Econo cover
I have a 2007 Kawasaki KLR 650, needed an inexpensive basic waterproof cover, the sizing is waaay off... started with a medium size, returned it for a large, which says it will fit a Harley (it never would) what I really need an extra large, and my bike currently does not have any luggage bags. It’s a good cover for the money but go 2X bigger when sizing for your bike... I love doing business with the Motorcycle Superstore!

This is a cheap cover I use for my garage storage and it works perfect for that. It is a plastic/ vinyl cover so not to great on the fresh paint on my Road King but a good fit and does its job. Can’t beat the price.

Cover fits the bike well, but very light hence very easy to tear, a sharp part in the bike can easily make a hole in it, would go for the more expensive one for better durability.

Good Quality
I purchased this as a dust cover for winter storage for my motorcycle. Very good quality, fit was good, and I like the grommets on the bottom for securing the cover tightly to the bike, for indoor covering it is excellent.

Good Cover
This cover is just what I needed for a good price. It fits my 2000 Night Train (no windshield) very well and keeps the rain out. The tie down grommets are plastic and there is no heat shield for a hot exhaust (my muffler is covered my the bags) so that will affect the durability but overall a good cover for the price.

It is what it is.
It is exactly what it is, an econo cover for a MC. It is vinyl so it does not breathe which means that condensation under the cover is possible. There are however, two vents designed to vent the moisture but it is not clear to me at this point how well they work. Also, there is no soft inner liner. It should be OK for inside storage over the winter but since this is my first winter using the cover, I won't know until Spring. On reconsideration, I think I would have preferred a better grade cover.

This cover fits my 2005 Honda Shadow great! It does the job of keeping off rain and doesn't need to be tied to keep from blowing off since the fit is snug to the bike. I got an x-large. I don't currently have a windshield or other accessories, so I would say to buy bigger if you have these accessories. Great cover and a real great price!

Very economic cover
The cover is made from a stretchy feeling material, if you were to man handle it on the bike it would surely rip. NEVER put this cover on when the bike is hot as it will burn instantly. Also consider buying a size bigger, I have a cbr125, which is a very small bike, but I bought a medium because I plan on upgrading and would be able to use the same cover, the medium fits a little snug. there are vents on the side to get rid of trapped moisture, these do not work at all on one morning when I took the cover off the bike was covered in condensation, only use this cover to keep the rain off the bike not everyday use as there will be moisture that will get trapped inside causing more damage.

Light cover better for travel
I had purchased this cover just to keep my bike safe from the rain. The rings at the bottom of the cover are great for a cable lock to fit through but within just one fitting it ripped by one of the rings. It seems to be great for quick traveling but seems too light to keep as a permanent cover. I figure the cover will last up to 2 months and then I'll have to look elsewhere for a winter solution as the northeast is rough.

Is ok to keep water out, but buy 12 of them to last you a year...
For a universal cover it fits pretty nice (on my GSXR-600), but it tears very easily...started getting little holes in it all over allowing water to leak in, then when I shook it off the other day a 2' long hold ripped into it. Poor grommets, also doesn't allow for ventilation...traps a lot of moisture.

Great for the price.
I bought this cover to keep the sun off my Ninja 650R while it's in the parking lot at work. I needed the 2XL size because I have a Givi topcase trunk. It covers the bike completely and is pretty easy to put on. I don't know how long it will last before the sun eats it up. But at this price, it doesn't matter. If I get a year out of it, I'm happy.

Good Cover For The Price
I've been using this cover for about a month. They fit the bikes and stay in place, with tie-down holes along the bottom, and durable, water-proof material. However, there is no elastic band along the bottom, as I'm used to. This is a very bare-bones cover, and doesn't offer much, but doesn't cost much either. Considering the value, I would recommend this cover.

I wish I had ordered the XXL size due to the make and model of my bike. I ride a VTX 1800S2 which is longer than most "Cruiser" type bikes. Otherwise it's a great cover for the price for what I use it for (cover bike in garage).

Great Cover
This cover was bought for a HD 883cXL without a windsheild. This cover is very snug. I bought the Large one for my bike. For anyone whom is planning on getting a windsheild and saddle bags then go for the next size up. The material is very stretchy and durable. No leaks from massive rainstorms. Great buy for the buck. Will purchase again when I get a new bike! Highly recomended.

Aptly Named
While this Econo Cover serves its job of covering a motorcycle very dutifully, the econo aspect of it is never far behind. On sunny days, the plastic softens to a near bubble-gum consistency, leaving one afraid to pull too hard on it and having it tear a hole against a handlebar.
At the same time, $20 is a great price for something that protects the entire motorcycle against the rain perfectly. I just wouldn't leave it on through an month week of sunny hot days.

I ordered the XL cover thinking it would be plenty big enough for my VTX 1800 S2. The problem I had was with the length. I could not cover the whole bike. So, if you have a VTX 1800 Model S2, I would get the 2XL. Otherwise it's a great cover for the money paid.

