhaust. I cannot have saddle bags because of the exhaust. The tail bag was the best option. I didn't want to wear a backpack. Did a 400mi ride to Pismo Beach on Hwy 1 and 101 on the twisties. Had enough stuff packed for 4-5 days worth. I could've even put my laptop in there but that would've been competing with the boxers for the amount of days that I was taking. Good choice!
Excellent sport tail bag
A Bishop - August 09, 2007(Enfield, CT)
Fits great on the back of my Ninja 650R. Doesn't move at all while you’re riding and it's not overly huge so it's not hanging off the sides or anything. Holds a good amount of stuff. Great for commuting to work. It looks good too.
Brett - August 09, 2007(Salt Lake City, UT)
I bought this bag to use for commuting to and from work. It's big enough to hold my laptop, a book or two, and even a change of clothes (including boots). The design is well considered: it attaches and detaches to the bike easily with the four bungee chords; the shoulder strap is not fancy but sufficient; and the material on the underside of the bag keeps it from moving around on the seat. Great bag for a great price.
Cortech Tailbag System
1kewlcat - August 09, 2007(Santa Cruz, OK)
I really like things that offer multifunction, and this bag system offers just that. I originally purchased only the side bags and later added the third top mounted one. Easy to install (Suzuki S50 Boulevard)and remove when I want to cruz without them.
Cortech sport tail bag
BJ - August 09, 2007(Richmond, Nova Scoti)
Excellent quality. Expanding sides allow you to really pack in the gear for touring. Collapsing the sides, makes the bag perfectly sized to hold a laptop, lunch, and a few other office-commuting essentials. Reinforced sides keep the bag holding its shape even when empty. Rain cover tends to fly off at highway speeds, so throw a net over the assembly before hitting the slab. If it were made of a material like gore-tex, it would get 5 stars.
Barbara - August 09, 2007(Pearland, MD)
This tailbag works perfectly on my H-D Sportster equipped with solo seat and fender rack. I use it as a day bag to hold wallet, sunglass case, ball cap, sunscreen, etc. Unzip the side expansion zippers, and the bag is large enough to hold 4 days' worth of clothing, maps, rain suit. I used it as a carry-on for a fly-and-ride trip and it held half helmet, camera, purse, reading material.
Works and Looks Great
Steve - August 09, 2007(Regina, Prince Edw)
This tailbag works and looks great. I have it hooked up with the Cortech saddle bags. The capacity is good and accessiblilty is good. I ride a 1989 GSXR-750 and the saddlebags fit like they are custom made. They are easy to take off the bike and are very durable. The rain covers are good to have as well. Good product.
Terrific Tail Bag
Gary Clark - August 09, 2007(Orange County, CA)
This tailbag is terrific! I liked it so much I bought a second one just in case it was no longer available in the future. Versatile, and holds a 15 inch laptop as well.
Coretch Sport Tailbag
Rose - August 09, 2007(Sumter, TX)
I use this with the saddlebags on my SV650 and SV1000. Fit great. Easy on/off. We had enough room for a 5 day trip. Great product.
Cortech Sport Tailbag
Juliette - August 09, 2007(Boston, GA)
I love this bag! Not too high profile, expandable so it fits my laptop when I commute to work, and has room for shoes, skirt, and other accessories I need to fix helmet head. Great bag, easy to put on and take off bike, very affordable.
Perfect bag for my dual sport
DBC - August 09, 2007(Pataskala, MI)
I bought this tail bag for a dual-sport bike. It's the perfect size - not too large, but still enough to carry what I need for short trips on- and/or off-road. Great quality and design and easy to carry when off the bike. I'm also glad to have the dust/rain cover. I checked out several stores and web sites before settling on this one and I'm glad I did.
Tail bag is sweet
Paul Rosal - August 09, 2007(Philadelphia, CA)
The tailbag is a perfect fit on a Hayabusa. The bungee/hooks attach nicely to the frankenstein bolts. And its just the right size for a day trip.
Works for me!
Ralph - August 09, 2007(Raleigh, NC, LA)
Great bag. Does what it is supposed to do. Looks nice on my SV650. No complaints!
Another happy dual sporter
Ben - August 09, 2007(York County, Prince Edw)
It is great on my Honda XR400R. A lot of room for those long dual sport rides. I also like to ride alone and it has plenty of room for my emergency gear in addition to my regular gear (spare tubes and all the normal stuff). No need for separate tool kit bags, tube bags, back packs, etc. It can expend to hold a lot of stuff. It is a great bag, made of very tough material and seems like it will hold up well. I have searched for bags for a while, this one was the only one that fit my needs.
Cortech Tail Bag
Jared D. - August 09, 2007(Farmington, KY)
Great bag! Holds secure, holds it's shape, looks great, and holds enough stuff for a weekend ride. It fits perfectly on my ZX-10R's luggage rack and makes a Sportbike into a Tourer. A lot of useful thought went into this bag. It's easy to secure, easy to get into, and the expansion capabilities make this one a winner.
Lee - August 09, 2007(Chicago, GA)
I’m very happy this bag, it holds my rainsuit, lunch and thermos for my rides downtown to work. Carries well, easy on and off, good quality bag. Fits good and stays in place on my Ducati Monster.
Mark - August 09, 2007(Seattle, Prince Edw)
This tailbag fits my ZX-14 very well and with the hooks attached the passenger peg bracket doesn't move much if at all. I love the expandable sides. Overall, it is a great product and I will not hesitate to purchase the matching saddlebags if I decide I need more space for those multi-week trips.
Michael - August 09, 2007(Lewiston, PA)
I just got back from a road trip to Montana and was planning on taking a backpack and my new tail bag. I packed everything into my tail bag and ended up not even having to take a backpack. It didn't move at all on my '06 R6 even at high speeds, and I couldn't feel it in the turns. The only poor thing I can say about this is that it did scuff the paint on my bike, but it was worth it for the easy storage of all my stuff.
Great all around tail bag
Gary H - October 30, 2007(Syracuse, NY)
Has been great so far, I’ve been using it quite a bit and loading it right up.
Gary H - November 05, 2007(Syracuse, NY)
Easy install. Appears to be well made.
Matt - November 19, 2007(Indianapolis, IN)
I was looking for a small tail bag for my Triumph Thruxton and this is the perfect fit. Not too big and not too small. It fits well on the back of the bike and doesn't distort the look of the bike much. Well made bag that is expandable. Fits a laptop well.
