No more bungees on the passenger seat!
Been waiting to find these on sale. Jumped on them as soon as they did! So glad I did. Excellent bags. Big enough to carry my foul weather gear with room to spare. Installed easily and look great!

Looks Nice, Poor Performance
I bought these saddlebags intending to use them for my 2 hour weekly commute. I had a bit of trouble fitting them on evenly and straight on my Ninja 250 (08' model). Anyway, I had them on well and on the exhaust side, I had the bag well above the 2'' clearance. I go on my ride, then 2 hours later I find that all my clothes have been seared by the heat and have turned yellow/black from the exhaust heat and the plastic that had melted. Some heat shield. :/ I honestly don’t know why that happened. I followed the specified instructions and my saddlebags were ruined. Even the left saddlebag for some reason is developing a hole. Right now its the size of a quarter, but it looks like it will get bigger. Poor quality is all I have to say about these bags. They look nice, but no way I would ever buy this again. Really disappointed with Cortech and am sadly, out $115.

sport bags rock!
Only bad, is rain covers blew off (lost) first ride used them, guess they need to be on really really tight! Excellent quality, the logos are highly reflective...a lot of room in these when expanded. So good, my brother bought the same set. Buy these! They are a little confusing when used with the tail bag/setting up for the first time, but once you figure it out, they are VERY slick and easy to mount and dismount. Very secure on bike once adjusted. They work much better on bikes that don't have the flared out diamond shaped rear plastics like my Ninja, but they still work on it.

Red Sport Saddlebags
I have a red sport bike and these bags look great and hold all my rain gear. They were expensive but I liked the color variety and the red increases my visibility from the rear of the bike. I have had them for about two (2) months and have gone approx. 200 miles with them and they are sagging in a bit. I attached a bungie cord across the top to try and bring them up. I received two (2) pads/straps with the bags that the instructions failed to indicate what they are for???

Nice Bags
Bought these bags for my Yamaha FZ6 after reading some reviews online. Was worried about the heat from the underseat exhaust damaging the bags, but have had no problems at all with them. Can fit 2 sets of liners from my jackets and pants in one side. Easy to mount.

Left-over parts
I couldn't figure out how you were supposed to put this thing on. But it took little effort to devise an attachment system that is simple and quite secure. The bags aren't big enough to hold a full-face helmet, but they're quite roomy. And they really do look good. They complement the lines of a sport bike.

Holds lots of stuff, but not very durable.
These bags are pretty good in that they hold a ton of stuff, expand and are still small and have a nice visual profile. However, the material they are made from is paper thin and both of my bags tore along the bottom seam after having them on the bike for just two weeks. The insert that maintains the bags structure is the only strong part of these bags. I would not recommend.

Great produce at good price
Purchased the saddlebags and tailbag for use on a Burgman 400. Saddlebags mounted after installation of two attachment points on the burgman. Used them on a six hundred mile trip into the Adirondacks. Worked great and removal and attachment is easy. Plenty of room for clothes etc. for two people.

Cortech Saddlebags
The Cortech saddlebags came well packed, with limited instructions. I put them on the bike and was impressed to how well they adapt to your bike. Mounting straps are adjustable. The bags ride well on the bike and can hold more than they appear since they unzip on the ends to add extra room in the bags. Included is a rain cover for each side in case you need them. All in all for the money the quality is fantastic. I would definitely recommend these saddlebags to anyone owning a sport bike with the need to haul stuff but not wanting the permanent (expensive) hard cases on their bike!

Cortech Sport Saddlebag
I bought these for times when I need extra luggage. The big positives of these bags is the ease of installing and removing, as well as that they should fit nearly any bike. I did not get the top bag that matches these because I have another brand already that I can't remove very easily. If I wasn't already using that bag, I would definitely have got the matching top bag.

I just used these saddlebags on a trip to Monterey and they were great. I also had the matching tailbag and mounted together they were solid. Plenty of pockets and expandability.

