Very good cover for my Honda Shadow aero 750, XL size fits the bike length and tall wind screen, bike stays dry except for some vapor on a cold morning but no rain gets through. Two vents instead of one would be better.

This is a Great Cover!
I titled this review as I did based on the fact that, not only does this cover from Dowco feel like it's very well made, but also the fact that as I type this review, my bike is enduring torrential rain and strong wind while under this cover.
Up to this point, and since receiving the new cover, the weather has been pretty dry, but one thing I have noticed is the lack of condensation on the seat in the mornings. Prior to the new Dowco cover, the seat would have to be dried off after removing the old cover, particularly on cooler mornings.
I read a lot of reviews about various bike covers and this one consistently got the best reviews for protection, durability, breathe-ability, and (of all things) looks. After working with this cover for about a month, I would recommend this cover to anyone. Period. One thing to note is that the sizing chart is not quite accurate.
The chart recommended an Extra-Large for my bike, but I had to go up to a double-XL in order for the cover to reach the ground. The XL only covered as far as the top half of the wheels and since I do not have a garage, that was not acceptable. In all other respects, this is a really great cover.
Do not skimp on protecting your investment! The extra money for this cover is well worth spending. Safe riding to all!

Purchased a generic bike cover to use on my 2007 VTX1300S from a local auto parts store and opted for the Dowco cover as a replacement after seeing it online. Excellent product. Durable material that works as advertised and fits the bike like a glove. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid cover, especially considering it wasn't that much more expensive than the first generic cover I bought.

I bought it for my new Goldwing. It fits perfectly. The inside protection for the windshield is in the exact position. The only advice: if you are intending to take the cover with you on a trip, don't forget to buy the compression tool from Dowco, otherwise the volume will be huge.

Sturdy Cover
My bike is outside all the time. I don't have a car port or garage so a decent cover to protect against the elements is a plus. I bought this cover back in 2004 and for the most part it held up well against the elements. After 4.5 years of use I had to replace it because the plastic seals underneath the cover began to degrade and melt on the bike. However, I liked the cover so much that I got it again. I purchased the all black cover. It feels sturdy and is very minimalist. The cover doesn't draw attention to the bike and is just a great cover all around. My guess is that I won't have to replace this for another 4 years. Good investment if your bike is outside all the time.

Dowco makes a great product. As other have stated, order one size larger for a cruiser than required. The product is durable and I have used it on my camp site and it rained hard that weekend. Bike was dry. Recommend the cover for inclement weather.

Guardian Weather All Motorcycle Cover
The elements can do lots of unreversable damage to motorcycles. That is why I purchased this cover and have had piece of mind ever since. This cover is very durable, it has a vent that prevents rain from getting in while still allowing ventilation, it has a protectant section on the inside for the bike, as well as many other features. At the price from this business and the quality of the product I haven't had a single complaint.

I am very happy with the Guardian Weather PLUS cover. It fits my bike well even with a custom back rest installed. It looks just like the photo on the box as far as fit is concerned. (I have an ST1300) I used the size recommendation based on the web-site for Sport Touring bikes. One concern might be the ability to allow condensation to vent. I have found moisture on my bike in the morning or after a rain shower. May need a second vent on the right side or several in various locations. Love the cover. Putting it on and off is not as challenging as some reviewers lead me to believe.

The "sportbike" size fits my 06 636 very well, it covers the entire bike. The cover is 110% waterproof, it handles Florida’s torrential downpours just fine. The strap is nice, keeps the cover nice and snug. and the heat panels are great, I put the cover on immediately after use and its showing no signs of damage...it’s a small, worthy investment.

Great quality! I have an '05 750 Honda Shadow Aero w/large windshield & saddlebags. The size suggested for the Shadow Aero was s/m, but the large just fits. Wish it was longer to cover entire wheel, but it fits just like the photo. My friend has the same cover for her Harley & loves it.