Mick Singer - December 24, 2007(Machesney Park, IL)
Great unit. Haven't used it yet, but looks good and good quality.
Cortech Sport Tail bag
Jay - January 23, 2008(Atascadero, CA)
I purchased that tail bag for my 08 Kaw Concourse 14. Great product. I use it as a quick stowaway for gloves, cell phone, etc. Looks good on the bike, and will work great on the long weekend trips.
Good commuter / day tripper
Frank Fulcher - March 03, 2008(New Bern, NC)
This bag is excellent for commuting or day trips. I put it on my 600 Katana and it fits perfectly. I think I would prefer straps that Velcro under the seat. I like the adjustable size and the handy carry handle. A great bag for the money. Really looks well made. I have a lot of Cortech items and have always been pleased. I would definitely recommend.
Matches my bike
Thomas maraschiello - May 05, 2008(Lockport, NY)
It’s small in a good way. It fits perfectly on my scooter and holds the extra stuff I carry on the road. When I park my bike I just quickly disconnect it and with the handle it's highly portable. Would highly recommend.
Cortech bags are winners!
Mike - May 27, 2008(Apex, NC)
I had seen many others using these bags, after much research I tried them out. They are great. No complaints. If you stuff them full, you can unzip an extension on the sides for even more space. They fit nicely on my 2005 R6 if you put them in front of the stock turn signals, if you want them back where they really belong, you need to get some kind of fender eliminator and remove the stock signals.
Jason - June 02, 2008(Coquille, OR)
I haven't used this bag much, but the times when I have used it, it has worked well. It would shift a little bit on rides, but not enough to be concerned about. I haven't used it enough to say for certain, but it seems to be pretty durable. .
Tour Master - Cortech Sport Tailbag
DR - June 11, 2008(Boise, ID)
From a handling stand point I haven’t had the bags loaded heavy and/or on high speed rides so I can't speak to that. In town I have loaded up the bags at the grocery store and have no trouble zooming around corners on the way home. No adverse handling problems whatsoever.
SV 650 andCortech Sport Tailbag
Bill Sipple - June 12, 2008(Stilwell, KS)
Small but well made bag fits fine on my Suzuki SV 650. There's a removable neoprene pad on the bottom of the bag. It looks like the bungee cords can be replaced if necessary, but the ones with the bag are fine so far. I might get the Cortech Saddle Bags now that I see how well made these things are. A friend got the same Tailbag and put it on his Triumph Thruxton.......fits fine. Overall can find no faults with this bag.
Adan - June 16, 2008(San Antonio, TX)
I am very happy with this tailbag. I was looking for something that would not ruin the image of my sport bike such as saddlebags or one of those big unsightly tank bags, and I found it! There is plenty of room in this tailbag to fit many items in. If your sportbike is tall like mine FZ1 you may have to get use to standing on your pegs getting on and off your bike, an easy fix for the sake of luxury
Tour Master Bag
Joey Arnold - June 19, 2008(Youngsville, NC)
I love how the bottom has the bungee cords or netting attached so you don't have to pull a complete net across the top of the whole bag. This bag is great for a mid-size travel pack.
marc - June 23, 2008(Brookline, NH)
I'm really pleased with this tailbag. I use it for commuting and in the expanded mode I can fit a 15in laptop, assorted other gadgets, a pair of pants and some shoes. In the unexpanded mode it’s great for carrying an SLR, a bottle of water, phone etc. Its feels secure on the bike and I regularly use it at highway speeds without any kind of slippage. I haven't tested it in the rain yet so can't comment on its waterproofness but the included rain cover looks like it will do the job.
Lisa - June 23, 2008(Decatur, GA)
Holds my laptop, lunch and books. I usually use extra straps because I overload it. I would definitely buy it again.
Chris B - April 24, 2008(Philadelphia, PA)
I've always purchased Cortech stuff; good quality and reasonable prices. This bag is no different. Enough room to put my work sneakers, scrubs, some small items, laptop and it expands if needed. The bungee cords were a bit too long so I just cut them and re-attached the ends. The hooks are plastic so they don’t scratch the paint as easily. There is a layer of neoprene under the bag so it doesn't move around. Highly recommended.
Cortech tail bag
Jason Cooper - May 02, 2008(Goodyear, AZ)
Great storage. I hated wearing a back pack when riding. So I got this cortech tail bag for my Honda 1000RR. It worked with everything, no customizing.
Kevin - May 08, 2008(Oak Harbor, WA)
This is my briefcase. I use it everyday when I commute and it holds my lunch and any other assorted items I might need for the day. It fits well on my bike (2008 Ninja 250R) and is quite secure using the built in bungees w/ hooks. I don't even notice it is on the bike when I am riding. Great buy at the price. I live in the northwest and even in the rain I have never had to use the rain cover to keep the contents dry. This is a great bag for a day trip or even an overnight.
Don - June 25, 2008(San Antonio, TX)
I use it on a 2003 CB750 Nighthawk. No issues. Just what I needed.
Cortech Tail Bag
Roger Hyde - July 07, 2008(Calgary, AB)
Fits Harley Luggage Rack almost perfectly. Accordion sides are really useful when my wife says “can I just add one more thing?” Yes Dear and no your jeans do not make you look fat. Great product, great service.
Ann Avery - July 18, 2008(Knoxville, TN)
This bag is well made and roomy. I love the attached bungee cords.
Good all around the town bag
Deana Ostrom - July 23, 2008(Ellsworth, KS)
I bought this bag to use on my Schwinn scooter. It fits on the small luggage rack behind the seat and works great for carrying everything from folders and notebooks to small bags of groceries and even a pair of boots on occasion. The expandable sides make it very versatile. The hideaway bungee hooks makes it easy to attach to my scooter and with the handle it carries like small travel bag when not on the scooter. I'm very happy with this bag and would highly recommend it.
Cortech sport tailbag
pete - September 15, 2008(mesa, AZ)
This bag is perfect for my bike. Its stays right where you set it and the bungee cords that come with it are well hidden under the bag. I would definitely recommend this bag to people who might not want a tank bag.
Great for my Vulcan 750
Bob - September 30, 2008(Magnolia, TX)
I have a 2006 Vulcan 750 with a small Kawasaki luggage rack. This tail bag fits perfect, looks great and the built-in bungees are just the right length. I carry my laptop, rain suit and a complete change of clothes in this bag to work and back home every day. I haven't had to unzip the sides of the bag yet as I haven't needed the additional storage space.
