Neal San Antonio,  TX Firstgear - Onyx Tail Bag “Light colored lining for easy visual access of contents”: Only the inside of the lid is like this. The rest of the interior is black. “2 lower side flaps for secure mounting to bike”: Yes, but nothing tells you HOW to use these to help mount the bags to the bike. Notice that there are quick release buckles on each flap. They can be hooked together UNDER the bag when not in use, but there is no way to hook them to anything else when the bag is on the bike! The only thing I can think of is that there is suppose to be another strap supplied with the bag can be put under the pillion that would attach to the buckles.

Peter Hanover,  NH Great all-around bag The nicest feature on this bag is how expandable it is. Lots of room, nice soft interior with lots of useful pockets. Very easy to access luggage. I wasn't as thrilled with the basic bungy cord attachements, but they worked well on my 7000 mile trip; so I can't complain. Great bag for the buck!
