Works great!
First, I have to agree with the other reviewer about the weak speaker volume for an mp3 input. Other than that, I've been pretty happy with it. Took it on a thousand mile bike trip centered around Portland, OR with my buddy who had a Chatterbox on his helmet. It took about 5 seconds to sync the channel to his and worked PERFECTLY. In fact, my mic sounded better to him than his more expensive radio did in my helmet. Might have been due to helmet design, though. Regardless, it performed nicely, the cords are plenty long enough, very simple to mount inside your helmet (velcro on the speaker pads stick to the helmet liner), and the inter bike comms were super. Liked it so much my brother bought one, also. Highly recommended inexpensive solution for bike comms.

MRC-11X not my choice
I did lots of research before I bought the Nady unit. I thought that the unit was stereo head phones, not so. The MP3/aux input is not amplified either. The sound of music that comes out is more like back ground music. Everything plugs into the radio unit. So if you want your passenger to be plugged in, you need to run the cord down your back, to your inside pocket where the unit is. I did think about mounting it under my seat but I thought that particular placement would reduce the already short range of the unit. I returned the unit hoping that the Motocomm unit would fit my needs better.
