Chatterbox XBi2 with Bluetooth Wireless Intercom

All the same features ad the XBi, but with additional power that will allow simultaneous communications between 3 riders with up to 500 meters (1,640ft.) range in optimum conditions

The XBi2 will allow you to stream audio signal from any source that already comes equipped with Bluetooth, such as mobile phones, Mp3, GPS, and even iPod/iPhone when hooked up to a blue tooth adaptor such as Chatterbox AP21 and AP12.

The XBi2 will allow for up to 6-8 hours of true talk time and 48 hours of standby time on one charge

**Note: Two Kits are required for Rider to Passenger setup.

Gina Nixon Sierra Vista,  AZ Luv the XBi2 Bluetooth -- So easy even a "Lady Rider" can do it! Used in a bike-to-bike configuration for our recent Pacific Coast Highway ride! Worked well even through the first day and a half of rain! Chatterbox USA staff were extremely helpful by providing options (i.e., we do NOT use the standard speakers -- have expensive, custom headphones instead). The XBi2 for the "hers" bike is paired with the Garmin/IPhone and the "his" bike XBi2 is paired with his Iphone & Garmin Zumo Nav/XM radio/MP3 (i.e., adaptor required to stream the Zumo). Set up is extemely easy but the Chatterbox Staff will talk you through any sticking point. We used flip-up modular helmets for the trip (i.e., purchased both open & full face headsets). Sound quality was excellent with our custom earphones (i.e., ask Ryan at Chatterbox about their line of adaptors!!!). Used for the duration of this 7-day excursion; averaged 6-9 hrs daily on the bikes (i.e, normally recharged our batteries when we stopped for meals). Reception during separation is terrain dependent but we often were as far as half mile apart with no major issues. Highly recommended!!!!

I'm a physician and the XBi works very well in enabling me to maintain phone contact with the answering service when I'm on call and riding my Harley.

Greg Terrell Suffolk,  VA XBi2 I've had this installed for about 2 weeks now and it's been the best product for riding I've purchased! It was simple to install especially after watching the videos on Chatterbox website, it connected easily with my iPhone 3GS, I can listen to my music, answer calls and hear when I receive texts or emails that I can check when I get off the bike! My friends now have the same device and we will be linking our 3 units up for intercom communication!

L. K Alpharetta,  GA ChatterBox XBi2 Great product. Use with iPhone and another rider for comms. Great battery life, clear, good range with no problems so far. Small issue is that you need to end an intercom session before making a cell call or you get both. One quick button press so no big deal. Fits perfectly into my RF1100 helmet.

Retriever Evans,  GA ChatterBox Blues I purchased two units with the open face microphone system. All I really wanted was to communicate with my passengers as we toured the local countryside. Both units worked well at speeds of 0-35 MPH. At higher speeds, the signal came in broken up; partly due to the noise of wind and partly due to the unit's sensitivity to my motorcycle's electrical system. In brief, I could not communicate with my passenger at speeds exceeding 35 MPH.

Tim Hoekstra Dana Point,  CA Great new Chatterbox! I've owned an older Chatterbox for several years and always bemoaned the fact that it wasn't Bluetooth capable. No longer! The new and improved Chatterbox XBi2 is AWESOME! Easy pairing to my A2DP stereo Bluetooth iphone and blackberry. Great music quality and plenty of volume for my slightly windy full helmet. Phone functions are easy and work well and the battery life is really good at 6-8 hours. I'm very impressed and happy with my unit. I just wish it wasn't quite so expensive. Hopefully they'll come down in price so I can get my wife one as well.

Dean Flemington,  NJ Chatterbox XBi2 I bought 2 of these for my wife and I. We like being able to comunicate while we are riding. We are using them with iPhones which work really nice. The intercom also works very well between the bikes (separate). Chatterbox has been great with phone support and explaining how to get the most out of the units. I did have one of them die on me this morning? I'm sure Chatterbox will take care of this quickly based on my experience with them so far.

Andrew Leesburg,  VA Was skeptical but very pleased I have to say, this worked great. We synced up 3 riders with this device and it was pretty cool and the quality was good. The distance between riders worked great and seemed to be accurate in the description. The only thing I would have liked to see on this was an option to use your own ear buds and not use the speakers. The speakers worked very well but I like to use my custom Big Ear, ear buds but was unable to since there is no 3.5mm plug for this. I was still able to use my Big Ears to listen to music and cranked up the speakers as loud as they go and i could still hear the other riders and cell calls. Overall very pleased.