I have now purchased my second Dowco Guardian Weatherall cover. This cover is protecting my BMW R1150RA bike and does a great job. I have a tall windscreen, system cases (sides) and top box, and opted for one size up which was the right decision. I recommend this cover highly. Pricing is ok - could always be a bit less, but generally competitive.

Second cover I've bought
Got a new bike, which is bigger than my old bike. This is good. My old Dowco Guardian Weatherall Plus Cover didn't fit my new bike so I bought a new cover in the correct size. I found these covers to be very well made. I am a daily rider here in Seattle where it occasionally rains. I cover my bike while it's parked. The cover fits well and does a great job of protecting my bike in all kinds of weather. The only shortcoming of the cover is the bag it comes in. My first cover's bag came apart in no time. I replaced it with a stuff sack from REI. I have no complaints about the cover itself. The cover is well made and heavy duty. If you don't have severe weather where you are you might consider getting a lighter cover. This cover is heavy duty.

Dowco - runs small
I have had a Dowco cover similar to this one and it has lasted about years, and is still in use. A cheaper one I bought only lasted three years. I selected the size based on the recommendations guide. It does fit, but is very tight across the rearview mirrors on a stock Sportster. I would recommend a size larger.

In my opinion, the best cover for the money.
I read another review that said to buy one size larger than what the website says will fit. I would definitely agree with this. I have a 2006 Kawasaki Concours with saddle bags and a trunk and this cover completely covers my bike. Easy to put on and take off, but the storage bag that comes with it is too small for me, so I use a cloth grocery bag instead and it works perfect. I highly advise purchasing a rope lock to hook through the grommets along with the alarm.

Very heavy cover, the elastic around the bottoms makes for a very nice, tight fit. Some moisture does get in (possibly from condensation/evaporation) but the bike is mostly dry except for these few drops.

This cover is Very well made. One hundred times better than a wal-mart, etc. cover. The cover keeps bike dry in rain. There is no moisture on the bike in the mornings when take cover off. Also, you don't have to wait to put cover on if you don't want when done riding. However, I still wait and let the bike cool off before covering. Definitely worth the money to keep the weather off your bike, the best you can, if have to park outdoors.

I bought the Adventure Touring size for my F800GS which has an 18” windshield installed. It's a great fit even with the unexpanded top & side cases in place. The warning to not cover the bike till after the exhaust has cooled was disappointing, but not enough to push me into buying a BMW cover at twice the cost. Like all covers this size, it's pretty bulky to tour with, so it'll probably stay at home. I can only guess about durability, but the cover appears to use the same soft acrylic used for marine applications, so I expect about the same service life.

Great cover, but the factory sizing chart isn't very good. I ordered the correct size for my Harley Ultra and it was all my wife and I could do to put the cover on the bike. I called the Motorcycle Superstore about this and they were most helpful in exchanging my & correct cover for the next largest size which fits well. Don't necessarily believe the factory sizing charts.

I have a Kawasaki KLR650. I've bought a Dowco cover for my Yamaha R1 and the camo cover fits perfectly. But this time they are a little off. Its a bit tight and I'm worried the cover will fade the corners where it is rubbing against the bike. I used the medium like the chart suggested. It covered as much as the picture suggests but tight. I suggest you go to a large for dirtbikes. Also, remember to spray some water repellent if you are going to leave it out for the bad weather to get on it.

I had trouble getting the right size, I ride a dual sport and there is no size listed for my particular bike(KTM 530 EXCR). The sales rep told me to buy a small but it was not large enough. I went for a medium and it barely fits, I would suggest a large. Overall it is a good cover.

