So far so good
This is my 1st tank bag so I have nothing to compare it to, but it is handy and stays on the tank. The different sized bags seem like a good idea, although I've only used the smaller one so far. It fits fairly well on my FZ1, it's not intrusive and stays put at speed and on bumpy roads so far. It has different pockets on the backside of the lid for various things, but I guess I'm not that organized, the big open area suits me fine.

As I give the highest ratings for this product, I need to add that the zipper that connects the bag to the base is difficult to zip. Perhaps some clip system would be more functional. I do like the convertibility of the bag, though. I can use the larger section as a rear bag when I need to carry an extra helmet or gear.

Eiffel is awesome - even on a Ninja 250!
I was worried the big bottom bag would be too big for my little Ninja 250. But, it's perfect! I did a 2 day, 370+ mile trip last weekend with it, occasionally in very strong winds & rain, and it was fabulous. It holds a ton of stuff but yet doesn't get in the way at all. I could turn lock to lock with no problems (I was worried about hitting the horn accidentally). AND, I could actually lean on it very comfortably for long periods of time, taking the strain off my back and arms. It's quite comfortable! We got poured on for about 25 minutes, and although I didn't have the rain cover on, the inside was totally dry. Perhaps a longer rain would have soaked it through. I haven't tried both bags together, but I don't think it's impossible - even on my little Ninja. I will at least try it before our 2 week trip at New Years.
BTW, I carried 2 bottles of wine home with me in the bag, and the nice thick cushioning at the bottom kept me from worrying about them at all. Great bag!

Eiffel 2 Tank Bag is a great buy
I tried to get the Eiffel 2 Tank Bag the first time motorcycle super store had it but it went super fast. The second time it came around I bought one. The zippers are heavy duty and big, no problems getting into the bag with gloves on. The bags are large and can be stacked or used separately, so you are really getting three bags for one price. The only downside to the main bag is the backpack straps, one has come almost completely off at the stitching. I wish the straps were as well built as the bags are.

If you need a tank bag get this one. There are four configurations with this bag. 1.base only (has a clear pocket for map and fits other stuff) 2.base small bag (going to the gym this is perfect plenty of room for clothes, water bottles, cell phone and a lot more. 3.Large bag only perfect for college student. Can carry books and laptop and other stuff. 4.Everything together. Who needs to carry this much stuff? Great for weekend trips and camping. This bag rocks!!!!!

Incredible Bag(s)
This bag combo is amazing. I got 2 large bags for 1 price, because I can use the top, bottom, or both. Very roomy for extra clothes, rain gear, taking books or papers to work, or a weekend road trip. Enough storage that I could keep my backpack at home. Now I can ride more comfortably, and other drivers can see my safety vest when approaching from behind. The map pockets are large, and the side pockets store your wallet, sunglasses, gloves and GPS when not in use. Magnets are really strong-you'll be surprised-but they fold out of the way when carrying the bag off the bike. Very nice features and thoughtfully designed. This was a great purchase...I'd do it over again.

Just what I was looking for
Like one of the other reviewers said, this is a very versatile bag. I own a fairly small bike (Ninja 500), and the bag covers the tank without being in the way. It is as large a bag as the bike could take though. I like the ability to use either of the two bags as my travels require. With both bags stacked it is very tall, but I don’t do this very often. I typically use only the larger of the two bags on my trips to work. Plenty of room for rain gear, files, thermos, gloves, and more. The shoulder strap is nice too for when you don’t want to leave the bag on the bike. I have the magnet mount base and have not had any issues with the bag staying in place. I find the zippers to be a little chunky to get around at times but certainly not annoying. I would recommend the bag to anyone and would buy another.

Very Versatile Bag
I bought this bag for someone else.. and he said he loves it. When all the pieces are used, it is very tall, you can barely see your panel.. but he usually just uses the small piece zipped onto the base. Also we got the magnetic one, magnets are very strong. Nice tank bag

Eiffel 2 Tank Bag
I like this tank bag. It is huge and versatile. Took 3000mi trip and it worked very well. I am 6' 4" and can see my instruments over it but something to think about if you are shorter. Like the fact that you can use shoulder strap or backpack straps. I would recommend this tank bag.

Fieldsheer - Eiffel 2 Tank Bag
The first thing I noticed was the how strong the magnets are. They hold to the tank under all conditions. I really like the fact I can use map holder, one large bag or add the second bag. I use my bike everyday as transportation and this bag holds my rain gear, shoes and food.

Great product
I spent a lot of time debating which tank bag to have. I wanted one that was not huge and at the same time would hold enough stuff. This is the ticket. The options of the small bag, the map pocket, the larger bag, and both bags together is great. This is everything that I wanted in a tank bag. The magnets are very strong, and they fold together when not on the bike. The construction is very good. The zippers are heavy duty and open and close easily. I am very happy with this tank bag and would buy the same one again. It fits perfect on my Honda Blackbird!

Best tank bag for the buck bar none! Great durability and I can put a lot of stuff into the bags including several jackets for change of weather. Magnetic base is incredibly strong. No sliding of bags even when jammed full of stuff. Great job Fieldsheer.

Awesome!
Very versatile and big enough to fit clothes for 2 people on a 3 day trip. It's pretty tall on our BMW R1200c with the two bags on and the top one fully extended.

I found the product to be very well made and very flexible in its application. It can be a big tall bag full of lots of stuff, a map holder and several sizes in between. It is priced attractively. For me, it was a good buy.

Well thought out product. Good balance of redundancy for each bag, so when using a bag by itself you do not feel lacking for utility. Fieldsheer makes good products, and again this is another example.

I like it....guess I could say it serves my needs well with the way both upper and lower bags will fit the base. magnetic base is only issue I have not quite wide enough to fit cleanly on my bike (97TLS) two inches wider would have been perfect...other than that it is a great product would highly recommend simply for the versatility and durability.
