This cover is actually an excellent fit for my 2009 Suzuki SV650. It completely covers the entire motorcycle and the finish is great. The cost is ok for what its worth. It has been subjected to a moderate rain at least twice since its use, but not a heavy rain yet, so I can't say, with surety, that it meets my overall standards, but so far it has done well. Sometimes there's a bit of moisture on the seat and undercarriage, but I'm not exactly sure of the reason because I found not evident holes in those areas. For the most part, the item works well.

I've gone through three covers for my motorcycle in less than 5 years. I am forced to leave my bike outside in the direct sunlight due to my living situation, and the covers do get a lot of wear, but I've still been disappointed with their longevity. I've only had the Nelson-Rigg cover (my first) for a month, so it's hard to judge its long-term strength, but I'm impressed so far. For the price I payed, it fits perfectly, is the nicest looking cover I have had yet, and it seems to be pretty durable too. Only time will tell if it can hold up to the wear-and-tear that it will inevitably be receiving through use and sunlight exposure. So far, so good.

This is my third Nelson-Rigg cover. I live in a very rainy climate. My Nelson-Rigg covers last very well in this environment. The first cover is still in use (12 years). It is well worn but still serves as a dust cover in the winter when the scooter is stored in my workshop. My latest cover which I have had for about a month is on my new bike. I was even able to get a matching color (burgundy). The fit is good and the bike is protected from rain and UV rays. I am a very satisfied Nelson-Rigg customer.

Sizing of a the Nelson-Rigg Deluxe
First of all, I was impressed by the packaging of this product. Since I lack a garage, I wanted a cover to keep bird crap off my bike, and keep water from having a chance to stand on the seat. Shortly after I got the cover, we had five days of nearly constant rain. The first day it did not rain, there was still standing water on the streets in most areas, but none on my bike. I was very impressed. The Medium fits a (mostly) stock 2006 Suzuki Katana quite nicely, although a little more tire shows than in the image. There are cuts in the fabric for your rearview mirrors, and covered air vents to allow the bike to breath beneath the bike. Along the bottom are hooks that can be used to lash the cover to the bike. Very good quality.

This is my second Nelson-Rigg cover, so I am a repeat customer and that in itself says a lot. This is a quality cover that fits well and holds up to the terrible UV that we have in southern Arizona. I recently purchased a Deluxe All Season cover for my '98 Honda Shadow Aero. I was worried about the fit wondering if it would cover the high windshield and still reach the ground. When I received the cover I was very happy to see all my expectations were met. The fit was excellent and the finish was great. I have only had the cover for a couple of weeks so I cannot attest to the durability however the construction and features of the cover seem to be top notch and I see no reason not to expect the cover to last a long time.

My V Star Silverado 650 has accessories which contribute to the poor fit (luggage rack, high backrest). The tie downs that come with it are useless. It is a great dust cover and will keep the morning dew off. It is extremely durable, 60 to 70 mph straight line winds, did not tear or cause my bike to fall over. Wish I had spent the extra money for something 100% waterproof. This one leaks badly even in a light rain.

Good fitting cover
The cover is well made. It is light weight and it fits my Street Bob great. I have saddle bags a rack and sissy bar. I also have a fairly high windshield. Although I gave it a 5 for durability, it is too soon to tell for sure how well it will hold up. I have only used it a few days in the rain and sun.

Good Cover for A Reasonable Price
This is my first motorcycle cover purchase. It fits more snugly than I thought it would, but it covers the entire bike, including the exhaust and floor boards. (The bike, a Suzuki Volusia 800, does not have a windshield or saddlebags.) I am not sure how well it will fit once we put a windshield on the bike, especially since we park it with the handlebars locked, but we'll see.

This cover does what it’s supposed to do. It covers the bike. I ride a Yamaha R6S and picked up a "large"... it fits perfectly. The quality of the material is pretty good and it doesn't trap too much/any moisture underneath so the bike stays fresh and ready to go. A pretty good value for a decently built cover. I've purchased other "Nelson-Rigg" products before and have never been let down.

Shadow Spirit shows her ankles but good coverage
Just like in that little picture, you can see the tops of the rims of my 2002 Shadow Spirit, and I have wire rims, so that makes it challenging to keep clean, but the rest of the bike stays neat and tidy. There are no PUDDLE PLACES for water to gather, it covers my saddlebags, my sissy bar, and there’s plenty of room for my mirrors. Great purchase.