The bike covers I ordered are better than I expected. They are made very well and are very 'beefy/sturdy’ they also have the 'heatsheild' material all the way around the bottom instead of one side only. The best feature that totally blew me away was the felt fabric liner that goes against the windshield of my bike. I got one for my husband's bike for his birthday. I liked it so well I got one for myself for my bike. I also have had nothing but good experience when having to exchange products. This is the second Dowco cover for my Kawasaki concourse. the first one lasted 1.5 yrs. this new one seems to be more heavy duty and I should get more time out of it. if you have no shelter for your bike this cover will save you money in the long run on repairs and keep your bike looking newer longer.

My Dirt Bike = 09 KTM 200XC-W
After having gooooood luck w/ 5 previous Dowco purchases from Moto Superstore I ck'd out their inv. Dowco covers aren't listed for dirt bikes so's I gave Dowco a call. I know covers are not all that popular for dirt bikes (hey, who wants to spend $$ to cover a dirt bike?) so's I can't do the blame game on Dowco. Just hope my personal experience helps you out if you’re in need for a dirt bike cover. Dowco cust. rep took time to research correct cover. Dowco doesn't provide their support reps or web site w/ cover dimensions??? (Doesn’t make sense). It would really be helpful, if a particular bike model is not listed, that at least cover dimensions are. We threw the dice and decided on "Dowco - Guardian Weatherall Plus Cover (#184908)- ALL Black (no gray)" which is a perfect fit! I shopped price and Moto Superstore won out and hassle free ease of ordering was EXCELLENT, as usual from previous purchases. Do not hesitate to order this cover if your dirt bike is sized close to mine (L=91", H=52" taken @ top of hand grip, approx. dimensions). Cover stretches big enough to fit a bike that is up to 6 inches) longer and a couple of inches taller.

Cover is nice quality to repel water. I wish it covered my tires completely. I bought it according to the size chart (sport touring up to 1200cc) but probably should have gone one size bigger. I have only had it for one month, so we will have to see how it stands up the Maui sunshine. It covers a BMW K75 with panniers. Front tire is exposed above the rotor. I would recommend to friends. Using it to cover my Ducati 696. Slightly larger than needed but does not sag unsightly. Covers all the way to bottom of tires. Neat a vent to minimized condensation, etc. Has reinforced holes for lock. Needs better differentiation between front and back. Bulky size makes this less transport-friendly.

Overall a good product but...
The recommended DOWCO size for my 08 Kawasaki KLR650 was a Medium. Based on what I read on several 650 forums, I ordered a Large instead. After having properly fit it, I wish I had gone with one size larger. I prefer to have the cover fit over the front forks and more of the wheels. I think the additional cost would've been worth it.

I'm on my second one, first one lasted 4 1/2 years outdoors. Sun, wind, and rain. It held up very nice, only part that gave out was the plastic cover for the vent holes, other then that the cover was intact and still kept out the elements. This new one just got it's first test a week ago with some pretty good rain coming down, motorcycle was dry. Fits perfectly on my 2003 R6, easy on and off. I highly recommend this cover to any one storing their motorcycle outdoors.

My customized 07 HD Night train fits comfortably in the Dowco Guardian Weatherall Plus. Has a little extra room, but overall fits like a charm. I have paid more for another brand, but it doesn't fit or work as well as this cover. And the price is great!

Good cover. I can't comment much about the protection from the rain and snow. I cover my cover <--(get that) with a waterproof tarp I got from Home depot when I know the weather will turn ugly. I have the full dress size, on a vulcan 800 classic. I have to say the fit is a bit tight on the handle bars. When I take it off I have to re-adjust the right mirror. The bike does not have a windshield. I do like the heat shields on the bottom of the cover, although I never put the cover on the bike until it's cooled off.

I own a 01 sv650s and purchased the large I believe. The cover fits quite well actually, a little bit of slack at the bottom which is why I only gave it a 4, but it is NEARLY perfect, the chord fixes things right up! Keeps the water out too. At times moisture develops on the seat after a good rain, but no biggie if you’re considering this cover, it’s worth it. A great pick!