Perfect all-around luggage
MikeO - October 01, 2008(Cincinnati, OH)
This bag is everything I expected it to be and more. I use it by itself on my '08 Royal Enfield Bullet for everything from light grocery shopping to college commuting to short road trips (tools, clothes, etc). The built-in bungee cords are great so I can strap it onto the bike and use it as a briefcase later. It is unobtrusive and fits my Enfield's factory seat perfectly but doesn't slide around. I've so far been able to fit everything I needed to in it, even the larger items. Highly recommended, I couldn't be happier with it.
Greg - September 25, 2008(Lexington, KY)
Looked through all of the catalogues for the best tail pack and I found it! I have a Cortech jacket and figured I couldn't go wrong. Secure on the tail, plenty of room for a weekend trip. Highly recommend this product.
Tour Master Cortech Sport Tailbag
Kenny - September 29, 2008(San Francisco, CA)
The Cortech sport tailbag is great, I can take my lunch to work and I could put a extra of gloves in bag. Easy to use.
Val - April 01, 2009(LA, CA)
This bag fits securely when place on my Buell Blast. No shifting around, ample room. Works perfect when using criss-cross pattern to hook under bike. A lot of space for laptop and change of clothes.

Rod Constant - April 10, 2009(Tyler, TX)
Fits on my DR650se like it was original equipment!
Looks good, plenty of room, and can also buy the saddle bags if I need them. Great deal! This was the perfect answer to my gear problem. Thanks for helping me out! Rod
Cortech sport tailbag
Pete - March 18, 2009(Ft Walton Bch, FL)
After looking at other tailbags this one was the best one for my 06' FZ6. Fits perfectly on the back seat and the bungee cords can be hooked on the hand hold. With the ability to expand lots of room for PT gear, tennis shoes, and pair of jeans. Glad I bought this one, next will be the sport saddlebags to match it.
Bill - March 31, 2009(houston, TX)
Well made. Attaches easily with bungee cords included with bag. Multiple pockets and sides can be unzipped to expand if needed for larger item. Just the right size for running around town when you have several small items to stow or when taking short trips and want to take some water or store personal items.
great bag for the price
Michael - April 10, 2009(Mt. Sterling, KY)
A three or four day road trip is no problem with this bag. Looking to get the saddle bags to go with it for longer trips. Fits the rear of my '99 X1 Buell nicely and is made well. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase this bag again. I really like the inside pockets and key keeper to keep things nice and secure.
Fits great on Ninja 650
Mike - April 27, 2009(Rochester, NY)
I use this bag on long rides with my 08 Ninja 650. Fits great and holds plenty of stuff.
Cortech tail bag
Phil Y - May 04, 2009(Kapolei, HI)
Great little bag which holds a lot for running around town.
Jared - May 13, 2009(Phoenix, AZ)
I picked this bag up along with the saddlebags and the mini tank bag. I was able to use them for the first time this weekend and loved them! They fit together very nicely and have way more room than I needed for as short as my trip was. When just using the tail bag the bungee cords were awesome for holding it on and it didn't budge at all.
Shi - May 19, 2009(Wilmington, DE)
Love the travel bag but it should be adapt to a woman's packing to be raised up and out to the sides (expanded). The bag is great for travel or 2 nights stay. You have to roll your clothes in order to fit couple day’s worth but it will work.
Perfect for that everyday commute
Steve Flanders - May 29, 2009(Imperial, MO)
I have replaced my regular laptop backpack with this tail bag. I easily fit, a pair of jeans, wind breaker pants, sweatshirt, laptop and power supply, wallet, sunglasses, flashlight and included rain cover without even unzipping the expansion slots. It fits perfect on my 08 FZ6. The bag looks great and people at work thought it was just a new soft side briefcase. Buy this tail bag!
Great Tail Bag
Beth - May 29, 2009(Norton, OH)
This bag fits my R6S great. Like someone else said, it doesn't add anything to the looks of the bike, but it's not ugly. My only issue is that when I've got my laptop in it, it has a tendency to move more when going over bumps and potholes. Nothing major, hasn't fallen off yet, but it will come forward onto my seat. Overall a great bag, glad I bought it!
Really like it
Sabine - July 20, 2009(Vancouver, BC)
Perfect to commute with a pair of shoes and change of clothes. Went shopping and expanded the bag, it's amazing how much you can fit. Goes well on my SV 650A. Thanks.
Cortech sport bag
Ricardo Balkcom - June 15, 2009(Sterling Heights, MI)
The bag fits good on the bike with its built in tie downs, Also very durable and lots of room for items. I highly recommend the Cortech sport tailbag for any rider. I have zx-14 08.
Richard - August 10, 2009(Tulsa, OK)
Easy on and off and looks great on my DRZ. Great day trip bag.
tail bag is the bomb...
matt - October 13, 2009(pdx, OR)
Same as my review of the bags. Buy this; you cannot go wrong with the package deal for less than $200...you can haul a ton of gear on a sportbike. As I write this, I am 800 miles into a 1500 mile, 10 day motorcycle camping road trip complete with tent, sleeping bag, etc...lashed on top of the tail bag! all on my 2008 baby Ninja 250!
Blake - October 07, 2009(Lynchburg, VA)
This bag fits my FZ6 really well. I had to use a bit of unconventional means to attach it due to the under the tail exhaust on the bike. However, after I got that figured out the tailbag stays put really well. The bag has plenty of space to take my lunch and other items too. I have not had to expand the sides of the bag yet even. So far mine is holding up great, and I would fully recommend this bag to someone looking for a tailbag.
Cortech - Sport Tailbag
George H - October 05, 2009(East Lansing, MI)
Looked around for something that would be large enough to carry just some basic tools/accessories and normal shoes/clothes... A tank bag is too small. This was the perfect size for day trips and around town.
Blue Cortech Sport Tail bag on plasma blue 2009 Kawasaki Versys
Mark E - October 05, 2009(Chubbuck, ID)
The color is a nice match with the paint on the bike. The bungie cords attach easily through the passenger hand holds and latch securely around the side reflectors. The attachment is secure and space is adequate for small shopping trips. The bag was shipped promptly and arrived in perfect condition.
Can't go wrong with this one!
