Nice Cover
I bought this cover to use while. My Busa is not stretched, but since it's so long even in stock form, I went with the XL cover. I didn't realize it at the time of purchase, but the Nelson-Rigg symbols on the sides are actually condensation vents. I've only used it for a few nights so far, but it seems to be well made, totally waterproof, and a good fit for my bike.

This is my third cover from nelson-riggs, all have been excellent. This one for my new HD- FLSTC, fits like a glove. Covers all the bike, even the tires. Clears the ground by 1 or 2 ins. Well worth the money, best cover on market for the buck.

Waterproof Cover for Nomad
Cover fits good and should last for a very long time. It is waterproof as advertised but condensation can still make for a very wet bike when conditions are right. It comes with its own pack bag and pack size is fairly large (about the size of a PFD boat cushion) and that may rule it out on tours when space is at a premium.

This is a great motorcycle cover. The XXL size fits my BMW R1150RT perfectly, even with my side and top cases installed. The XXL size also fits my wife’s Honda Silver Wing scooter just right. We use this cover (Falcon Defender 2000) for everyday use and bring lighter covers on trips.

I bought one for my 04 Aero 750 4 years ago , gave that one to my wife last year for her Rebel 250 , bought a cheapy walmart one that lasted a year , sprung for another Nelson Rigg and it is great , bought 2x large for my bike with shield , saddlebags and trunk , perfect fit. Did respray my wifes cover with camp dry and it’s still in great shape!

Product seems as advertised although it has not been in place long enough to decide on durability. Seems very well made but it is JUST big enough for my Guzzi Norge with a trunk. It would be perfect if it was about 3 inches longer (deeper) in front and 6 in back.

Great Cover
The large fits my Suzuki B King and my Suzuki Bandit very well. This cover is waterproof, well vented, and provides excellent coverage to include the chain. A previous cover I had was water resistant, not waterproof, and did not reach down far enough to cover the entire chain. After a heavy rain, my bike would be damp and a light layer of rust would be on the chain's rear section. For the same money, the Nelson Rigg is far superior. The bike stays dry, and the chain is protected.

For a 2003 Honda Shadow ACE 750
The cover seems to be of good quality and utilizes a nice tight elastic chord on the bottom. The hardware all around looks and feels top notch. I ordered a large for my 750cc bike which by description should be large enough. The whole bike gets covered except for about a quarter of the front tire. I will try to sell it, but will buy the same cover one size larger.

BMW K75 Cover Size XL
I own a K75 with the hard panniers, 22 liter top case, belly pan, and the stock "C" fairing with additional height of a laminar lip and the cover fits perfectly. The way I tell which way the cover fits is I look inside before I throw it over the bike and make sure the soft fabric that protects the windshield/fairing built into the cover is toward the front of the bike. Fits like a glove. Hope this helps someone. Oh, this is my second cover I've owned from Nelson Rigg so I'm a return customer on this.

This cover won't let you down. It's light weight enough so you don't have to factor that into your ride. It comes in a convenient storage bag making it easy to tie down to your bike, or even carry it on your back if you need to. The most important thing is that you know that your ride is protected. No rain gets in period! Plus it protects your ride from gawkers when you aren't around. That's always a bonus. One thing to keep in mind that the inside finish of the cover isn't padded and is a little rough, but it won't scratch up your finish at all. Bottom line: If you park your ride outside and you want to protect your ride from UV and the rain, not a bad choice.

Great bike cover!!
I own a 2002 Yamaha Roadstar (about the same size as a Harley Road King) and this cover fits like it was made for it. VERY waterproof!! It's been raining for about 3 weeks now and no water has touched the leather or chrome at all..Very happy with this purchase. As far as durability…Too soon to tell. But it seems to be very strong and well made so I'm confident it will last a long time. So I give it top rating in that category as well.

Great cover
I've had the cover for just over a month and the constant rain for two weeks has given me plenty of time to prove that it's a great cover. The size is perfect (based on this website and Nelson-Riggs size charts), but the size on the Nelson-Riggs packaging is different, which had me worried at first. My only negative is that after riding one day it began raining, so I put on the cover... my mistake, because now the cover has burn holes and has melted in parts. Besides that, it's an excellent cover. Motorcycle Superstore was great also: prompt delivery and good pricing.

Defender Cover on a KLR
I ordered a Large to go over my 2008 KLR 650 with Paris-Dakar nerf bars and soft saddle bags. It fits over everything perfectly, yet isn't too big. No problem with putting it on while the exhaust is still hot. Stayed on during a pretty big wind storm, without even using the bungee tie downs supplied. All in all, I am very satisfied. Only improvement would be to mark which end is the front of the cover....You can't tell until you have it on the bike, so I marked it myself.

