Good bag, works on the KLR 650
It works on my '09 KLR 650 well. Its fits between the seat and the gas cap. I'm sure I'm using it flipped - the end of the bag that normally faces forward is now facing the seat. But this doesn't appear to be a problem. Reading the map or cue sheet in the map pocket is difficult, because the bag is sitting almost in my lap, but I really end up doing most of my navigating using my iPhone and its GPS and map function.

I am really pleased with this tank bag. Looks great, gives lot of valuable space to carry such important things like documents, spare gloves, glasses, photo camera, maps, etc. I do not hesitate to recommend it. Five stars!!

Good, but....
I bought the strap version because I hate lugging around magnets while hiking, and also because the V-Strom has a rep for not working well with magnetic bags due to plastic panels. System worked fine...once I figured out the placement of the straps - the directions were terrible! Bag is very useful, but would it have killed them to make it waterproof? Putting on the rain cover is a pain and covers up the map. Handles very good, but I have noticed some fraying where the tank strap loops are sewn on.

worth it for sure
Got this bag for my Buell Ulysses in order to do a 14 day 1600 mile off road trip. I got the strap version. It fit very snug to the bike. It’s a really nice size and looked good on the bike it took harsh punishment like dirt, dust, rain, bumps, bike crashes with no damage to the bag. It did wick water in the bottom in heavy rain even with the rain cover on. Beware of cell phone or camera in the bottom of bag if it rains. It did not scratch the bike or damage it beyond a few light scuff areas near the belt buckle area. The rubber/foam pad underneath seems very bike friendly. It was subjected to low speed tip overs and brutal up and downhill rocks/bumps and never really moved too much. I wish the front pocket was bigger.

It is quite small, and the front magnets may not stick on some tanks that are really curved. Good quality.

Nice bag over all. I had to get this mini bag to fit my mini tank (09 Aprilia Dorsoduro 750). Some of the larger bags have more features but this one still gets it done. The neoprene bottom patch is a little weak but, the rest of the bag is solid. The top map case is attached with both Velcro and snaps. The snaps don't stay snapped when I move the bag around during refueling and when putting my GPS in the map case. I guess that is what the Velcro is for. Not sure why it’s not all Velcro but, mine hasn't flown off yet.

Great Tank Bag!
This is not a huge bag, but it's big enough to carry the essentials when commuting or on day rides. I can carry my cell phone, garage door opener, mini-mag lite, 10 oz. bottle of water, kick stand puck, 12"x12" microfiber towel, rain pants, knife, tablet, pen, sunglasses, map and the tank bags rain cover. The map pocket is kind of small and you'll have to do some modifing of your maps. Even though I have the safety strap attached, the bags magnets are very strong and I've not had any trouble or movement of the bag even at 85+ MPH. I have a fairly flat tank on my 500R Ninja and it fits very well. This is a great little bag!!

Tour Master-Super Mini Tank Bag
Way disappointed. None of the snaps that are supposed to hold the map case to the bag actually snap and stay snapped. It is unnerving to be motoring down the road and see the flap with snap fluttering in the wind. Thank goodness for the velcro beneath. Otherwise, I would be missing my map case. Size, perfect. Zippers, perfect. Other than the snaps, just what I was looking for. Good price, but 'c'mon, guys, let's do a complete job instead of making a half-assed effort.

Nice overall
This tank bag is great overall. Biggest issue I’ve found is that the buttons are weak, and do not hold snapped together. Other than that, it fits well, and the material seems fairly durable. This model has the straps (not magnetic) and stays in place well.

Nice little tank bag
this is an excellent little tank bag for those shorter rides where you just need "some" storage. Nice heavy duty bag, magnets work great, doesn't shift around at all. The only complaint is regarding the quality of the build itself, one magnetic flap was sewn a bit crooked, works great and isn't really a problem. One complaint, not bad for the price!!

Great little bag
This bag fits very well on my KLR 650, for me it is just the right size to carry what stuff I need. I use it mostly for going back and forth to work. On weekend trips I use it to carry snacks and drinks for a break on the road.

Does what I need it to do
I bought this bag for a DL1000 V-Strom because I needed something small to put my gloves, wallet, camera, ect. I didn't like the idea of the magnetic system so I got the one that attaches with straps.... cheaper too! I don't know about other bikes but on the V-Strom the straps work perfectly, and the whole attaching process only took about 5 min. I don't notice it all when I'm riding and the handlebars don't hit it. Looks nice on the bike too. It's easy to unclip the one clip on the back and flip it forward to put fuel in. The only complaint is on the snaps that hold the bottom of the map pocket on, they're not strong at all, and come unsnapped easily. All that needs to be done is tap the male snap with a hammer. I don't mind having to do this, but some might. Overall a nice looking small bag for a decent price.