Anthony Miller - October 12, 2009(Prescott Valley, AZ)
This is a great tail bag. I purchased this shortly after I got the matching mini-tank bag because I started going on longer rides on my Ninja. I decided against the saddle bags because I'm not sure how long I'll keep this bike before I go cruiser. Its expandable sides are really a nice feature. You can really get everything you need in this bag for a 1-3 day ride.
Cortech Sport Tailbag
Jeff P - October 26, 2009(Westfield, NJ)
Nice product, well made, fits well with lots of options for attachment. Does not move on the seat of my Triumph Bonneville.
Joseph - April 05, 2010(Fort Worth, TX)
Mounted this bag on the passenger seat of an 09 Kawasaki Versys with a Givi V-46 Top Case. Love the looks! The bag is large enough to hold my 3XL one piece rain suit, gloves, Bully Lock, eyeglass case and still have room in the main compartment. Very functional and stylish.
WILLIAM - May 07, 2010(SIMI VALLEY, CA)
After blowing most my cash on a new Aprilia, i was putting riding gear together on a budget. This was a decent buy, and exactly what i need for short trips, holds much more than i expected.
Mark B. - May 17, 2010(Coos Bay, OR)
I also liked the way the tail bag fits together with the saddlebags. I do not think I would use it with just bungees by itself. They have no protection on rubbing without the padding for saddlebags.
Perfect for V-Strom
Steve - May 24, 2010(vail, AZ)
I use this on a DL650. It fits perfectly on the stock luggage rack. The built-in bungees and hooks attach nicely to the luggage rack and the passenger foot pegs. I've been using this on my daily commute for two months with no durability issues. It attaches/detaches quickly and doubles as a handy carry bag for clothes, supplies, equipment, whatever. No issues with it staying securely connected to the bike at freeway speed - I forget it's there.
David K - June 04, 2010(Soddy Daisy, TN)
I purchased this tailbag along with the Cortech Sport Saddlebags last month. It is made well and has a surprising amount of space. I was able to pack a 17” laptop, a pair of (my size 14!) shoes, a hat, and still had room to spare! It comes with a shoulder strap you can use to carry the bag with you once you arrive at your destination. Great product - highly recommend it.
Robert - June 21, 2010(Hanford, CA)
Bought this bag for my Kawasaki Versys even though I had the hard luggage, I found this bag is very handy. When expanded, it will fit my 15” MacBook Pro with ease. It's great for everyday and long trips. Very secure and durable.
Cortech Sport tailbag
Dan - June 21, 2010(BAYTOWN, TX)
Its the perfect bag for my Yamaha raider. Sleek design, not too big and not too small. Has expansion zippers on side pockets if you need extra room. Comes with its own rain cover, extra carrying straps, multiple pockets inside. Has a wetsuit bottom so it doesn’t slid on your seat. The bungee chord hooks are a perfect fit on the bungee knobs (Don’t forget to order the knobs for a great custom look/fit).
Joyce - August 09, 2010(Falmouth, ME)
This is a great tailbag, it is easy to use, easy to mount and take off, and versatile in it's expansion. Holds my laptop, portfolio and a small purse. I highly recommend it.
Cortech Sport Tailbag
Tyler - August 20, 2010(Rudyard, MI)
Paired this with a set of Cortech Sport Saddlebags for my Suzuki GSXR 750 and they rarely leave my bike. I love how easily it attached to the saddle bags and how much space it can all hold if I want to use all the expansions. The extra pockets are handy for all the little items (phone, extra keys, towel for the visor, etc). My bike has the eliminated tail so it was a little tricky at first to find a place to attach it, but using saddle bags straps in conjunction with two of the bungee straps from this the thing never moves! Definitely happy with my purchase!
GREAT TO GO WITH SADDLEBAGS
onenolney - August 31, 2010(toto, MO)
this is a perfect fit with the saddlebags, gotta have them both, read my review in the saddlebags... good room and nice zip out sides.
For Yamaha Raider

Got this based on pics only. Really liked it. Not overly large but will hold enough clothing for a two day trip no problem.
Cortech Sport tail bag on Ducati F1098 Streetfighter
Mike - October 27, 2010(Louisville, KY)
I used the included bungee cords and strapped it down at the passenger footpeg brackets in the front and the license plate bracket in the rear. Worked great. Jumped on and rode 375 miles to Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. Rock solid at triple digit speeds for extended periods. And if you are ever ANYWHERE near Birmingham, by all means, take the time togo to the Barber museum. It is sensational by any standard. Right off I-20 on the east side of town.
Seatpack fits my needs
Leonard L. - April 13, 2011(OAKLEY, CA)
I replaced an earlier version I used for so many years that the fabric holding the zippers sun bleached to red from black. The reason for replacing it, however, was that the elastic cords had lost their strength and it proved too complicated to replace them. I took the opportunity to change to the bright blue color for my blue Bandit. The size and easy opening accommodates my gym bag well, without having to use the expansions and each pocket can carry a pint water bottle. For three day weekend rides, the use of expansion was sufficient for clothes changes and walking shoes for the entire weekend. The pack is stable on the passenger seat and does not sag on the sides if not expanded. Inside pockets in zippered top provide a place for a small note pad for trip notes.
Kirby M. - May 11, 2011(Willow Spring, NC)
This bag has exceeded all of my expectations. It fits great, looks good, stays put, has plenty of room to hold about anything you would want to carry on your sportbike. Don't hesitate to purchase this bag if you are considering getting one, there won't be any disappointments with this one.
Rich - June 08, 2011(Minneapolis, MN)
Used on 2009 Ninja 650, great bag - it would work well using it alone but I added the saddle bags with it and the System works extremely well together. I have no complaints about this product
MarkB818 - July 07, 2011(mocksville, NC)
I have to say, this is a very nice piece. Bought it to match a tank bag I purchased, it fits better than any other luggage I have ever had. The overall quality is excellent....highly recommend this product !!!
I ordered the wrong item, it's still a good one!
Sara H. - August 22, 2011(Nashville, TN)
I had meant to order a tank bag that attaches magnetically, but my husband sent me the link to this item and swore this was what he wanted, so I ordered it. When we received it, we realized it was indeed the wrong item, but like all other Cortech items, it is true to its description, and looks even better in person! Would highly recommend any Cortech product based on the name alone. They make great products. Simple as that.
Easy to mount...
chris - September 07, 2011(Camarillo, CA)
The one thing that I liked about this bag was how easy it was to mount. It holds a lot of stuff.