Be Careful
Great product, I've had it for about a month, I commute to work every day and it works great for setting up and tearing down real quick. I would be extra careful if you are covering your bike if the pipes and engine/header is still relatively hot. Even though it has lots of aluminized heat shield protection on the bottom, if you're not careful, one little slip of the non-heat shield portion onto hot chrome and *SIZZLE* you'll melt a hole in your new cover. :( Otherwise the heat shield works great with no burn-through!

Good cover, my second one
I like these covers a great deal. Stand up to rain without a problem. This cover in a medium is a bit small for my 95 Kawasaki ZX7, but works well because if it's too big, water can pool inside the cover at the base where the elastic is. Can't go wrong with a Dowco weather-all cover.

Great Cover
This is the first cover I've purchased; however, I have seen a lot of them. This one is of better quality than most. It's thick, waterproof, has the ability to be placed on the MC right after using because of the heat shield on the bottom, and has enough elasticity on the bottom cord that I haven't had to use the wind strap. I did have to punch a hole in the left rear and place a grommet for my old style CB antenna to slip through. I'd recommend this product to anyone.

The customer service assistant hit the size right on the head...the fit is great, installation is a snap, and appearance is a beaut! The only difficult thing was remembering how to fold it to put it back in the storage case! I only wish this had been around when I had bikes back in the 70's and 80's.

I've only had this cover in use for about 2 weeks, so I don't have much to say except that so far it has stood up against a few thunderstorms and has kept my bike dry. I like the elastic sewn into the base of the cover; it keeps the cover tight on the bike so no wind will get in it (along with the attached strap). I bought a medium for my sport bike and it fits perfectly. A very nice and inexpensive bike cover for the motorcycle-superstore sale price I paid.

I use this cover for overnight use. It protects my 2006 Suzuki SV650S from the rain and hot FL sun. I opted for the Dowco motorcycle cover alarm option. This is a pretty good added security measure. Size L fits my bike well. This is a good investment to protect your expensive motorcycle.

Top case fit
With out a top case the fit on my 2007 Dl-1000 (V-Strom) would be almost perfect. However considering most (but not all) V-Strom owners elect to put a Top case and/or side bags on this particular bike, I think they should rethink or redesign the covers with that in mind.

What a cover!
This cover is amazing and thick! It covers and covers well. I own a 2008 Honda Rebel; a cute scoot I know. The cover fits it and then some. A little too loose for my taste and I fear it turning into a sail on a windy day but cover it does and keep the rain off it succeeds at. However, I have found that the bottom portion of the cover does mark up the chrome tail pipes and my Willie and Max saddle bags.

I needed a cover for my 2006 Yamaha R6S for when I can not keep it in my garage. This cover (M) fits perfect with only one inch of tire showing out the bottom. With heavy rain and wind my bike did not get damaged or wet. The vent works well at letting moisture out from under the cover there was a puddle on top of the bike but no water made its way through I am very pleased with this product

I have never had a cover for a bike, but this one is definitely a lot better than the ones I saw for nearly the same price at the local ***mart. It seems to be strong and is waterproof. The only drawback that I see is that on my sport bike the pipes ride so high that it is beyond the protective aluminum part of the cover. I will certainly have to wait until it cools off all of the way before I put the cover on. Its strong material and should do just fine to protect the bike.

Nice Cover
Seems like an excellent cover. I bought a medium for my '01 F4i and it fit well with some extra material over the tank and seat causing water to pool up in those areas during rain. I sold the F4i and got a 600RR and it fits equally well with the same issue of water pooling in the same areas. Ideally it would be a bit tighter and let water pool off in those areas, but I can’t complain for a generic-sized cover. It does repel water and dirt nicely over most of the bike.

Geat cover
This cover is great. It goes on fast and easy. It covers the whole bike well(1998 Ninja 600).It sags a bit in the middle, causing the water to rest there. I sprayed the cover with the same stuff I use to waterproof my tent, just to be on the safe side. It also moves the mirrors a bit when I take it off. These two things are the only negatives and are not at all a big deal. I would recommend this cover to anyone who wants to keep there bike clean and dry.