Tour Master Super Mini Tank Bag
Had initial concerns about this bag fitting on my K1200LT. After seeing a review on line I decided to purchase & give it a try. Made 2800 mile trip and the bag was secure the whole time. Pleasantly surprised at the utility of this bag. The Super Mini Tank bag is just the right size for the BMW K1200LT without costing an arm & a leg.

Super Mini - when pockets are not enough and cases are too much
The Tour Master Super Mini tank bag is a great choice for riders who like to travel light, but still bring the 'necessaries'. With that in mind, this is a great bag at a great price, especially for those who already use courier bags or backpacks. The Super Mini tank bag is designed like a quality school backpack with compartments correctly-sized for the things you want to keep in once place, and not jammed in five or six pockets. When I park my bike, I pop the tank bag off, stick the skinny end into my helmet and walk away. Pros - Many and valuable - Synthetic chamois bottom and no metallic fasteners or hardware to scratch your paint job. - Sturdy magnetic tabs are conformal and keep the bag locked to the bike no matter how fast you think you can accelerate. - Quality zippers (glove operable) and cordura construction should give long service. - Polyester felt sewn-in bag liner protects phone and electronics. - Hook & pile closures are at all the right places (except map pocket: see below) - Pen and notepad pockets are deep enough to keep contents snug and available. -Main compartment is sized well: holds my wallet, doo-rag, 2 chem light sticks, a garage door opener, flashlight, helmet lock cable with room for lots more (that stuff my wife doesn't want to carry in her pockets when she rides with me). - The included elasticized, snap-on rain cover is very handy - Super sturdy rubber handle has nylon webbing at either side - perfect for snapping on carabineers of keys. - Small exterior zipper pocket at the skinny end has a stretchy net sewn inside for toll tokens, change, glasses. - Delrin d-ring at the fat end could secure the Mini to a larger tank bag below, or just give you a place to hang it on the garage wall - your choice. Cons - few and minor - The separate exterior pocket (faces you as you ride - at skinny end) is perfect for a cell phone (it's where mine goes), an iPod or mp3 because you can open it with one hand. For some reason Cortech decided to place their earphone cord port on the main compartment instead of this pocket where there are 2 zippers to navigate. - Not sure why the top map pocket is attached with both hook & pile AND 3 mechanical snap tabs - seems strange that I would want to disconnect my map pocket anyway as the map pocket was a major selling feature for me. Does Cortech have plans for something else they want to sell me that sticks to that big nasty pile patch under the map pocket? - I'm a guy, so I will definitely not be using the included nylon shoulder strap (however my wife would). All 'round good investment as a portable motorcycle glove box: well made, good price solves a lumpy pocket problem.

Mini Tank Bag
Very good for the reason I bought it. I needed a small magnetic bag with a safety strap. I toured a couple of States and it performed very well. The rain cover did it’s job in several downpours. I would recommend it for the small tank bag applications and for it's price.

Purchased the magnetic super-mini tank bag. The bag is beginning to show some wear on the underside due to pulling the bag off several times. For less wear and tear of the soft underside lifting the bag off is best without gouging the material.

I just used this tankbag on a trip to Monterey and it worked very well. My only complaint is that one snap (out of 3) on the map pouch would not stay fastened. I had the strap version and it stayed in place very well.

Magnets to poor
The bag has an overall nice look and seems to be well finished; perfect for that day trip you only want your sunglasses, camera and some shield cleaner with you.
The only thing I find is that the Magnets are a bit too poor and don’t stick that strong I’m accustomed from my other, bigger, Tank bag, but I think it will hold anyway as I did not ride with it yet.

Great LITTLE bag!
It fits my 2003 Honda CBR600RR just right. I can see over it at the instruments just fine and it stay's in place well except under extreme cross winds (60mph in Death Valley). I only wish it was a little bit larger so I am looking at the Mini, 10 and 14 for those times when I need a little extra room. I hope the straps for the super mini will work on all the other sizes.

The Tour Master line is very good quality. I was disappointed about the size when received. It is great to put your wallet and a bottle of water in but not much bigger than that...Make sure you go to their web site and review the dimensions. They offer 2-3 differant sizes.