Paul - September 08, 2011(Fairfield, OH)
I use this on my 2007 Honda VTX1300R along with Willie and Max 'The Hooker' - perfect combination. Tailbag is just enough room for the stuff I need to take and the pad underneath keeps the passenger seat scuff-free. Highly recommend.
Great bag with multiple uses
Will M. - November 04, 2011(Washington, NC)
I originally purchased the tail bag for my Concours. I commute to work on the Concours and use the Sport Tail Bag as a brief case, of sorts. However, on a recent trip to Charleston, SC on our Goldwing, it came in handy as extra storage that didn't require repositioning passenger arm rests to gain access. Great design; very sturdy construction.
Ron - November 04, 2011(Geneva, FL)
Got this bag for my Ducati Monster, it fits the tail great, and holds everything I need.
Great Tail Bag
Hawaii Honda Owner - November 04, 2011(Honolulu, HI)
Easy to attach and I love the seat padding. Holds my laptop and rain gear with plenty of room to expand by unzipping the side zippers to extend the bag capacity. Easier to put on and take off then my backpack and more comfortable riding without the backpack.
Would be happy to buy Cortech again
RT - November 16, 2011(North Edwards, CA)
Only 1 weekend trip of 480 miles with tail bag and saddlebags so far. Quality look to the bags, the tail bag holds its shape well. Attachment system seems to work well enough on my SV650. Attachment buckles for saddlebags are hidden in fabric sleeves on the saddlebags which looks neat but makes me take extra care to make sure both sides of the buckles are engaged securely. Prompt shipping from Motorcycle Superstore.
Megan - September 26, 2011(Centreville, VA)
I got this bag mainly for riding to work. It fits my change of clothes and shoes great! The bungees work great, the bag doesn't shift around at all on my ninja 650r. Been caught in the rain several times, and the included rain cover works great~ everything stays dry.

David - April 20, 2012(Hawley, TX)
This is the second time purchasing this bag. My wife and I bought this bag for both our bikes. She has an 09 Yamaha FZ 600R and I have 02 BMW R1150R. I went back to Cortech for their quality! Large, expandable and secure luggage. Easy to strap to bikes, and stays put. It has a rain cover that won't blow off while riding. Love this tail bag. It is very durable!!!
Quality Product, Pants Beware
Bulysses - July 17, 2012(Kenvil, NJ)
A great, well made stylish bag. I put it on the pillion seat on my Ulysses and it looks perfect. Since its such a tall bike, getting my leg over it with this bag on has caused some issues, mainly with my pants. I have blown the crotch out of 2 pairs swinging my leg over the bike with it on. I don't have the agility to do the straight leg, flying kick over the seat I see a lot of guys do and I am tall enough to swing my leg over it. I just have to make sure my pants are hiked all the way up.
Dale - July 24, 2012(Tumwater, WA)
I've had the Cortech Sport Saddlebags for some time and have really appreciated them. Just added the Cortech Sport Tailbag to complete the set and used them all on a 1200 trip. The Tailbag is a snap to use with the Saddlebags. Lots of room and allows easy access. Couldn't be happier.
Excellent Day Bag
Richard M. - March 07, 2012(Memphis, TN)
I bought this for long day trips on my BMW R1150R. I was looking for something large enough to hold rain gear, gloves, tablet computer and a soft drink or two. This has been near perfect. I've never come close to filling it and I gather from other reviews it would be perfect for the occasional overnighter. Exactly what I needed. Very, very pleased.
cortech sports tail bag
Trish - July 08, 2011(Elizabeth, PA)
Bungy cords made it easy to install on tail of bike. Holds in place well because of non-slip pad (included). Rain cover keeps tail bag dry. Plenty of room...was able to smoosh 2 women's riding jackets inside. Looking forward to buying matching side bags in near future.

It is a quality bag that not only has looks but function. Doesn't overwhelm the looks of the bike. Product was shipped promptly. Kudos to Motorcycle Superstore.

paul h - August 09, 2010(chicopee, MA)
excellent quality and fit, bag is not waterproof as per tag on bag so be sure to use supplied rain cover
Andrew - September 14, 2010(Princeton, IN)
Got this for my FZ6 and mounting was very easy. The bag fits very well to the bike and looks nice. It's got plenty of storage for what I needed it for (extra visor, rag, water, tool kit, etc.). It comes with a waterproof outer bag, but I have not been able to test it out yet. My initial feeling was that the waterproof bag could easily be blown off, but I could be wrong.
Barry P. - September 23, 2010(kamloops, BC)
Bought this tail bag and matching saddle bags to use on my 08 Busa. They need a few minutes of work with the straps to get set up but once adjusted the fit to the saddle bags is great. I use a pair of short bungee cords through the double bottom cloth to hook on to the 4 points on the bike. Good bag for the dollar.
Sport bike purse
Chris - July 07, 2010(Huntley, IL)
Other than all my riding friends calling it a "purse" the tailbag is great. Expandable pockets really can open up to get quite a bit of grocery shopping done, including fitting a gallon of milk (turned on its side)!! Neoprene pad (removable) under the bag ensure slip-free placement. I'm an aggressive rider and the bag does not prohibit ANY regular riding style for me. Great buy!
jon - May 10, 2010(centereach, NY)
I have an 08 zx-14 and the bags fit great on the bike. I use it for commuting to and from work. The bag does not move even when riding at high speeds. Only thing I noticed is the cords started scuffing the paint where they touched the body so I put clear vinyl protective tape on those spots, but I think this would have happened no matter which type of bag I had gotten. I would and have recommended this bag to others, and would definitely buy another one.
Used on '09 KLR650
John - May 07, 2010(Edison, NJ)
Excellent quality / finish very durable. Fits perfectly on my KLR out of the box. Have the bungees connected to license plate frame and passenger peg guards. Had this bag loaded up with 20-25~ Lb of gear and it didn't move an inch while travelling over extremely bumpy terrain. Bag has plenty of room for essentials and is adequate for a day trip. Managed to fit 2 pairs of pants, socks, 2 shirts, boots, a liter bottle of soda, and some snacks in it with the bag fully expanded. Attaches / Detaches quickly. Currently hunting female snap-buckle connectors so I can attach and detach it without fiddling with bungee cords. (Bag has 4 male snap-buckle connectors attached which are meant to be used with the saddlebag counterpart.)