The cover provides shade for the bike in rain and hot sun. It is very good.
Highly recommend it for anybody who doesn't have a covered garage and needs to leave it in the open. The cover is not easy to fold and stow. So plan for that. This store gave me a good price but they took their time (10 days) delivering. All in all, a good buy.

I was a little skeptical of the size she gave me to order but the fit on my Roadglide is perfect! It takes a minute or so to cover my bike and another one to remove it! I have a 99 katana and I ordered the med cover and it fit very good. it is a little baggy at the top but the sides and bottom fit like a glove and that is where it matters most. made little hole already but that was my fault i was taking the cover off from the back first and it caught in the license plate and made a very small hole. so if you take the cover off be sure to take off the bike starting from the front tire and work your way back. overall the cover is awesome for the price.

This cover is awesome!! It has kept rain, pollen, and canker worms from infesting my motorcycle at night. It folds up nicely into the supplied zip pouch and actually fits unlike that tent that never seems to cram back in its original pouch. The aluminum portion is ample in size and hasn't seemed to have been affected by warm pipes. I use it in conjunction with the Dowco alarm for added security. I would suggest spraying it with scotch-guard every couple of months because the material seems to absorb water over time but it always seems to dry within a couple of hours. Great product!!!

I've had this cover now for about a month. The cover is real easy to install and to remove from your motorcycle. It only takes a couple of minutes. The first time will take the longest but after that it's a breeze. The cover protects very good so far. It has rained a lot here and I have not found any water on the motorcycle. Wind has not caused any problems for me, sometimes it will inflate, but it does have a strap that keeps it on. If and when I need to replace this cover, it will be with the same cover.

Simply the best!!! I live in San Francisco where there's wind, fog, rain, and generally rough conditions for a bike that is getting stored outdoors. This cover is like a mobile garage, bullet proof. XL size fits my 2006 Aprilia Scarabeo 500 like a glove and seems to be sturdy as a rock. I was and still am very impressed with this product. I ordered this motorcycle cover online strictly based on other reviews. I am happy to report that I am very impressed with the quality of material and overall construction. I am using this cover for a 2006 Yamaha FZ6 and the fit is perfect (size medium). I can't compare this cover with other motorcycle covers since this is my first motorcycle. Bottom line, this cover has surpassed my highest expectations and looks sharp. Price is very reasonable but I noticed it was slightly more than the average.

This cover is the best. It not only keeps out the weather, but the fit is perfect. These guys did their homework before making this cover. Oh, did I mention it goes straight on a hot bike too. I had bought a knock off look alike cover on eBay and it gave me so much trouble. It was thin and the rain leaked through it and it was so thin despite the elastic hook to lock it in, it flew off. I then got the Guardian from here, on sale and I am so thankful. The cover is thick and its a snug fit on my FZ6 (medium is perfect for the FZ6). It has a locking strap which I really don’t use since it’s such a fantastic fit on the bike. It’s been completely rain proof and keeps the dust off the bike. Also the heavy material doesn’t flap in the wind or lift off the bike. I am 150% satisfied and would recommend this cover to anyone.

Replacement Cover
I purchased one of these covers in 2006 because I didn't have any room in my garage to put my bike. After a year and a half of sitting outside, the only problem I had was the waterproofing was worn off and the grey plastic piece with their logo had cracked. The color hasn't faded and the elastic is still good. If I could re apply the waterproofing, I wouldn't have needed to buy a new one.

I called to get the correct size for my Honda Shadow 750 Spirit. The customer service person suggested I get a Large since I have after market saddle bags. The cover fits like a glove. I have a Ninja 650, got the medium and it fits perfectly. Does have a tendency to hold water in the center so you have to shake it during the rain to prevent puddling. Taking it on and off daily can leave tiny scratches on the windshield if not careful. Doesn't seem to be completely water proof, has a little water on the bike after a hard rain. Overall nice cover!

