does the job
BLUETOOTH function does not work with GARMIN NUVI series. ended up just hardwiring when in need of voice directions. but most of the time i just glance at the screen for the next turn.
FM RECEPTION poor. period. sometimes i get good reception in open areas but most of the time im left wishing for more.
other than that everything else works as described.

The headsets are very good when communicating with your rider or your motorcycle buddy. Have not listened to the radio while riding, so don't know how good it is while traveling. Recommend these headsets to other riders.

I like the thing with 2 units but when we tried to marry a third it was weird and not reliable to connect with either and they had a hard time trying to connect with me. May be it is over our heads. Next time we all get together we will try and clear all and start over.

Great system. A bit of a pain to install and set up the radio stations. Helps having another radio on so you can tell if you are on the right station. Once installed and set up it works great.

Couldn't be better for the price!
My only complaint about this is it doesn't have a2dp and saving presets into the unit takes a lot of patience and time, other than that everything is PERFECT. It easily attaches to your helmet securely. The battery lasts a really long time. Rider to rider and rider to phone works extremely clear. Sound is definitely loud enough to hear on the highway. Once you get your presets put in the radio is very clear and easy to use. The audio input is very nice. I split the cost of a multi-set with my buddy and it was worth every penny, very satisfied with this product!

the Q2 is a great product,,, i really enjoy riding my bike sometimes with the Q2 off so I can just get the total freedom thing going, but when riding with others... it’s a ball to be able to communicate without using hand signals lol, thanks you guys making ordering online a breeze,,,

cardio Q2
It works as it says the radio tuning and station setting could be easier. The phone connection and clairity of the radio I think is perfect. My only complaint is that I can’t find a product to transmit my non Bluetooth GPS to this other than a FM transmitter which eliminates listening to the radio. I even e-mailed cardio and asked them if there was a product available to do this they said no.

Loving this!!!
My husband and I are new riders with Burgman Scooters. We tried another system and were so disappointed, we almost gave up trying to communicate. My husband was browsing the internet and found this system. Because Of the reviews we took a chance. You get what you pay for. Although the system was more expensive than the first the quality and dependability cannot be compared. It has increased our "scooting" pleasure immensely and has given us a sense of security since we are both in our 60's. We go everywhere. It is so easy to use and small enough to be comfortable.
No adjusting once on the road unless get out of range and then simply push to buttons and you are good to go. Love it and love the Motorcycle Superstore. They are great.

Great Communication Device
Unit is great. The Q2's greatest strength is bike to bike communication. Noise cancelling is very effective; speakers provide adequate sound quality for voice communication. Unit performs just as well when using with Palm Centro cell phone. Only complaint is FM receiver performance...... reception is stunningly poor. Overall a great device, but do not buy if FM radio is most important to you.

CELL PHONE SOUND QUALITY IS GREAT
I bought this unit to use with my Garmin "zumo" GPS system. It connects well and the sound quality is great. No road noise is heard by the caller.
My friends are purchasing these units and I will know more about the set to set connectivity then.

Wonderful
Really works great. I was skeptical about bluetooth working for long distances but this works perfectly - crystal clear communications. Battery life seems to be great, although I only have the unit for a month now.
Highly reccomend

I'M SOLD!
I just got this product today and it's worth EVERY DOLLAR! I love it. It was EASY to install and EASY to use. The product works EXACTLY as billed. My first call was to my riding buddy (sitting at the park). He heard zero distortion. He was at a noisy bowling alley and I heard him clearly. Later I called him from my bike at about 65 mph and he heard ZERO wind noise and said that I was crystal CLEAR. Next I called my mom in Florida. I spoke to her while riding and while putting my bike up. She never knew I was using a blue tooth. I used the voice prompt to place the calls. I listened to the radio (mono) between calls. I told my buddy about it and he's ordering one from Motorcycle-superstore.com.

Great!!
This is just what I was looking for. I shopped for a long time for some kind of bike to bike communication. All others were either to large or cost too much. My wife and I have used these for many hours. The VOX is a little slow so we just leave the mic's on the whole time we are riding. The radio works good too, as long as you don't try to sing along with the radio…. It activates the VOX :)

Great Product
My husband and I bought this product so we could communicate when we ride our bikes. We really like this system and we would highly recommend it to others. Only drawbacks we find are that we live in a mountainous area and the system sometimes goes in and out same with the radio. Works best in flat areas. Still we would never trade it.

Overall a good headset.
I bought this primarily to use in conjunction with my Garmin Zumo 550 GPS. For this it works very well. The GPS sends voice to the Q2 and I get directions without having to look down at the GPS. The unit paired easily with the GPS and I use the GPS to control calls on my IPhone. This also works well though occasionally the whole thing crashes and I need to reset the IPhone and GPS. It’s hard to say which unit causes this. Microphone is too thick and touches the corner of my mouth inside my helmet, this is mildly annoying. Unit resets to the VOX default which causes it to make an annoying beep while having a cell phone conversation This feature can be turned off but once the unit is turned off and then on again it goes back to the default Radio reception is poor on most stations and sound quality is poor even on the good reception stations.

This is the best purchase we have made since my wife and I each bought our bikes. Being able to communicate with each has made riding even more enjoyable. The Bluetooth works well with our phones. We are able to answer and make calls with ease. I would highly recommend this product.

This product is awesome. Ride is more enjoyable with communication with passenger. Sat radio comes in perfect with extra transmitter. Little hard to set up at first but worth the frustration.

Q-2 Issues
Had a difficult time getting unit to pair with another Q-2. After sending first one back and receiving a replacement, worked as advertised. Mine paired easily with my Motorola RAZR, but did not pair well with my friends Verizon phone. Works great on the open road at Interstate speeds and I believe it makes for a safer ride. FM radio is not for me, I don't want to be entertained while riding, that is why I ride.

Scala Rider Q2
The Q2 is a substantial improvement over the original. The two head phones creates a sterio effect in that the sound received seems to be centered and is very effective. The clarity both ways is excellent. My phone picked up the voice commands without any additional training. One negative: The instructions regarding set up are confusing. A riding friend and I (close to being geeks) could not get the two Q2's to shake hands. He could hear me but I could not hear him "buddy to buddy"(Cardo's term). But I could hear him on the blue tooth phone. We had to call help. Engineers should not write instructions!

I can hear you!
I just got back from my first trip with the Scala Rider Q2. My husband and I each have bikes and this communication device is awesome. Before we used to wave or yell at lights, or race ahead and put on the hazards so the other person would know you needed to stop or tell them something. The Q2 is really clear (in a full face helmet) even at high speeds. The power lasted for 8 hours. I've heard that it is voice activated, but for some reason (the wind?), the connection stayed on the whole time (didn't go on standby). We were never that far apart, so I don't know if the range is beyond the 500ft advertised. In the city it cut out a bit if we got too far apart. Worth every penny. Makes the rides so much more fun!

Great product
I am new at riding a bike and with this I can talk to my husband to get instructions. It works great. I only had a problem with it going on my full face helmet. I feel so at ease being able to talk to someone while I'm riding. I love this and it works great with my cell phone too.