Great Cover Up!!
What a great cover, light but secure. Covers well but small to pack. I took this cover with me to the BMW MOA Rally in Tennesee last week and used it in significant (can you say torrential!?!?!?) downpours and the bike stayed dry and ready to ride. Heavy rain, gusts to 40 mph and parked on a hill with muddy grass all around. Secure and dry. No problems. Worked great; better than expected.

Exceeded expectations
This cover fits my hyosung gt250 perfect I ordered a large. My bike is very similar in size to a suzuki sv 650. I read another review from a sv owner were they said a large fit their bike and new it would fit mine. It covers both the front and the back wheel and even has built in bun-gee cords with sewn in rings. It is a lot thicker than a lot of covers I see on bikes around town. It has poured on my bike and it has remained clean. I have even accidently put it on over my hot bike (and then quickly removed it) with out it melting. Can't recommend this cover enough. This is a very high quality cover.

Good quality for a good price
I bought the Nelson-Rigg - Deluxe All Season cover to protect my Honda Shadow 750cc, which unfortunately sits outside, under a lot of messy trees. It's still early days, but it has held up very nicely against the tree debris and monsoon-like Summers of South Florida. Can imagine this cover lasting quite some time under the right conditions. The cover looks nice for the price. Seems to be fairly well constructed. I apparently didn't wait long enough after riding to put it on my second to last time out though and came back to find holes in the cover and burnt plastic adhered to my chrome pipes. I'll acknowledge that this was mostly my fault, but I was vaguely baffled as I thought I'd waited as long as I had on previous coverings.

Bought a medium for my 06 suzuki sv650s and it fits it just right (just tight enough). I can't say much for durability since I just bought it, but the construction seems good. Only gave it a 4 for features because some people might want extra stuff like pouches or something like that, but it has all that I wanted being waterproof and has venting on the sides. It rained last night so I pulled it off, and the bike is completely dry, just what I wanted. I bought the navy and silver and I also like the way it looks.

I have had the cover for a little over a month and so far so good. It covers my 1300 (with saddle bags) without any effort and the vents are great. I have not noticed any moisture build up of any kind. It keeps the pollen off the bike when I don't ride it for a couple of days. I cover my bike when I ride it to work and the cover protects the bike from the birds and the occasional afternoon shower.

Overall a great cover for the money
I have an FZ-6 which is a larger size sport bike and this cover fits well. The material is thinner than what you would think an "all season" spec cover would be. It does keep out the rain and has vents for ventilation. Comes with a storage bag. I would recommend this for summer only more than all season. Also works as an indoor dust cover. Not for towing.

I have had the cover for about two months or so now and use it daily. The fit is pretty good (M on a FZ6). It has faded a lot already, but the sun is pretty strong here. Don’t think I would get black again if I can avoid it (didn't want bright colors either). my only complaint is that it got a little bit of oil on the heat protective stuff on the bottom (from a drip tube, oil cooled) and now whenever it comes into contact with anything, it leaves a silver smudge mark that is kind of hard to get off.

Good overall value
I have a 1300 V Star Tourer. This cover is snug, but fits well. I am planning on getting a shorter shield which I think will make it fit better. I can just barely hook it over the front fender, but not over the tire. Not a problem for me. One gripe with a few covers (including this one), is that they are made to fit with the handlebars straight. Unfortunately when I park my bike the front wheel falls over to the left, which pulls the cover way out of alignment. Not a problem on a stand for long term storage, but I've never understood why the cover makers don't put an extra fold of material on the right side to compensate for this.

I ordered a size medium for my Hyosung GV250. Currently my bike has no accessories and the cover fits well. It's snug over the wheels so I know it isn't going to fly off the bike. Saddle bags will definitely fit under the cover, but I'm not too sure about a windshield. Won't be a problem if I need a bigger size when I get a windshield, because the cost was right. It's already rained a few times and the bike has stayed dry.

Passable cover but not the best buy
Cover barely fits a full-dress R100; this makes it perilous to put on if the engine is hot. Should have gone a size up. "Aluminized" skirt melts as quickly as any cover if it contacts a hot surface. Water/dust proofing is excellent and it folds up to a very compact size.