Hiro - March 03, 2010(Atlanta, GA)
The bag looks great on my GSXR 600. There is a lack of places to attach the hooks if you have a fender eliminator, but the bag stays on just fine lashed to the passenger footpegs thanks to the non-slip bottom. The bag overall has a lot of space and can also be thrown over your shoulder when you don't want to leave the bag on your bike. Great bag, highly recommend it!
Dave - March 08, 2010(Brooklyn Park, MN)
Very good bag. This is my 3rd one. The zippers tend to wear out after 1 or 2 years. But I keep buying them because of all the nice features... God Speed
Cortech Sport Tailbag
Gary E Trull - October 13, 2009(Fridley, MN)
I like the design, material and finish on this item. The expandable bag ends are a plus. It fits nicely on the rear seat of my BMW K75 and is easy to tie down with the included bungee cords. Can't tell about the durability as I have not used yet.

jah r - October 05, 2009(Toronto, ON)
I bought this bag about a month ago and so far it's served me well. I carry my laptop with accessories and a lunch to work every day and it all fits in with room to spare. I've even fit two laptops with accessories in there and one of them was a 17" laptop. The expandable side zippers are great to create the extra room when needed and get rid of it when you don't. The overall quality is very good. I'm sure it will last for many riding years to come and I’m very happy with my purchase.
Pretty Darn good...
Chris - October 08, 2009(Bellingham, WA)
Just went on a 1700 mile trip with this bag. Great bag, easy to strap on with the built in bungee cords. Can fit about 2 maybe 3 nights worth of clothes in it. But I used it for laptop and electronic supplies, worked great! Fit is really nice, comes with a rain guard which I ended up using. When taking off the bike, works like a luggage bag with handle. Great price for what you get.
phil denk - August 21, 2009(kansas city, MO)
...after years of bungee cords and straps went looking for the right tailbag for my dual sport...had seen the cortech tailbag on sport bikes and thought i'd give it a shot...the dimensions are a good fit and the elastic cords give lots of options for attachment...i carry a small essentials box, a small boxed set of wrenches, extra cables, shifter and levers, a tire repair bag, tubes, tow strap, chain lube and an extra pair of gloves,...and with the sides extended i can carry extra water and those all important trail snacks...highly recommend this bag for all d/s bikes with a luggage rack...

John - July 10, 2009(Palm Harbor, FL)
A very nice addition to the saddlebags I got at the same time. I would like to find or make something to protect the bodywork when using the shock cords to secure the tail bag.
Suits its purpose
Elizabeth - April 17, 2009(Vancouver, WA)
I like it. The non-skid kept it from moving at all. It fit my R6 perfect without any adjustments. It doesn't do the look of the bike any favors, but it doesn't look too dorky either. I prefer it to wearing a heavy backpack. I can take it on/off in seconds.

Great bag. I use it on my Suzuki DR 650 dual purpose and Yamaha FZ1 bikes. Great features, looks good and easily detaches for carry into my workplace. The only mild/moderate concern is the potential durability of the zippers. Works well, just doesn't feel nearly as 'solid' as other backpack/bag zippers that I am used to. Overall, I would recommend. I just hope that the zippers are rugged enough for a few years of daily use.
Awesome bag, needs a little tweaking
Nate Holt - February 17, 2009(Everett, WA)
I'm riding a 2002 Suzuki SV 650 and this bag rocks. It fits the passenger seat well, has a non-skid pad and has expansion zippers. The bag fits a change of clothes or two and my laptop computer so I say it's the perfect size. The only problem is I'm paranoid about relying on bungee cords to hold the bag to the bike or possibly abrading the plastic. A couple of feet of nylon webbing, a couple buckles some hand stitching and 2 hours it is solid. Love the bag.
Travis G - January 16, 2009(Cincinnati, OH)
I needed a bag that could fit my sleeping bag, tent, lantern and propane. This did it all with a bit of room to spare. It hooks up easy and so far no scratches to paint. I recommend this tail bag to anyone looking for a nice product for the money. The rain cover works great. My only slight gripe was the zippers seem like they might not last but no issues so far, they have healed every time. I give it a 4 on durability since i am not sure if they will still be in good shape in a year. I plan on camping a lot next spring so time shall tell.
Tony Armolea - October 02, 2008(Meridian, ID)
I use this bag every day, to and from work. It works great. I have a 06' FZ6 and it looks great on it.

Dave Forbes - October 16, 2008(Richmond, VA)
Excellent luggage the second tail bag I bought within a year lots of space easy to use on all bikes including cruisers.
Matt - September 23, 2008(APO AP, AP)
I bought this bag to carry small quantities of books and supplies back & forth to work without the hassle of a backpack/messenger bag. The bag is near perfect. It attaches to my bike, HD Softail Deluxe, easily and securely. It is also easy to carry around, like a small briefcase, stands up like a briefcase, and the hard rubber handle is perfect. The material and zippers are heavy duty. I would prefer the top opening and inner compartment to be just a bit larger for a standard size binder (without using the expandable sides). I would also like the side pouches to be larger than, at least as large as the side of the bag. It appears they were made smaller for looks, which sacrificed practicality and storage space. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone.

Fernando Morua - March 10, 2008(San Jose Costa Rica, PR)
I got one after doing plenty of research and I am very happy. I am using in my Pegaso 650 Trial with no issues to attach it and detach it in a minute. Very good quality, good capacity by using the expanded mode and looks very well on the bike.
Great tailbag for a sportbike!
Jameson - March 05, 2008(Anchorage, AK)
I've had this bag through the last two riding seasons and I love it! No signs of wear yet; very well constructed. It is very roomy thanks to the expandable zip out sides, and sits very securely with the built in bungee cords and neoprene pad. Only nitpick is that the opening is a bit too small which makes it a challenge to fit in things like laptops or books.
Very good bag
Brent - February 28, 2008(Santa Fe, NM)
The bag fits well on my SV650S once I removed the rear hooks and just tied loops in the bungees. My only complaint with the bag is that two of the plastic zipper pulls have broken off when using the bag is cold weather (20 degrees). Otherwise, the bag has been fantastic and can carry a full size laptop once expanded.
tom - January 02, 2008(freeport, IL)
Very roomy, attaches with built in bungee cords to my klr650, made well, good looking. I am happy with it.