The mini tank bag is a nice little item. I use it all the time when I ride on my 650 Ninja. The magnets hold good. It is made well. It has the capability to be thrown over your shoulder with the sling. It is a little small though. But all in all it's a great bag. decent for the money
Foam pad on the bottom has begun to crack after two months. The padding will not scratch your bike if kept clean, but the handle will scuff your paint. Stays put pretty good, the more weight you put in it, the more likely it will move around a bit. Like the little pockets and such for pens, insurance card, etc.

Excellent
Have had a couple of these bags. It was a perfect fit on my 2007 KLR 650. I have since bought another for my 1150GS. Just be sure to keep gas from getting on the underside, as it will deteriorate the padding under the magnets..

Tour Master - Super Mini Tank Bag
This is a well designed & built little bag. Holds what's needed and has thoughtful places for pens, air gauge and frequently needed items like ear plugs/sun glasses. The strap mount (needed for non metal tanks) needs to attach at the steering head and someplace under the seat (a frame rail or similar). Convenient & sturdy handle is a nice touch. Great for sport bikes as it is not too large & doesn't spoil the look. Good value compared to a lot of the more "premium" names in bags.

Nice tank bag
I bought this tank bag (strap) for my Kawa Versys since it has a curved tank with little top surface. The tank bag is compact and fits well. It is nicely finished and made of high quality materials. It offers the necessities: removable map cover (needs some folding to fit), front pocket that fits an Ipod, and a main compartment that (just) holds a face shield and water bottle. The only drawback is that the bag does not have an expansion baffle.

Perfect!
This bag fits my needs perfectly. Its large enough to hold a bottle of pop, sunglasses, maps, etc. Just like the little center console storage in a car. It feels well built and should last a long time. The only complaint is I had to do some work to make the straps (magnetic wouldn't work on my bike )fit due to the bike's frame but that's not the bags fault.

Great Mini Tank Bag
This was my second purchase of this item. The first is installed on a Suzuki DR250. The second on a Yamaha XT225. The fit on the Suzuki is a little better, but the tank bag is secure and looks good on both bikes. It is big enough for our communications equipment and some incidentals, easily moves out of the way to refuel, and looks like it would last forever. I can't see anything I would change in either the design or in the materials used. First quality item.

Tour Master - Super Mini Tank Bag
I ride a BMW R1100RT and I am short at 5' 6”. Large tank bags were just to cumbersome for me. The super mini however is just right. Big enough to hold all essential -- camera, cell phones, wallet, sunglasses, chargers for above and map. The map pocket is not large but suitable for a map or trip turn directions. The foam pad and straps work fine to secure the bag and prevent scratching the tank. It's easy enough to unlatch and carry away for meals and overnight. Well made and accessible. Just right for me!!!!

Great little bag, just what the doc ordered. It's small but holds all I need to have right at hand. The pockets in the top are great for pens a small memo pad, bike ins and reg papers. Main holds flashlight, disc lock, spare glasses and any other small what nots. It looks as if it will hold up for long service because it is well made, the magnets hold it in place very well. I'm very pleased with it and would advise it for anyone who needs more than a barrel bag but not a large tank bag. Easy take along and not cumbersome.

Great tank bag!!!
I fit this bag on my BMW R1200RT. It fits great, looks great, and is a great alternative to the over-priced BMW proprietary tank bag. I had the BMW bag but found it too big for comfort and everyday use. I love this bag! The strapped version is the best choice for my BMW model. The bottom flap acts as a tank guard and the top straps fit around the fork bars nicely. Easy on/off makes this bag perfect for daily use. I highly recommend this bag if you don't need a huge tank bag for everyday use.

Very Good Bag
I like this bag a lot it. It is well made and fits nicely on the gas tank of my V-Strom 650. I love the handle and carrying it around is very easy. I have side luggage (Givi E21) and it fits nicely there. The only downside is that it is small. It is perfect for your wallet, phone, a map and maybe an mp3 player and some small things, but if you need to put more in there get the next size up.

Superior Small Tank Bag
I highly recommend this smallish, extremely well-made tank bag for those odds and ends needing a place other than your pockets! It's small enough to blend in with the lines of the bike but large enough for gloves, wallet, phone, keys, notepad, pens, IPod (it has a headphone wire port!) and other smaller stuff. It will also hold a half-liter water bottle on its side. The map pocket is a bit small, but I print key turns from MapQuest and stack them in the map pocket. I keep a larger folded up map in the bag itself.

Tour Master / Cortech - Super Mini Tank Bag
This is a great little bag. Seems very well constructed with high quality material. Has enough room for the essentials and is easy to open with gloves on. Straps are very adjustable which helped facilitate mounting. The outlet for earphone is very convenient.