Excellent travel bags
I have a 2008 Versys and didn't want the hard cases and rack that are necessary for mounting. This bag set fit perfectly on the bike and just completed 1800 miles without a problem. Easy on and off with no shifting during the ride. The bags held 6 days of supplies and I didn't even expand the set.

Cortech Sport Tailbag worth the money
I purchased these bags for my 2008 Yamaha FZ-6. I was a bit apprehensive due to the fact I have a dual under tail exhaust. Wasn't sure of the heat protection on the sides of the bags. After a 3 hour ride down to the gulf coast I had no questions about it. The bags didn't even get warm from the pipes. Plus, the amount of stuff I could put in these before I even tried to expand them was huge. I had a weekends worth of clothes, a pair of shoes, flip flops, and all of my toiletries in there and didn't expand them. Also, I couldn't tell they were on the bike when I was riding. These bags are definitely worth the money spent if you are taking a weekend getaway ride.

I got these for a 2008 ZX14. The fit over the tail is tight. The wide tail section made it a little hard to fit.
In the end I got it setup well and it comes off the bike in seconds. The included straps were all I needed and the amount of stuff I can get into the bags is great. I also got the matching tail bag. This is a very good set to have for sport touring.

Great product
These are easy to mount, well designed with the double zipper top and seem to retain their shape quite well when empty. They look so good on my red Superhawk that I'm tempted to leave them on all the time, as they greatly improve the utility of my motorcycle. The only rub lies in the fact that the soft rubber protective material that rides against the red plastic below the seat leaves black marks as it abrades during normal use. The black marks are easily removed with a little Turtle Wax on a rag, leaving no trace, but I wonder how it will all look after 10,000 or so miles. I'm thinking that some clear window tinting film applied to the plastic would protect it from abrasion over the long haul, as defiantly intend to tour with these. They are a very well designed product, and when used in conjunction with my Ventura rack and bag system and my 21L Cortec tankbag allow me to carry enough gear to camp comfortably, and look good doing it. On a crotch rocket. Four stars for sure.

Excellent Product
These saddlebags fit perfectly on my Suzuki SV650. They are durable, secure on the bike, spacious, and easy to use even while sitting on the bike at a traffic light, for instance. I have never been disappointed by any Cortech product - no exception here.

Cortech Sport Saddle Bags
I bought these in light of a weeklong trip. Let me say that they were great! They held 2 pairs of jeans, 6 shirts, razor & toiletries, an extra pair of shoes, and a few other misc. things. Not the biggest or best bags but definitely a good buy. The only downside to them is when it rains and I got hit pretty hard! 4 hours of rain with the rain covers on but they don’t really cover the inside of the bag (the part against the bike) so water may/can get in. Only a few things were wet in one of my bags (luckily we were headed home at the time). Other than that THESE ARE GREAT BAGS and very easy to remove and mount. They look great on my fz6 too!!! I’d say they’re a winner

Saddlebag for SV-1000
Don't let the picture fool you. These bags are good sized but still look good on a sport bike. Each bag can hold two 2-Liters of soda, 3 if you expand the bag and have plenty of room left over. Has padding that maintains shape even when empty. Bags are good for an overnight or weekend trip.

The bags fit great on my 08 Suzuki SV650. Plenty of clearance from the muffler. Expanded(one side) it fits a 12-pack of beer and a couple of frozen pizzas! The rain bag could of been designed better. The rain bag is sized to fit with the bag expanded, so if you don't have it expanded and your muffler is 2 inches below your saddle bag forget about putting it on. Not bad for the price.

Great Bags
I bought these because any hard bags I found were too expensive and didn't look good on my old CBR 1000 F. These bags are easy to mount, and they are secure. In addition they hold their shape well, so even partially filled they don't flap around. The expandable panel gives you LOTS of room to pack clothes, etc. for a trip. When you get to where you are going, they easily dismount, velcro together and you can carry them like a suitcase. Very handy. I can easily pack clothes and toiletries for a five day trip, leaving my tank bag to handle all the gear I need on the road (rainsuit, raincovers, gloves, phone, etc. etc.). Great product, and well made.