Great all-around tailbag
JC Golding - April 30, 2008(Phoenix, AZ)
I have had this tailbag for about a month. I take it along when commuting back and forth to work mostly. So far I have had no major issues with it and have found it to be very useful. It fits great on my bike (Ninja 500R) and has plenty of space for extra helmet shield, clothes, tools, etc. It is quick and easy to attach and detach. The shoulder strap is very useful too, although it could be a bit more padded, heavier duty (although it would take up more storage space if that were the case). The hooks on the shoulder strap that clip on to the bag are plastic and are sometimes a struggle to get on and off as the clip part of the hook is a little funky - at least on mine. Nothing major, though. I am very happy with this bag overall and would buy it again. I highly recommend it.

Great for back & forth from home to work...
Works Great for me
Ryan - January 05, 2009(Biloxi, MS)
At first I thought about returning it because I thought it was too small and I would not be using it much. Well, was I wrong. Fits on my FZ6 fine with minor adjustments to the bungee cords. It holds a lot more than I thought. To top it off, if things get crowded, I just use the zippers on each side to expand the bag and it grows with space. I love it now. It also has side pockets for smaller items. I keep my safety vest (for riding on base), towel, and balaclava in these pockets. I also have a clear visor in the main compartment when day turns to night. It also comes with a waterproof cover. I don't think the waterproof cover will go on when the bag is expanded though. Bottomline: Great product and I'm glad I got it.
Dane - April 01, 2009(Cheshire, MA)
I used this tail bag with the sport saddlebags (tribag system) on my 2007 SV650. They look great on it, just what I was looking for. They hold a lot of stuff, they have more room than I thought they would. I'm going to visit friends when there camping and I feel they will hold enough stuff for a couple days. The fit was tight, the straps should be longer. With some adjustment I got them to work. Great bags.
Perfect addition to side pair
Michael - July 22, 2009(Walla Walla, WA)
I have a 2008 Versys and didn't want the hard cases and rack that are necessary for mounting. This bag set fit perfectly on the bike and just completed 1800 miles without a problem. Easy on and off with no shifting during the ride. The tail bag connected easily and complimented the whole look. The bags held 6 days of supplies and I didn't even expand the set.
Good tail bag
David Pate - July 22, 2009(Fayetteville, NC)
Over all I am pleased with the tail bag. I had to do a little modifying to fit my Kawasaki KLR 650 but nothing drastic. Has enough space for an overnight trip.

I used it several times and really think it’s Top Notch; I recommend it.
Michael - September 23, 2010(Lander, WY)
Holds a fair amount of gear (lunch, warm layer, extra gloves, rain gear and tools) for day tripping. Appears well made and fits my DL650 V-Strom well. Took a while to figure out how to best attach it to the bike, but once it's on its stayed in place with no problems.
Suzi - February 08, 2011(st. george, UT)
I got the blue one. It's a wee smaller than I thought but great for getting small grocery items, carrying books, or extra gear like gloves, visor, extra sweater, etc.
I have been very happy with it. My only dig is that the side zipper pockets are very narrow. Probably only fit a cell phone, or something long and thin like a check book, wallet, small bungee, or small Maglight. Overall I am quite pleased!
Fits My Laptop
Doghouse Riley - September 16, 2011(Los Angeles, CA)
I bought this bag on a recommendation because I was looking for something that would fit a 17" laptop. This bag totally fits the bill. It easily takes my laptop with plenty of room to spare.
Chris - October 20, 2011(Bethlehem, GA)
The bag fits well on the back seat, and it mounts securely to the bike. I have ridden at 65 mph with the rain cover on, and it has never given me a reason to think it will be pulled off by the wind, and it keeps the bag perfectly dry even in a downpour. The only fault I can find is that the quality on my bag seems to be lacking a bit. One of the seams on a non-crucial part started to come unraveled, but it was nothing that couldn't be fixed with a needle and thread.
weather proof the bag
steve - October 18, 2010(beatty, NV)
If you really want it rain proof buy some quality spray on tent/backpack/sleeping bag weather proofing and it will solve that little problem.
Love this bag. Second one I have owned.
Martin - July 12, 2012(Seattle, WA)
My old bag is still good but the zipper on top was getting messed up after about 5 years of use. I also lost my rain cover so I ordered a new one. The 4 tie down hooks work on just about any bike. The rain cover works fine when you remember to cinch it down :) Cortech is great bang for the buck.
Jared - March 16, 2012(Fort Wayne, IN)
Got this for my ZX6R. It seems to be very well built and looks great! Only complaint is it uses elastic round straps with plastic hooks to secure. I've seen this secured under the rear seat, but I will have to change them and use flat nylon straps.
Good bag; disappointed with the bungees and zippers
Walter - September 29, 2010(Sikeston, MO)
I bought this bag three years ago for my ZZR. I used it almost daily since I commute on my bike. It fit on my bike well and I liked the way it expands at the sides. It could swallow my laptop bag with my computer and accessories and still have room for a book, my wallet and a few other small things. The non-slip pad works well enough, it kept the bag on my bike even a couple of times when I forgot to hook up the bungees. I'm disappointed with the durability because the zippers have recently come apart and a hole has developed in one corner. The non-slip pad started coming apart soon after I got it. However, considering how much I've used this bag over the three years I've had, I guess it held up pretty well.
Cortech Sport Tailbag
JW - July 02, 2010(Sherman, TX)
I purchased this bag to replace the roll-style bag on my cruiser. Mounting was simple and effective and it holds well in the wind. Its capacity surprised me, being greater than I expected. I am even able to carry a half helmet as well as a half-cover in it.
more than just a sport bike bag
bruce - May 24, 2010(nevada, IA)
That's right. I use it on my 1600 Vulcan cruiser. I know it was designed more specifaclly for sport bike use, and I believe that it wouls serve that function as good or better than most of the other products out there. it turns out just to be the perfect bag to strap onto my luggage rack. You can't fit a helmet into it, but that was not what it was designed for. As far as the many other things you may want to carry along on your journey, this is the perfect detachable travelling bike bag. It is quality construction. It has a reasonable degree of expandability, and it just plain looks good. I recomment it.
Mike - July 31, 2009(Seattle, WA)
I used this tailbag with and without the matching saddlebags and it was great. When used with the saddlebags it attaches to them and becomes like one piece. Alone it attaches with 2 bungees and held very steady for me on a R6.