Excellent cover
This is an excellent cover that appears to be well-made, durable and performs up to its expectations. It is quite weatherproof and fade resistant. Details such as the windshield protector, decent vent, and robust elastics are greatly appreciated. The price is also reasonable, especially when purchased on sale! I only wish that the silver heat resistant portion extended further up, as it is a bit too low to cover the can on my 06 Kawasaki ZZR 600. The sizing is also accurate, with a Medium fitting my Kawi, and the Large fitting my wife's BMW F650 CS.

Solid, reasonably priced cover
I'm using a large Guardian Weatherall Plus on my 1993 GTS1000, for which I unfortunately do not have a garage. It's handled everything the local weather can throw at it, and it fits snugly, but nicely. MUCH better than the last cover I purchased!

Bought size Med for a sport bike. Cover quality is excellent and so is fit. The only problem is that the heat shield panels do not adequately cover the area where the tail pipes extend upward so some of the unprotected area of the cover touches the hot pipes. This means I have to wait until the pipes are completely cool before covering the bike. That really irritates me and makes this whole "cover bike right after a ride" thing impossible.

This is an excellent cover for the money. Its the second one I've owned. I had to replace the first after ten years because I ripped it while moving some debris in my garage. It was in great condition, I ruined it. This one will last me a lifetime plus I'm sure. One thing to consider is possibly up sizing from the suggested sizes. I bought the medium for my KZ750 Kawi and its snug, it looks tailor made, but any more bike and it would not have fit.

I have a Honda Shadow Aero and this cover fits the bike very well. I also like the way that you can use the grommets for bungee strapping it to keep wind from tearing it off. I don't have a windshield yet but I know I'll still have plenty of room. Well built heavy materials offering excellent protection from the elements.

This cover beads water nicely and is quite well constructed. Some bikes might do better with a size larger than recommended. I got the recommended small for my Honda CBR 600 and while the cover fits, there is limited slack that causes pools of water to form on top of the cover in heavy rains or snow. The next size up might have prevented this.

So far, I'm pleased with this cover; it looks good and fits over my Honda Shadow. My only complaint is there was some confusion about an inside pocket for an alarm. My girlfriend bought an alarm to go with the cover, but this cover does not have the inside pocket.

Great Cover except...
This cover is very really nice for a good price. I bought the large to cover my KLR650, even though a medium was recommended. I don't think the medium would fit. The only problem I have is with my exhaust pipe. It is well above the metal fabric part of the cover, so I have to wait for it to cool down before covering it.

I am extremely pleased with the cover - the Medium fits my Honda CB1 perfectly and it’s easy to get on and off. Right now its protecting my bike from falling ash from the California wildfires....I highly recommend this cover.

Dowco Guardian Cover
I'm pleased with the construction of the cover- seems very sturdy and is effective in the short time I've had it. I bought it after adding saddlebags to my Suzuki Vstrom. With these, and a topcase, I needed a larger cover. Motorcycle Superstore recommended this as a good fit and it is. However, it tends to "sink" around the mid part of the bike. Maybe the windshield isn't tall enough to hold it taut. I'm going to fix up a brace I guess.

Very Nice Cover
This Bike Cover looks to be very nice. The material is a good thick weight, and the seams appear very sturdy. The fit is very good. My XL fits my 1100 Sabre, with Saddle bags and sissy bar, very well. The elastic is strong, and the bungee for the front wheel is a nice touch. Overall, I am very satisfied.

I have used covers for my cars in the past, but this motorcycle cover is superior to any I've used. The material and water-repellency is excellent. The elastic at the bottom of the cover hugs the motorcycle keeping it well protected, as well as giving air the ability to circulate due to the venting. I would highly recommend this cover to anyone who wishes superior protection for their motorcycle.