After only a month of having the cover there has been a lot of fading in comparison to a Harley Davidson cover that I had just replaced that I have had for over eight years. The nelson-rigg is a very durable, very nice looking cover. The cover fits my yzf600r fairly snug but doesn't fully cover over the back wheel. I'd order one size larger than the chart if I were to order another. Besides that and the slight color fading after about 2 months of use, it is a great cover.

Great to finally have a cover that fits!
I've never put much thought or research into my bike covers, and usually bought whatever was cheapest at cycle gear or the local mart of choice. I have a Ninja 250 and unfortunately most stores only seem to stock large or X-large covers, and while these easily cover the bike, they were much too large and would leave a lot of excess cover to tuck under the tire, or blow around like crazy in the wind. After having 2 covers torn to shreds from the elements & wind, I decided I should invest in something that actually fits the bike. I purchased this cover in medium even though one of the previous reviews said they thought it was a bit snug on the ninja, they agreed the large would be too large.
While it is a little snug, I finally feel that this is how a cover is supposed to fit a bike! Looks more like the picture instead of a sail flapping in the wind! I gave the durability a 4 as like most reviewers, I've only had it for a short amount of time, but it feels thicker than previous covers I've had, and I think without the extra wear and tear from flapping around it should hold up to the seasons quite well! Would buy again at this point.

Great cover at a low price
The cover fits my Kawasaki ninja250 perfectly. there is a little extra room but not too much that it flaps around. The two bungees that come with are not really necessary as the elastic around the bottom hold it on very well. While it does seem to have some heat protection at the bottom, I wouldn't chance putting it over a hot exhaust pipe. The front of the cover on the inside has a softer material to protect the windshield which is nice and the storage bag is a nice plus.

Yeah, it works. Fits very nicely on my Honda CB 350. Folds up without too much hassle and tucks into my backpack for travel too. Keeps the rain off and hasn't blown off in the couple storms we've had since I bought it. Overall, seems like a good buy.

It's a great cover but the only problem is that it doesn't keep all the rain out. It does seem to get inside somehow. Other than that though it fits perfect with no excess to get caught in the wind, plus the price wasn't horrible. Still a great cover.

Fit is great except it left a small amount of front wheel exposed. This may have been due to the windshield we have on bike though. The lettering on the front makes it easy to put on properly. ( It lets you know where the front of the cover is.)

Nice Cover
This is a nice cover that fits my Ninja 250 quite well. The inner lining is a nice protection for the bike and it grips the bike well. Even though I haven't tested it in adverse conditions it seems like it will hold up well. It comes with its own storage bag, which is a nice plus. Overall it was a good item for a good price.

Very Waterproof!
This cover is kind of thin, but it is very waterproof! I have a thicker, more durable Dowco Guardian, but it lets even dew on the bike. The XL didn't fit my VLX 600 or my 250 scooter w/large trunk. Very fast return service got the XXL in my hands in no time. Hopefully it covers my up and coming VT 1100 or VTX 1800! Thanks for the great sale price of $25!

I ordered XL for our Nighthawk 650s and they fit great. Both bikes have full size windshield/fairings and seat packs. Good thing I read the other reviews. Don't know how long it will last since I just put them on. I checked 5 anyway....

Great price, great cover. Works and fits like the advert says it will. My V-Strom thinks it has a crib in upper Manhattan. I'm having the leather interior of my Audi convertible replaced with this stuff. The top too. Then I am going to re-upholster my living room furniture with it and have tailor made suits done up in this material! Different colors of course. I'm also having a golf umbrella made out of it. Thumbs up, 5 gold stars, and a Smiley face with a pirate patch. If you buy only one cover, this one will do you right.

Pretty good cover. Good quality. I bought a X-large to cover up my cruiser that is dressed up & accessorized, as well as my sports bike as I alternate riding the bikes to work & it definitely does its job, keeping it from getting too dirty where I keep it outside. The sizing works out because it fits my dresser(cruiser) perfect(kinda tight) whereas it's very loose on the sports bike, which turns out good cuz it's a lot easier to put on.