2200 miles in a week
I bought the Cortech Sport Saddlebags along with the matching tail bag for my 2000 Honda CBR F4. I put 2200 miles on in a week and had no problems at all. A little awkward putting it on the first time but after 2 or 3 tries it now takes maybe 5 minutes and I can get it on or off. All the zippers held up and there was plenty of room. I would strongly recommend this product.

Nice Bags
These bags mount very easily on my Suzuki SV1000S, and the neoprene backing seems like it would really protect the paint. Once you do the initial adjustments, they are very quick on, quick off. The zippers seem a bit cheap, but I have not really used the bags that long, so they may stand up OK. The rain protectors are all but useless, but that was to be expected. Overall I'm pleased.

Cortec sprt bags
I bought these for a an 09 650 Kawi KLR, and I wasn't sure if they were going to work, due to the exposed muffler, right below the cargo rack. I slid the bags forward a bit on the rear of the seat and they work fine, though this is a bit more forward that I would like. I recently bought a carbon fiber heat shield, and that looks like it'll solve this problem. These smaller bags triangular shaped bags are great, well constructed, easy to open and close (put the larger end forward) and are just the right size for the KLR. I almost went with the bigger square bags, but glad I didn't as they would've been too big. All in all very pleased.

Great Buy
I purchased these bags around a month ago and have had the opportunity to test them on a five day trip. I am very pleased with how they fit on my bike (Buell xb12). The bags are the perfect size for a trip of this length. Plenty of room for all my necessities. I encountered rain on the return portion and decided to ride without the rain covers to see how the outer shell would perform. My contents were slightly damp but if the rain covers are utilized I'm sure there won't be any problems. Great product for the price.

Nice bags for the money...
So far I'm happy with these bags. I recently stopped at Costco to pick up groceries and I was surprised how well they packed my goods. I didn't know that the bags were heavy and full when riding home. The fact that they expand was a life saver too. I use my KLR to do as many run around chores as I can to save on fuel costs and to enjoy the ride.

Nice set of bags
I put these on my Nighthawk 750 which I use as a daily commuter. I like that they go on and off easily. For small bags you can stuff a surprising amount of things in them. I keep my rain suit, extra gloves, change of shoes and lunch weekdays for the office. As far a passenger comfort, my wife and I recently took a 9 hour ride around Mt Rainier with the bags. My wife said the straps were ok for sitting as a passenger. I like that they come with rain covers since living in Seattle rain is always a consideration. The bags are holding up well. If you are looking for a sport bag these are pretty good for the price.

These bags fit like a glove on my '06 Katana. It took a few minutes to get the fit right, but well worth the time. The 2 front "bungees" (nylon straps! I was looking for elasticized cords)I wrapped around the passenger footpeg hanger and rear bungees I mounted between the license plate and its bracket. Perfect. The bags hold a lot of stuff, look good and they don't move a bit. The neoprene backers seem very paint friendly. All in all, a good piece of kit.

Cortech Saddlebags- 2005 Yamaha FZ1
I'm not too impressed with the durability of the zippers or the straps to connect them to the bike. I purchased 2 black dog collars to connect the bags for a quick fix over the stock straps (which broke on the ride home from purchasing the bags) I used them on a 800 mile ride and they held up pretty good. Don’t over stuff the bags or the zipper comes apart. You can use these with a passenger but they tend to slide a bit. My wife said as far as comfort goes the straps that go across the seat are not uncomfortable to sit on. I put these on a 2005 Yamaha FZ1 and bent the stock turn signals down quite a bit but I think the smaller aftermarket ones would be OK.

