I bought big because I was upsizing the rear sprocket from 39 to 48 teeth.
Good construction because it took quite a bit of grinding to remove the rivet "mushroom" and pop the side plate as I reduced the chain length. The surplus will become part of a "spare" constructed from the old chain and two D.I.D. clip-type master links.