I'm replacing a Dowco cover that lasted for five years. I have been using this cover for about two months, so I cannot rate its durability (hence a 3 score). Compare to the Dowco, is much lighter, it has two fastening cords with hooks, a windshield protective fabric that is more like a "shirt" fabric k rather than a "pajama" fabric. The vent is better located on this cover. Overall I’m pleased with this purchase. It remains to be seen how long it will last.
Prospective buyers should be aware that this cover is smaller that the Dowco for the same designation. I used to have another large Dowco than covers a naked bike with side cases and windshield, while the XL Nelson Rigg barely covers a Vespa GT with windshield and top case.

It is a great thing that Superstore gives you the access of reader comments....I read from many reviews that it would be a great idea to get the "next size bigger" - especially if you have a windshield / or saddlebags. I opted to get the XL, and when I got it - it went on the bike with great ease, and it covered that bike better than I expected. Now I feel better than usual the usual "bedsheet cover". looks great too!

I bought the XL for my BMW F800ST with the saddle bags. Perfect fit. I have only used it a few times, so I can't say anything about durability, but the quality appears very good. It easily folds up and while it doesn't fold as compactly as from the factory, it does fit back into the storage bag! Great value for the money!

This a an excellent cover for my 2008 Suzuki M50 with sissybar/backrest and Willie & Max saddlebags. I first ordered the X-Large and found it was too tight of a fit. I returned it for the 2X-Large and it now fits great. I do suggest you get the 2X-Large even if you're not using saddlebags.

I recently purchased a Nelson-Rigg Deluxe All Season Cover for my Ultra Classic from Motorcycle Superstore. It shipped immediately and arrived in days. A nice change from other retailers that make you wait weeks or even months to get items in stock.
For a cover meant to fit numerous bikes it fit my bike very well, pleasantly surprised. It is light weight like I wanted and appears to be well constructed. I've only had it for about a month so I really can't comment on its durability. I bought it during a sale for $25 an incredible bargain.

This is a very nice motorcycle cover for the price. It is very well made and comes with its own storage bag. I have an 2006 Honda VTX1300 Retro with a windshield, light bar, backrest and saddle bags. Using the size chart, a "large" should have fit it perfectly but it won't quite cover all of the rear fender. (Approx. 2 inches still shows) All in all, I would recommend the cover.

The cover was much lighter weight than I expected for a "deluxe all season", with a cheesy, papery feel. But it seems to be standing up to the snows we've had recently. It acts more like non-stick material and the snow slides off. We'll see what it looks like in the spring after more snow and rain. It replaced a Dowco "heavy duty" which literally fell apart at the seams (and everywhere else) after two winters. So far I'm impressed. I was hoping for the best with the low price and it seems to be a bargain.

For the money this may be the best out there. My local shop sells covers as "low as $84.99-$104.99"!!! We had a serious wind storm, recently, and my beloved Suzuki stays outside, under a carport, where the wind is not broken at all. I came home during the storm, to find the cover shuddering noisily in the wind, but had not torn, and the elastic straps kept it securely attached. I added some rope around the bike in a couple of places to reinforce, but the cover held together well. I honestly did not expect it to hold up to 70mph plus winds, that brought down tree limbs, blew garbage cans onto the frozen lake where we live, and knocked over wood privacy fence sections. It held up, without a single tear in the fabric.

Very nice cover for the price. Bought a large size for my dad's H-D Street Glide. Maybe should have been a bit bigger depending on how you want it to fit. The fit is quit snug but not to tight. Covers halfway down front wheel and halfway down rear wheel. It has a nice feel to it. It is definitely a good cover for the price. I would recommend it to anyone.

This cover is well made and seems like it will last longer than other covers I've owned for the same price. The XL model fit perfectly on my Triumph Trident 900, and covered all but the bottom third of the wheels. For bikes with fairings, the largest size would be necessary. I've owned the cover for about a month or so and it still looks brand new - I rated the durability as 4 only because of the short time of use. I would not hesitate to recommend this cover.

Bought this cover for my Super Hawk of which I had just added Givi tail luggage to. I thought the large size would cover it. It doesn't. It's a middle weight cover with strong stitching with a nicely finished material. I passed it along to my son for his Ducati which it fits perfectly. If it were outside in severe weather, I would opt for heavier weight material. Our bikes are in a garage and the tops are just for added protection. For this use, it's well made and very sharp looking.