Great solution to a Problem
I was buying the expensive Defender series cover, but I kept getting them stolen! Since I went to this class, I haven't had one stolen. They don't stand up to the California sun, though. They last me three months in hot weather. The sun cooks them, but they are cheap enough to replace.

Nelson-Rigg - Econo Cover = great deal
Great cover for the price, nothing more to say. I gave it 3's on finish, durability and features not because I'm unhappy with it, but because it simply does the job. One thing to keep in mind, the cover seems to run smaller than you'd think. I ride a SV650s, and was aware of this, so I went with a large, and it fits great. I can't imagine you wanting anything smaller than a large as long as you ride a 600 or bigger.

Simple and Effective for Non-Hostile Environments
Inexpensive and it does the trick. I use the Econo primarily as a dust cover in the garage, but it's also worked well in a few quick summer rainstorms. I concur with the other reviewers who question it's durability in severe weather; if this is what you need, look elsewhere. Otherwise, if you want something simple and inexpensive for inside or occasional outside protection, this one should do the trick. Note that I ordered the XL for a relatively stock '01 DL1000, and the size was spot on.

I have a Harley 883 I ordered a med size cover and found it a bit small, It dose work but is not easey to get on. My thinking a 883 would fall in the small to mid range size of motorcycles but should have got a large.

This is the worst outdoor cover that I have ever seen. it is way too thin in order for it to do its job correctly. it tears so easily if something just grazes by it or it will rip a hole in itself by just removing it from the bike if it is a hot day and the cover is hot.

It works
It covers the bike what else can you say. So far has been a good product. Its soft and it covers the bike well. Feels like it could rip easily but so far I haven’t had a problem, and I wouldn’t put it on a hot exhaust either. Price was OK but I found it elsewhere cheaper after I bought it. For the price if you need a cover I would recommend it just know that its not the quality of a $100-200 cover.

There are lighter covers out there, this is basically just a cover with no liner, but for dust and keepin' your bike clean - it works - PERIOD! If it gets dirty - just hose it off..

I like my cover but I have had a few problems. After second or third use I found a small hole in the cover. Grommets aren’t very strong. If you pull bungees too tight they will rip. It would be a great cover I think if you were to just put it on your bike for storage like over the winter but not so much for everyday use.

This cover is alright. It does the job of being water repellent and covering your motorcycle or scooter (which is what I have). The material is pretty soft and pliable and looks decent enough. It's pretty thin and light which makes for easy folding. The only drawback is that it melts pretty easy when it touches anywhere on the exhaust. So I have some holes in my cover. It won't be permanent on your exhaust though, because it vaporizes. So no worries about marks.

About Cover!
It is easy to tear when putting on, or taking off. My bike is outside all year round for now, so this cover in my mind will not last. It has got up to almost 80 degrees here already, and the cover gets real warm, and feels like it could melt. Let's hope for the best.

Small Econo cover fits Honda Metropolitan
I previously ordered the medium size, as it was recommended for scooters. It was too big for my 2006 Honda Metropolitan, so I used it to cover my bicycle. I ordered the small one, and it fits very nicely. I don't have the trunk attachment, which might have necessitated the medium cover, but I believe the small size would still suffice, even with the trunk.

Cheap, in the worst sense of the word.
While this is an inexpensive cover, it also appears to be CHEAP in the worst way. While installing the cover, it snagged on the lever and ripped apart. The small cover might fit a 50cc minibike or a small scooter, but I'd hesitate to try it with anything larger since the fact that a slight snag on the handlebar caused the material to rip apart shows that this is not good quality material. I'll be following up with Nelson-Rigg to see if this is possibly a defective cover. I've used their ‘Defender’ cover before which I felt was excellent, but I'm very unimpressed with the Econo-Cover.

It covers your bike
I bought the large size for my 1984 Magna vf 500. The front tire sticks out, but everything else is covered. Maybe I should have gotten a larger size. The plastic it’s made of reminds me of those inflatable swimming pool rafts. I ripped a seam the second time I put it on. It stills does its job.

Great Cover . . . Even Better Price
I've had this cover for a couple weeks now. Unfortunately, this is my only covered parking, but the cover performs very well. Easy to put on and remove. Stands up to the ultimate test . . . L.A. lawn mowers, who seem determined to make me wash my bike every time I ride. I bought an XL for my ZX6R to ensure the cover went completely to the ground. It does and there is plenty of excess, which is good to tuck around the wheels. You would probably be fine with a large.

This cover is awesome!
I park outside and need to fully protect my bike from the harsh year round sun. More "fitted" covers may look more stylish but my tires still poke out a bit and suffer sun damage. This one goes all the way to the ground. It is a little harder to put on the bike because of the sturdy material but it provides more protection from the elements.

They are so good I bought one for my wife's bike also. Very soft but sturdy. Can be stored very easy in a small spot. Even has vents and reinforced tie down holes. One minor downside. You must let bike cool down so exhaust does not melt material but I would not put any cover on hot bike. Would you?