Great Cover So Far...
This is my first Nelson-Rigg Falcon cover, and the XXL fit my BMW K1200LT quite well, though I had to put in grommets for the antennae. If you have to do the same, make the holes as close to the base of the antenna as possible where it comes out of the plastic support ferrule that attaches to the bike bracket. The cover has as yet been flawlessly waterproof, and should stay that way awhile, though I expect it wouldn't hurt to give it a yearly double-spray with silicone protectant to keep it that way. I had to change out the thin bungee fastening cord to reach under the bike with a longer one because it was too short. No biggie--just bought bulk cord locally and switched it. Like the lifetime warranty, but haven't had to use it. Had the cover about a month as of 6/09.

Great cover
I live in the northeast and have my bike outside. Even though it's spring, the weather can be pretty harsh. This cover stands up to the elements and, so far, seems very durable. I took some advice from a previous reviewer and ordered a size up. Now, I don't have to struggle getting it on the bike and the cover reaches all the way to the ground, covering the wheels ad tires.
I highly recommend this product.

I missed ice day by a day, but in the mean while, it has rained a bit and the defender seems to live up to its name so far. i followed the sizing chart provided by mss (motorcycle super store)and that chart is a little bit off. It states for up to 1kcc/fully dressed (i believe)the xl should fit, well...i ve got the 08 boulevard thats dressed (windshield,saddlebags)and i just wish i could find other things that fit that tight/snugg. I ended up having to re-order for the 2x,which is overly large, but in this case, a much better fit. Other than sizing, I think that i'll be happy with this product, it does have a life time guarantee and for the price, yes, happy...thanks mss

This is my first cover so I really can't base my judgment off past experience, but it seems like a good buy. I did a lot of research on the net and chose this FD2000. The grommets on the bottom are great for a cable and lock or bungees. I ordered a size up from the guide on the Web site. The XXL fits nicely over my HD Crossbones. It was a little pricey, but worth the money.

I love the cover. I have an '07 Vulcan 1600 Classic. The fit was great. be careful with the bungie hooks that come with it. They are plastic coated on the tip, but I still think that they might scratch paint. I took mine off and the cover fits so well it has held up with some pretty decent wind hitting it. You will not regret purchasing this cover for your prize ride. Quick delivery. I will shop from the superstore again!!

After a lot of checking I decided on this particular cover. Lots of good features and the price was competitive.
Good news: It Is waterproof. Experienced rain recently and had no problems. (Actually felt pleased because the cover ISN"T cheap really, so the waterproof actually working was a relief. Probably the main reason I got it. Finish, materials, construction, all good.
Only negative is: IT fits too tight.
I have a Honda Shadow 750 with a windshield and sissy bar. I was advised to get a size up from the recommended chart so I got a XL, and it would be better if I got an XXL. The problem is it pulls so tight over the windshield that it moves my mirrors every time I use it. It's annoying. Also a larger size would cover the pipes and the lower part of the wheels completely.

This is a very good cover for the price. Good fit and easy to install. The soft inside liner for the winshield is a great feature. Needed the XL for my Electric Glide Classic. The heat resistant bottom is just that, heat resistant, not heat proof. It will burn through if it gets against the hot pipe!

Too big to use as a traveling cover but great for what I bought it for. I have several long trips planned where the bike will be outside for 5-7 days at a time. The cover is great for this usage. I bought the XL for the BMW K1200GT. The cover fits the bike great except for the center bungee cord. It is too short to reach under the bike. To me, this is not a problem as I use a cable to lock the cover on the bike.

I have just purchased the Nelson-Rigg Defender 2000. This is a well made and all weather cover with a strong elastic band at the bottom edge.
I bought this cover because of the Nelson-Rigg product quality and the lifetime warranty. The cover is well worth the higher price compared to the limited warranty covers.
I have also purchased other Nelson-Rigg and Dowco covers in the past and although the covers were well made they only lasted about five years and then began to tear.
With this new Falcon Defender 2000, the life time warranty will extend the lifespan of the cover in all weather conditions.
I purchased the 2X cover and it fits snug on my 2008 Kawasaki Concours. I though the 2X would fit a bit more open on the bike.
The bottom line is this cover is well made and worth the money.

This is my second Nelson-Rigg Falcon Defender 2000. Having tried several other brands, I can say that the F.D. is the only cover that I have found that keep my bikes completely dry in all types of weather. I have no garage so my bikes are always stored outside, covered, in all types of weather. You may pay a bit more, but it's worth it. The X-large pretty well covers my entire Vulcan 500 cruiser, which has saddlebags and a passenger back rest. The medium fits my Suzuki SV650S sport bike tightly, but well.