Tank bag
I've got a 2006 R1 raven- so trying to find a tank bag to fit over the plastic air intakes in a magnet bag was hard, the super mini works pretty well, I originally thought because of the way the magnets are fit, it went with the handle towards the triple, but riding like that is kind of uncomfortable, so I turned it around and moved it up a little and it works fine now. Perfect for small items, local trips, just barely large enough to get a medium sub in for lunch with a can of soda mind you- that was pushing it too.

The only bad thing about this bag is that the map pocket is too small and leaks in the rain. Cortech tankbag
I was surprised at just how small this bag was, but I have no complaints. It serves it's purpose well (holding bottled water, spare shades, etc.) and the front pocket is perfect for your cell phone. The magnets hold it perfectly in place and I've had my YZF600R at over 140 and the bag never even flinched. I got the black model and the material that the zipper is attached to is starting to fade after just a month, other than that no complaints.

Cortech Super Mini Tank Bag
I bought this tank bag as an alternative to always having my TourMaster tail bag on the bike. It worked perfectly. Although I expected more magnets they actually do a remarkable job. Of course you want to use the tether that comes WITH the bag so that you don't lose the bag if the magnets failed to hold their grip. I didn't need to use the rain cover yet but am glad it also comes with the bag. The map pocket is convenient, and the small pocket closest to the rider is great.

Cortech - Super Mini Tank Bag - Strap Mount
Great bag. It's small size allows me to keep on my bike all the time, yet it never feels like it is in the way. I use it like a glove box for the bike. Went with the strap mount since BMWs have plastic tanks. The only downside has been that every now and then I need to retighten the straps. Never any danger of loosing the bag, but it slowly slides sideways off the top of the tank. Overall - Strong recommendation.

Gone Forever
I don't recommend this bag. I used it for the third time yesterday. The bag slid right off my Bonnie's tank in a busy intersection. By the time I could turn around and drive back to retrieve the bag, someone had stolen it, together with my $500 prescription sunglasses, which were inside.

This bag fits perfect on the awkward-shaped V-Strom tank. The magnets are really strong and I've never seen any movement in the bag with speeds over 80mph. It holds my digital camera, cell phone, and other small junk, with more room to spare. I've used the map pocket a few times, which is handy. I'm not sure if it's a V-Strom thing, but it seems I get more helmet noise when using the bag.

Excellent quality, and large enough for day trips. The small size and strong magnets work well with any tank; even odd-shapes like the v-strom. The clear map pocket is a bit small to effectively hold a map, but plenty large for some scribbled directions on a piece of paper.

Great product, does exactly what it says. Magnets hold well and the shape is small enough to fit between the bottom of my speedometer console and the seat. Works great on my R1150GS
I have the stock BMW expandable bag for long trips. However, this small bag is terrific for day trips or hops around town. It looks pretty good on the bike too. The magnetic mount is plenty strong, and the bag easily holds cell phone, water bottle, garage door opener, sunglasses, pens, etc... The map enclosure was bigger than I expected. It has a handle and shoulder strap for easy carrying (if you're tough enough to wear a man purse). Overall I am very satisfied.

I really like this tank bag. I have one on my GSX R1000 now and I have ordered another one for my GSX R600. It is small enough not to impair your steering and has lots of pockets for smaller items. Cortech Super Mini Tank Bag
Got the Super Mini for Christmas. Riding an ST 1300, the choice of tank bags are few, limited by the width of the handlebars. I'd been using a Joe Rocket Manta and I think this holds every bit as much as it, but without occupying as much real estate on the tank itself. The bag is quality construction (its from Tourmaster, what would you expect?) and looks excellent on the bike. Very secure magnet system. I'm a happy buyer, and will continue to use more Tourmaster products in the future.Than

Bag is just big enough to carry the stuff you need in a tank bag. Pens, small tablet, tire gage, ear plugs phone, & a medium sized camera. I had the bag on an 05 R12Gs and now have it on an 05R12RT and it works great. Just have to be able to figure out where to mount the straps. not a big deal.

Nice bag but not for BMW's
The Super Mini Tank Bag is very well made, looks durable and very tidy. Also, it's dimensions mean that you carry exactly what you need on the tank and nothing else. Also, due to its size, you don't feel any weight difference and moving about the bike is totally unhindered. The pockets and organiser are brilliant and many of the tasks you may need to do can be done without even removing your gloves.
HOWEVER....I bought the strap-mount option for my 02 1150RT BMW. Given that the tank and fairing
