I have both the open-face and full-face headset
I started with the open-face, even though I wear a full helmet. I had heard that the extra foam on that one does better at cutting down wind noise. It worked great, but did the microphone did get in the way sometimes. The people I talk to say that there is more wind noise now with this full-face set, but not enough to cause a problem. It fits nicely and I will keep using it. The clips that come with it (for securing the cords on your helmet) are somewhat flimsy and I've broken a few.

Works great!
This is my second one, to hook my daughter’s helmet up to my GMRS1. I like them. Sound quality is good; install is easy on most helmets.

Chatterbox head set
Not sure if it is a VOX issue with the Mic or the Chatterbox unit but VOX is almost worthless even in a full face helmet at any speed above 25

Good communicator
This is my first communicator so I really don't have anything to compare this to. That being said, everything has been pretty good so far. I've only used it rider-to-rider and it has been great (good range, clear sound). I purchased it for the intercom functionality but haven't had a chance to try it yet. As many others have indicated, the mounting to the helmet seems cheap and the VOX takes some getting used to. Also, the installation instructions suck. I wish it mounted closer to the helmet so the helmet could still fit in the saddle bags. There is an option of playing music through the chatterbox. Just don't expect good sound. The ear pieces are not made for music.