John Zimsky - April 21, 2009(Chesterfield, VA)
Read other reviews that the bag wasn't as rigid as some people would have liked. Could see that when I mounted it on the bike. Overall very pleased, sure does hold a lot of my junk without being the size of a small house on the back of the bike.
Just what I was looking for
Charles S. - May 18, 2009(Hornbrook, CA)
The size is exactly the same as the passenger seat on my Magna. It is easy to attach and remove. Although I have had it for only a few weeks, it appears to be well made and finished. I wasn't really interested in being able to expand it, but it is more useful than I would have expected. Good value.
Ryan - January 21, 2009(Biloxi, MS)
Good purchase but it doesn't quite fit the way I had hoped. Maybe it's just me. I'll work on it some more and see how things turn out. Overall, it's a good bag, just takes a bit to get a good secure position on my bike.
phred - November 21, 2008(Memphis, TN)
Well made with nice features. Plastic hook part makes some contact with paint.
Travis - December 03, 2008(clemson, SC)
This bag quickly attaches to and is removed from my SV650--it only takes a few seconds. It is heavy duty and can be expanded so I am satisfied with my purchase.
Morgan - September 29, 2008(Portland, OR)
I've used this tail bag for two 20 mile trips already and it works great. I've stuffed it to it's max and it really stays on the back of my '07 Suzuki GSX-R 600. If you try to move it by tilting each side it moves but that is only if you have the bag extended. It hasn't fallen off and I feel like it is secure behind me so I have no worries when on the freeway. The color (blue) also goes great with my bike which is also blue and white.
Sonny - June 24, 2008(Phoenix, AZ)
Did exactly what it was suppose to do, and with no issues.
Nice fit on my Triumph Tiger 1050i
Gary - May 20, 2010(Albuquerque, NM)
I'm a bike commuter and was tired of carrying around my backpack, especially on 90 degree summer days, so I bought this. I was a little concerned about my laptop fitting, but with a little maneuvering it slides right in. To have the laptop fit I do have to open one of the expansion zippers on the side though.
It's easy enough to get on and off my Triumph with the factory panniers, and it doesn't look like a suitcase when you carry it around at work. The shoulder strap is a nice addition. There's not much in the way of organization in the main compartment. It's pretty much one big space, but it is amazingly roomy given its small size, and at the price it's hard to beat.
A bit more storage for your motorcycle
Nate B. - August 31, 2011(Harrisburg, PA)
I have this tail bag installed on my Suzuki GSXR 750 '07. Overall, it looks pretty good. The blue, more or less, matches well with the blue & white bike design. Not as large as some other bags but worth considering.
Kevin - August 31, 2011(Houston, TX)
Good bag. Lots of features.
Samantha - June 08, 2011(Kamloops, BC)
I love this bag! I have a Ninja 250r and it was really hard to find a little bag that you could still fit a ton of stuff in it. It has great little compartments inside and on the side so easy to keep things organized. The bag is easy to take on and off the bike and has a great little handle for packing it around, when needed.
Cortech Tail Bag
Larry - October 04, 2010(Cross Lanes, WV)
Good fit and finish. I normally buy a soft tackle box from a local sporting goods store, because of the cost and number of pockets that are part of those type of bags. It is usually a challenge mounting those bags, however. The Cortech bag attaches and detaches easily and will be a lot better for day trips and multi day trips because it can be taken off and used for an overnight bag. Also, it comes with a neat rain cover.
not a bad bag at all
Timur - October 18, 2010(APO, AE)
Perfect for what I needed, the bag is easy on - easy off and fits my bike very well. My only problem really is the bulkiness of my rain gear so my bag is mostly full from the get go. Still, good product, my only suggestion would be adjustable bungee cords as I have a little slack to deal with.
Bill E. - October 09, 2009(Webster, NY)
I bought this for commuting. The bag works great and will fit a 14" widescreen laptop no problem. I'm pretty sure a 15" would fit as well as there is room to spare. The pack seems to be good quality and is easy to secure to the bike. It may be worthy of 5 stars on all counts, but I am a new rider and have not owned a lot of gear to compare to.
very nice tailbag
Christian - May 12, 2008(97032, OR)
I love this tailbag. I took it on a three day trip and had plenty of room to put my rain gear and a change of clothes for 3 days. The bag fit ok on my bike, but I did tie a few knots on the ends of the bungies in order for it to fit tighter.
Lori - September 23, 2008(Wantagh, NY)
The quality is great but it doesn't fit my Ninja that well. Since there is no place to strap it onto in the back of the bike, the bag is sitting a little forward. It is impossible for me to swing my leg over the bike with the bag on. It holds less than I thought it would. I put rain gear, pair of gloves and a jacket liner in and it is full. I was hoping to use it for a weekend getaway. It's still better than a knapsack.
really love the whole set!
J Musumeci - August 09, 2007(Frederick, MD)
I used to have a set of saddlebags for my old Katana - and I can't believe how much better these are! The tail pack doubles as my workday briefcase, cleans up with soap and water, fits my 15" MacBook Pro, and doesn't mess up either the seat or the solo cowl on my VFR800 - and the addition of the saddlebags looks great, stays put, and allowed me to go camping (with an added tank bag and a bedroll/tent bungee-netted on) for 9 days w/o needing to do laundry! I love this luggage!
Cortech Sport Tail Bag
JC - August 09, 2007(Raleigh, GA)
Overall I'm impressed with the quality and capacity of this tailbag. Has a nice sleek look that mates well to my '02 Bandit. Expandable sides allow me to fit larger items such as my laptop without issue. Lots of compartments to hold my stuff and the bag goes on and off easily. This has me looking at the matching saddle bags now.
Biggest gripe so far though regards the bungees. I've adjusted and re-adjusted them but the rears don't always want to stay attached. The bag will move some on

I have the tailbag and the saddlebags. They work great together and fit extremely well on the bike. I have an 06 GSX600f. I am able to pack enough for several days and have room left over. Very dependable at high speeds as well. The only problem I have had is that the rain cover from the tailbag blew off on a trip. Saddlebag covers held tight though. Overall a very good product.

This is a nice little bag, pretty sporty looking, and well-made too. Although it is a bit smaller than my last tailbag (J.R.-Velocity), and once you get used to a certain capacity, it's hard to go down. The dimensions should be listed on the site.. or at least tell you how many bottles of beer you can fit in it. If Tour Master sent me the saddlebags for free, then I'd definitely give it that coveted 5th star.
