Great bags, but beware if you're fat
I am a big guy (270 lbs.) and I used these on a long ride on my FZ1 with the suspension set on its softest setting. After about a 100-mile stretch, I noticed that the bags were rubbing on the wheel a little bit. This friction wore a hole, but the bags still worked. The amount of stuff they carry is great. I figure that I am at the high end of the weight spectrum, but just make sure you mount these bags as high as possible. I am completely satisfied with these bags.

Nice bags
Fit easily on a Honda Nighthawk 750. Good amount of storage quick setup on the bike. Haven't had a chance to test rain covers.

Cortech Saddlebag
Just back from a 4 day tour and the bags worked great. Easy on/off the bike at night and held everything that I needed. Did not move around on bike during ride and protective pads were easy on the finish.

Cortech Saddlebag
I purchased these bags for occasional long distance touring with a Honda CBR1000RR. The bags are very well made, well thought out, plenty roomy for a week of touring (along with the tail bag), look good on the bike, easy to put on or take off. They have good protection from hot exhaust and good protection for the finish on the bike (make sure to only install on bike when clean, or dirt can scratch the finish). It is nice if you have both the tailbag and saddle bags, since you can use either separately, or both together to give many possible combinations of carrying capacity. I have found it is nice to just leave the saddle bags on most of the time for running around town just to have the ability to throw a few things in from the store, or carry some rain gear for that unplanned shower.

The bags
After 5,000 miles with these bags, I doubt there's anything better for anywhere near the price, but there's a couple things to be aware of. 1) Bags MUST be balanced or they will shift badly 2) rear attachment can be tricky - on my Honda Hornet (599) I burned off the buckle with my exhaust pretty quickly - make sure it's nowhere close.

Tour Master Cortech Saddlebag
These saddlebags, coupled with the Tour Master Cortech Tail bag, offer an inexpensive solution to transporting stuff on bikes that don't have integrated factory bags. In my case, I bought these after installing (and removing) the Suzuki factory bags for my V-Strom. I removed the saddlebags from the V-Strom because the factory subframe that replaced the original subframe was not as rigid, and it affected handling and comfort. With this inexpensive Cortech stuff, I can leave the original subfra

Cortech Saddlebags
Excellent bags; I use them on my CBR600RR. Very well made, and thought through design: Stiff walls, with great padding to protect the bike's finish. Highly recommend.

Cortech Saddlebag
Superb product at very affordable price. They are perfectly sized for fitting a sport tourer like my FJ1200 and are almost identical to the chase harper models offered as an accessory when the bike was sold. Though not considered waterproof, just put your stuff in a kitchen trash bag and fold the top. Very little water gets in anyway. I bought another set.