Dimensions: 15" L; 11" D; 6" W. Fit nicely on 2007 Kawasaki EX250. Buckles line up with Tailbag, but are hard to insert and harder to remove. I bought Blue bags to match my Blue Ninja. Using the tailbag makes top access to the saddlebags difficult.

Cortech Sport Saddlebags
Basically the saddlebags are great. I use them on my Aprilia Scarabeo 500ie scooter. I cut off the handles and had the under seat straps sewn so the velcro would not loosen up when packed, it loosened up some in the first week. I like the 2" expandability on each side. Zippers work good so far, I don't think the velcro on the zippered flap will last long, but I could be wrong. The side pockets are good for extra gloves etc.The only down side is that the inside plastic panels are starting to bend, so they don't hold there shape at the top above the under seat straps as well as when new. That is why I rated finish at 3. But they're not hard bags either, so I guess it's just part of it. I would recommend these bags to any one who needs small expandable saddle bags, for a scooter or small bike.

Tour Master - Cortech Sport Saddlebag on 2008 Suzuki Blvd. M50
I mounted these on a 2008 Suzuki Boulevard M50. I needed small bags for this mid-size cruiser, and since this bike is "Modern" looking as opposed to "classic" looking, I didn’t want the old-timer looking leather saddlebags.
Very happy with fit, and finish. Looks pretty well made, and durable. I removed the rear seat, and placed the bags over the rear fender and placed the seat back on top of them. Due to the length of the bags, and the size of the rear fender, I was not able to use the protective sleeved provided with the straps to protect the paint, but nobody’s going to notice, as I don’t plan to remove the bags.

To say the least, I am impressed. Easy on and off, while providing plenty of room for an overnighter (if you're staying in a motel). I use them on my '08 KLR and have been extremely happy so far. There is no interference with the passenger, and as a matter of fact, my wife prefers having them on when she is riding with me. I am seriously considering the tailbag for those camping trips, I need room for my backpacking supplies and I think the tailbag will fit the bill. (Backpacker's stove, sleeping bag & tent.

This is my second set of Tour Master Cortech Sport Saddlebags, so I suppose I must like them at least a little... Actually, I like them a LOT. They are an excellent option for anyone that needs to be able to carry some stuff (shoes, lunch, purse, & change of clothes to work, a few groceries home, enough clothes for an overnighter*) on their bike, but doesn't want hard bags even if they were available and would fit the bike! With the addition of the matching and expandable sport tailbag, you can REALLY carry a lot of gear.

I just got back from a 627 mile trip to the Grand Canyon on a Ducati 1098. This Saddlebag didn't fit perfect but I was able to make it work. It worked very well. I was concerned that they would get too hot and burn or melt because they rested on the exhaust. I have aftermarket exhaust and they don't get as hot because of the carbon fiber. Turned out even though they rested on the exhaust they didn't get hot enough to burn or melt. I'd recommend this product.

Great bags ! Used them on a 5,500 mile journey from Olympia, WA to Chicken, AK and back. I put them on a 2007 Honda XR650L and mounted them backwards from the way they are supposed to face as I had to have them more forward due to the exhaust. Nice Saddlebags!
These saddlebags were incredibly easy to mount on my bike (Suzuki SV 650), are roomy and versatile. On top of that, they look very slick and add to the nice lines of the bike. Only downside I've found is that they cover my helmet lock (under the rear seat) to which there is no solution as far as accessing it. I ordered these bags about a month ago and have been pretty happy with the results. Honestly, I think bags on a sport bike look lame (I ride a 2002 CBR F4i), however I have a long commute and a backpack wasn't working for me. They work well, easy to install. Whoever designed this set of bags really had their head screwed on tight that day!
These are so well though out and functional I can't believe it. Once you fit them to your bike by adjusting the strap lengths - you are done. Then they pop on and off with four simple clicks. The rain covers are sewn to fit the bags exactly and tighten down with a quick release on elastic cords.
I am really looking forward to taking a trip now that I can carry some gear!
