Good trunk, but clips & lock broke upon impact
While riding on streets of Brooklyn, I hit a small pothole in the road. Trunk came flying off, and sliding down the side of the road. Fortunately, the lock stayed secure because I had my camera bag enclosed with over $1000 of gear. Both the plastic bracket for the release valve under trunk and the left clip which holds trunk securely to mounting bracket on luggage rack, both pieces broke.

Travel Trunk met my needs perfectly
The Emgo Travel Trunk I recently purchased met my needs perfectly. It is big enough to hold a helmet, motorcycle cover or other belongings, but is not so big it appears overwhelming on my bike. It was easily attached to the luggage rack already on my motorcycle. My only concern is that its construction may be a little light weight. I'm not sure how long it will last with daily use.

Good purchase
I've had this on a DR650 for a month or so now, and it has held up to a couple of off-road crashes as well as the abuse it gets from bouncing everything around inside of it when you're off road. Mounting was easy, and the rack is still usable when the box is removed, if you need to carry something too bulky for the box. I can fit my riding jacket or my HJC xtra large helmet along with an air pump, and some other small items, so it is perfect for me.

Travel trunk OK
It's only 28 liters so you can't take much with you. Quality is ok. It's 1/8" plastic.

Nice little trunk.
This is a pretty good little trunk for the money. It mounted to the rack of my Suzuki DRZ400s dual sport very easily. It is reasonably sturdy. It will hold one helmet, but not much more. It comes with a quick release to remove from the mounting plate. You may have to play with the plastic mechanism a little to the mount and dismount the trunk from the plate. Overall, a decent product.

Emgo Portable Travel Trunk
I got it to hold my lunch etc. for 40 mile commute. It is big enough to hold folded padded leather jack and winter gloves. Attached to existing Hondaline rack on my 1100 Shadow with clamps and no drilling. It is removable from base mounting plate so can be brought in with you. Key lock for lid also used to lock to base plate. So far (1 Month) it appears to be great.

Tough little case
Very easy install, even though I had to drill a few holes in the wife's rack (on the bike that is)
One day she hadn't made sure it was secure, however, and when she hit a bump the case came flying off at about 40 mph, hit the ground and slid to a stop along the curb.
Some goof-ball nabbed it. By the time she stopped off the road and ran back, the nut-job was walking away with it. She yelled at him a bunch of times before he stopped and gave it back.
When she got home she showed it to me: The case was a little scratched up, but still in good shape.
Now she makes sure it is latched securely. I will definitely buy another for my bike.

Mr.
The EMGO trunk is great. Went on the existing back rack perfect with only a minor modification. I like the idea of a quick removal latch.

Good deal, works great
Seems to work great, installed it on my MZ with a Hepco rack. Took about 5 minutes. It does need the key to open/close the trunk, but it seems to be waterproof and fits a laptop, clothes to/from work and my helmet, gloves when off the bike.