I bought this to cover a 1985 Honda Nighthawk 700S when in storage. Size-Medium. Fits perfect, on the tight side of the scale. If my bike was 1-2 inches longer, it would be too tight to pull over the wheels. However, the large would have been too baggy. Smart design and nicely tailored. Nice elastic bottom hem, and soft nylon material. Has cool hooded vents on each side to allow air to circulate. Grommets around skirt to secure outside, although mine is on in the garage. Overall, great cover for under $50. Glad I didn't spend more on anything fancier, this one is a gem!

The cut of the cover is much wider at the handle bar area so fit is dependent on handle bar location. On my bmw r100gs, the xl cover I bought is a little floppy at the bars but covers a little less at the bottom than I would like. Suggest you buy 1 size larger than chart calls for. Overall the cover is well made and great for indoor storage.

The XL wouldn't fit my VLX 600 with sm. windshield, sm. saddle bags and sissy bar, completely. My 250 scooter with windshield and lg. rear trunk wouldn't even get the wheels or foot boards covered. Traded for the XXL and all is well! Material seems thin, but is more water proof than my other, thicker, sturdier, Dowco Guardian cover (medium fits 600). Dew on NR cover, but bike is dry! Thanks for speedy, no hassle return!

Fits my 500cc Buell Blast very nice and snug. Not so loose that it gets blown off. Comes with 2 bungee cords to help keep it secure at the front wheel and under the frame near the kick stand. For the price ($25 + free shipping) I am very satisfied. I gave durability a "3" since I just got it last month and don't know how long it will last.

Had the cheapest cover Motorcycle Superstore sold and it didn't even last 6 months. Purchased this cover and it's 10 times better at only 2 times the price. Purchased the X-large for my fully dressed Triumph Trophy and it fits like a glove, even with the top box. The hooks and bungies broke on my cheap cover the first time I tried to tie the cover down. On this cover the hooks are metal and they fit in the hole on the other side. I currently have a medium windshield fitted, but I don't think this cover would work with my Clearview XL.

This cover is nicely made, comes in a handy little bag, folds into a pretty small space, and looks fine. Towards the top it has what looks like an upside down hip pocket, to allow ventilation and yet keep the rain out. Fits my 1800 Goldwing perfectly (with spoiler, antenna folded down) Much cheaper than many other covers offered, but no reason to think it won't last many years, even if it sits outside. Would buy again.

Great custom-like cover
I bought this for my 93 Kawasaki Vulcan with a tall windshield. You would think the cover was custom made. Awesome fit. Elastic for front and rear tires, and the vent holes keep the air flowing without taking the cover off. Grommet holes are nice for adding a bungee cord or cable lock too. Thoughtfully designed. Thank you. Would/will buy another one...in time.

I bought this cover when I moved to Baltimore because I no longer had a garage. I needed something to protect it from the rain, snow and ice, all of which have fallen so far. The cover held up great under all conditions. There are no tears or anything in it so far. I've had the cover for about a month now and no regrets. It's a pretty tight fit, a little smaller than expected. I have a 650cc with windshield and bags and cruising bars and it doesn't quite fit down over the tires, but it does cover everything else nicely. I don't cover the pipes because they're too hot, but it over hangs enough and still shields them from most of the elements. Love the bungee straps! Great buy for the price. I'm loving it!

I have only had the cover about a week now and from what I can tell its a good cover. I ride a Honda 599 (small right?) and originally ordered a medium size which turned out to be too small. The large fits it good. The elastic is tight (for the time being), and thats great except I ride every day so with taking it on and off everyday I'm careful not to snag it on the bike which may cause it to rip like others I've had. The material is kinda thin but decent enough. Also, I haven't noticed much moisture when I take it off.

It's nice that it comes with bungee cords on the bottom - hassle to put on when not needed inside. When I park it outside - the cords will be good to keep it in place.

XX-Large Nelson Rigg Deluxe Cover
I bought this for my 05 Yamaha FJR 1300 with hard side bags and Givi V46 top case. Amazingly enough, the cover fits like a glove with or without the bags and top case. The workmanship seems very good and the cover is made of pretty heavy material. The only draw back I have seen is that the front tie down grommet and tie down should be moved rearward about 6 inches. It is right under and in the middle of the front tire. I don't know if it would extend low enough in the rear with the top case to cover stock mufflers but it covers the Brothers system perfectly. I knocked it down a notch in the durability simply because I don't know how long or well it will hold up. Time will determine that. But, overall, it is a quality cover at a very good price and as always The Motorcycle Superstore delivered on time and as advertised. This is my second Nelson Rigg cover and I'm just as pleased with this one as I was with my first. This one is a medium and fits my wife's '07 FZ6 like a glove. I only use it for inside storage, but I have used my other one for the occasional outside storage on longer trips, and it's held up quite well!

