Got two chatterboxes, one for me and one for the son. After wiring into our helmets and trying them out, everything was as advertized. Hope the weather warms up soon to get them on the road and rock on.

I bought 2 of these and they work really well. Just need a little tweak of the sensitivity and it works just fine. Light and easy to install, and worth the money.

I have not had a chance to check them out on the road yet. Weather has been bad. Motorcycle Superstore did not back the product when I had a problem with a headset, referred me to ChatterBox instead. They did take care of the problem. Had to wait an extra 2 weeks to get it resolved. Motorcycle Superstore does have an excellent price on these communicators.

I am pleased with the performance of the 2 Chatterbox units I recently purchased. We had a slight problem with wind noise, but I think that will be taken care of the more familiar we become with the VOX feature. For our road trip to Sturgis we used the push-to-talk switch. Even in areas of heavy traffic we could still communicate easily. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to ride with more than one bike. I haven't had a passenger connect yet, but I am confident it will work fine. My only issue was the installation-it was somewhat misleading on the diagrams, but finally got the pads positioned properly so the unit would stay on.

Overall, this is a terrific product. I, however, have found the sound to be a little "tinny" in tone. I also found it difficult to find a location in my motocross-type helmet where the microphone would pick up my voice without being constantly keyed by environmental sounds. Lastly, it would be nice if there was an accessory to attach the unit to my belt or to hang it somewhere inside my shirt or jacket. Still, the benefits of the product outweigh the inconvenience of not being able to communicate with my partner on another bike.

My wife and I bought the ChatterBox system so that we can converse while we ride our street bikes together. The communicators work very well and require only a small amount of training time to master the sensitivity setting on the voice activated mics. Installation was simple also. It sure beats the age-old motorcycle sign language!

I already have problème with one of the connectors , one speaker doesn’t work already and the microphone works only if I touch the cable near the connector. Second thing is that it cuts when the other person talks from the other bike, but may be its relate with my connection problem, for the installation its fine and the voice detection is working well. On my open face helmet, its a little heavy on left side where the communicator is.

It's not a bad unit for a starter but has major problems with the ptt switches not always working or staying on, also noise interference, the vox even on the lowest setting is almost always on. I’d recommend getting the next 1 up as I’ve talked to others with both units and heard the same thing. Spend the extra 50 bucks to get the better unit, you'll be thankful on the longer trips that you did.

I took the liner in the helmet apart to fit in the ear pads, I find the vox with my helmets keeps picking up the road noise so we use the ptt feature, I like the fact it goes to the handle bars too. This makes it easier for my wife who is still a newbie. Mounting to the helmet is ok but can look a little tacky with the curved helmet and straight bracket. Overall it's a good unit and if the wife is more comfortable then it's worth it.

The chatterbox system works fine. My wife and I like the passenger to driver feature. My brother and I also communicate with each other; he has the Chatterbox as well. My only issue, is the thin double back tape that hold the speakers in the helmet....they don't work that well unless you have ear pockets in the helmet liner built in. If you have an FRS radio you can also communicate with that if you travel with a chase vehicle, with the motorcycle.

I love it - easy to use once you get familiar with the VOX knob and how to set it. I can talk with my passenger and other bikes easily. I haven't tried the Press-to-Talk button yet, as the VOX works so well. Best value for communicators that I know of.