I don’t have a shed to put my bike in so needed an alternative. This is one well made piece of kit. I bought a large and fits my 08 SV650S like a glove. I can’t comment on durability as yet. A logo or similar to indicate the front from the back would be a welcome edition. I think even when I get my shed project done I will still use this cover to protect my bike. I am extremely happy with this product and would highly recommend as a must have especially if you need to store your bike out in the elements.

Fits like a glove on my 08 900 Vulcan LT with aftermarket light bar and Luggage Rack. Once you get used to which end is the front, goes on quick and easy. Kept everything dry as a bone through a driving 2 day rain. Even where the water pooled, it did not leak through. I have only had it for a month so, the Durability is optimistic from the general impression on quality of the cover.

I bought the large size for my R75/5, by the chart it would be a medium. Always go with one size larger than the chart. I have a Slipstreamer Turbo windscreen and Wixom bags. The large does fit, but a little tight over the shield and a little baggy over the bags. I does cover down to the axels. I do understand that it's not a custom fit cover. The cover's fabric seems quite good, but as others have mentioned the full bungee design takes a little getting used to. The full bungee design does hold the cover on in a decent wind without the need for a strap under the bike.

Great Outdoor Cover!
I bought this cover because I just bought a 07 Ninja 500R and unfortunately live in duplex without a garage. This thing is easy to put on, looks great, and the water just rolls off it! It fits very snug and I am not the least bit worried about wind ripping it up. The lifetime warranty was also a plus. So if your bike is going to be outside this is the perfect cover.

Didnt work for my Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Nomad
I just got the XL size in the mail today and went to try it out on my Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Nomad and it was way too short. I have a windshield and hard case saddle bags and it wouldn’t even fit past the passenger seat. It looks like a great cover and I will try another cover. I Just want to warn those that have a big bike like mine not to order the XL size.

The large cover fits a Yamaha FZ6 very well. It has room for a bit larger bike, but I'm completely satisfied and would recommend a large. The cover goes close to the ground and it is not too loose. There is room for mirrors that are a few inches wider, and a taller windshield if necessary. The sizing on the packaging is pretty helpful.

Good value for the price
I have a Honda Sabre 1100 and the cover works good. I got the XL instead of the large called for by the website. I don't have a windshield but do have a sissy bar and the large would have been way too small. Bike stays dry even in heavy downpours. A little bit of condensation forms at the bottom of the bike only. The bottom of the rims and tires do get wet. I would recommend the cover for anyone who stores their bike outside.

I have an Electra Glide Classic, so I purchased the XL. It fits very snug. After 1 Month of use I am very pleased with the cover. We have had some very strong and windy weather in the last few weeks and the Defender 2000 has been great. I only used the front bungee cord and never had a problem with the cover in 60 mph winds. I would definitely recommend this cover.

The reviews on this website were instrumental in helping to make my decision regarding this purchase. I have had this cover for five weeks and so far so good. It appears to be well made and hopefully will stand up over the long haul. There appears to be no problem putting the cover over the bike while the engine and pipes are still hot. There are two well placed vents to allow heat and/or moisture to escape. I think the cover with the zipper might be easier to use. Also, a soft microfiber type under lining would be a nice addition to assist in protecting the bike's paint and chrome finish. I'm pleased with my purchase and the service I've received from the Motorcycle Superstore. My items arrived exactly on the day quoted. I'll be back!

This is a very durable bike cover; Sizes tend to run small so order the next size up! I’m very much enjoying this cover; it is the second one I have owned. The first was a basic cover, light weight, kinda like a dust cover but strong for all year round use. My current Cover is much thicker and more durable, well worth the money.

This is a great investment. I have a 2007 HD street glide with a tour pack. As well as a 1984 Goldwing with out accessories. I bought the XL but returned it for the XXL which fits good. I have left it out on my Goldwing through several good rain/wind storms. The cover stays on even without hooking the bungee cords. And my bike is always bone dry when I take it off. It is heavy and bulky, but a must if you want a dry bike.

Almost a good thing
This is a great looking and very well fitted cover for my 05' Suzuki SV650. But....I bought it to keep the dew off my bike because the thinner wind breaker/dust cover that I already had was too thin to do this...Unfortunately it doesn't stop the dew from getting under the cover. This in turn allows the dust to collect on the bike and cause problems.

Keeping It Clean
After a month of using the cover, I have found that it is great at doing its job. I haven't really found any downsides to the cover at all. One thing they don't tell you, but I suppose doesn't matter much, is that the grommets are made of plastic. It has rained several times and the bike has remained dry. The sun is constantly on it and the bike has been kept noticeably cooler thanks to the cover. It is a great cover and worth every penny so far.