All Season Motorcycle Cover
This is my 5th product purchase through Motorcycle Super Store and you're still bating 100. The cover fits perfect on my Victory cruiser, wind shield and all. So far it has only had to weather against some light rain and early morning frost. Even though it's weather proof, it can still be folded up small enough to fit in a saddle bag with some room to spare. The instructions on how to determine the right cover size take all guess work out of the decision.

Bike Cover
This cover seems to be just what I wanted and expected. I mainly just needed a dust cover and this fits the bill well. I have a H/D Electra Glide Ultra and the entire bike is covered. The only thing lacking is holes for the antennas, but I knew that going in. With a little help from a seamstress, I should be able to resolve this problem. In the meantime, I'll just keep folding them down. One improvement that could be made is the cloth area for the windshield should be a few inches larger front to back. Other than that, I am extremely pleased with this product and the service, as usual, was excellent.

Great Cover for the Price
I store my bike outside year-round exposed to the sun, rain, and snow. My last cover lasted 3.5 years and only started tearing during wind storms. Having a snug fit helps prevent damage as it flails around in the wind. XL was too loose for my SV650, L is a perfect snug fit. Highly recommended, especially at this price.

Excellent cover
I ordered this cover according to the size chart. I have a Kawasaki ZR-7, and it couldn't fit more perfect. I was worried before I received it that it would probably be too tight and hard to get on...I was wrong. I love it! My Nelson Rigg motorcycle cover fits my bike like a glove and the price was well within my budget. We live in a wooded area and little animals of all types wonder on to my property and like to sit upon the seat, the cover will help to prevent this and afford some dust and weather protection as well. I ordered a different cover from a different manufacturer from Motorcycle Superstore that didn't quite fit and they were great about their return policy my credit card was credited the amount in a timely manner and I was able to reorder the Nelson Rigg cover and received it within a few days. I would buy more products from Motorcycle Superstore without hesitation. Quality products at competitive prices.

Good Cover
The cover is very well made and the material is good quality. It is a little smaller than I expected but it does fit over the windscreen and side cases on my BMW GS100. The last Nelson-Rigg cover I had featured a different colored panel on the tail section which made it easier to figure out the direction of installation. I'm pretty happy with it over all and will probably buy another one when this one wears out.

Excellent choice
I think that this cover is really a good deal. We have had several storms with high winds and the cover stayed in place. Had to order another one though because mind was stolen. I guess it is a good cover!

Exactly what I wanted, and what the bike needed
I drive a Honda Nighthawk 250 (older model). The "medium" size cover is perfect (no windshield). There's fitted places for the mirrors, hidden side vents for moisture relief, and stretch edges to reach both wheels. There's even a hook system on the bottom to latch it all in place for when I leave it more than a day or two. I was hesitant to order because of the size question, but couldn't be happier with the product. Great Service from the Superstore!

Melted a couple of holes from the muffler in a week’s time. It is being replaced by the manufacturer. Just wait half an hour before putting it on and it works and looks great.

Cover fits an SV650S like a glove. It's used as a dust cover in the garage so I can't comment on weather protection. Good product for the price.

Deluxe All Season Covers
We bought three covers and sent two back for size reasons. I would recommend that anyone with any bike bigger than a street sport bike get the largest size available. The XXL goes over everything very easily and the others were too tight and troublesome to get on. (Both the XL and L) We can’t say too much about the durability yet but the value is definitely good. So far they have done well in the rain and are very easy to transport as well.

Nelson-Rigg - Deluxe All Season Cover
I have nothing negative to say about this cover. It is light, it fits the bike well (Suzuki SV1000s), and has a handy storage bag included. I was initially concerned about installing the cover over a hot engine and exhausts, but even after a hard ride on a hot day, installating the cover showed no signs of discoloration or heat damage.
Nelson Rigg got it right!