The cover is better than I have seen. The only problem is with the fit. The chart indicates I buy the XLarge. I have a Honda Shadow VT600 with windshield, saddlebags and sissy bar. The cover is too small to fit over the mirrors and doesn't go to the ground around the bike. I am going to order the XXL when I sell the XL to a friend with a smaller sport bike. Cover is completely water proof and keeps the bike dry by not trapping moisture underneath.

Oustanding, Fits (Larger Older) Honda CBR F2
Due to limited funds, I felt I was over-spending as I finally decided to get this cover. Wrong: one the best purchases I've made. Now I don't have to fold back my mirrors as I had to with the cover I got with the bike because there is plenty of width in that area of the cover. I decided to go with one size higher (XL) because I built a baggage rack system for the bike, making it longer by about a foot. I chose the Defender 2000 because the fabric is a bit thicker than the model below it. Bottom line: I am extremely pleased with it. So much so that I left a note for Nelson-Rigg stating so when registering online. And shipping from Motorcycle Superstore was just as excellent.

Falcon Defender cover
I really like the Defender 2000 with one exception, no provision for antennas? I find I have to either remove the antenna or bend it over towards the handle bars. Removing the antenna is a problem if we're out on a ride.

Waterproof
This is a great cover if you’re looking for something heavy and waterproof. Be VERY careful if you own a tourer and have a windshield, the liner for the mirrors and windshield is very small. I returned this for the Kuryakyn, it covers my 2008 C14 much better.

Great Actually Waterproof Cover
This is a great and actually waterproof cover. I purchased a cheaper model for almost the same price and it was NOT waterproof. The Falcon Defender 2000 cover will keep the rain out and your bike dry when you remove the cover.

I looked and looked and decided on this cover due to past reviews. I was not disappointed. I have an H-D Dyna Super Glide Custom and the cover fits very well, covers entire bike easily. Well made and the material is very durable. Would fit easily if I had a windshield.

Good cover
I recently moved to Ohio, and since I don't have a garage, knew I'd need to get a good cover for my bike over the winter. I previously had a cheap-o Nelson-Rigg cover that was very thin, and melted instantly onto the pipe the first time I used it (that was my fault, though). This cover is heavy-duty, good construction. Not sure how heat resistant the lower “heat resistant” paneling is, don't really want to test that. It fits *very* tight on my Honda VT750 (with a passenger backrest), which is good and bad. I tend to have to readjust my mirrors every time I take it off, but at least I know it's doing a good job protecting my bike.

Good for the price
The product is nice, doesn't cover my small 600cc down past the tires. Leaves about 5 inches showing on each tire, but any larger and the cover would pick up too much wind. Your seat will get a little wet when it rains hard, but it does the job. You'll need a lock with a large loop, the grommets are big, but well fastened.

Purchased this cover (size Large) for a new 2007 Suzuki SV-650. Order arrived within a week, well packaged. Fit is perfect, the size guide is right on. No droops, etc. when on the bike. There are small bungees to keep it tight on the bottom, nice feature. The backpack is a nice touch also, makes it portable. Overall very nice product, recommended buy.

Nelson Riggs Falcon Defender 2000
I bought this to cover my '07 BMW K1200GT which is equipped with a top case, side cases and a windshield. All in all, it is an excellent cover; well constructed and easy to manipulate. I originally ordered the size large, but had to return it for a size extra-large to accommodate the size of my bike. The carrying case with back-pack style shoulder straps is a plus.

This is my second cover by this mfg. First was a small sun cover that I used for years as my only cover and it was a really good product but I ran into a problem w/ coverage when I spent time near the ocean. The Defender provides complete coverage for my Heritage Softail and is a great fit. Well made and an overall wonderful product.

I have a carport and a new Harley 2007 Classic. I had another Harley before that suffered some of the effects of nature (rain, humidity). This cover fits great and is keeping ALL the moisture, dew, humidity, and rain off my bike in the carport. It packs great into the backpack style bag that came with it. I have also put it on with hot pipes, fresh from riding. This *IS* exactly what they say and is the real deal. Worth every penny!

The size chart says a LARGE cover will fit my K1200RS. As I have bags on the bike, I purchased an X-LARGE cover and it fits like a glove. The cover is of high quality and to date has been water proof. This cover is far better than a BMW cover. The weight material makes it easy to install and store in a BMW pannier case. Defender 2000 Cover
An excellent product... Very sturdily made, waterproof, with hard rubber vents. Soft enough inside (and roomy enough too) to not scratch or crowd my large windscreen. Snug elastic so it stays on in high wind, but it also has tie down grommets to bungee through my spokes if necessary. Great price too!!!
