Great Little Charger - Saves Batteries
Battery Tender trickle chargers are a must to prevent deep discharge during winter months and I'm told they even prolong battery life. I lost a new $100 battery a couple years ago when it sat through the winter without a trickle charger and went into deep discharge - would not take a charge any longer. Now Battery Tenders are on all my dirt bikes, and even my lawnmower. Just wire the included quick-connect cord to the battery and tie-wrap it somewhere there is easy access to connect the charger.

Great product...
The BT Jr works great and appears to be a well made product. I attached the rings to my battery and now all I have to do is pop off the rear seat and plug it in. Only issue, if it could even be called that, is that the transformer portion is so large that it takes up a lot of space on the outlet/power strip.

The Battery Tender Jr. is a straight forward, easy to use battery charger that's perfect at keeping batteries fully charged. It is superior to trickle chargers and is more technologically advanced. Because of it's low power output, it's best used on motorcycle and other small batteries; use a unit with more capacity for car batteries and the like.
This is the best product for keeping your battery in great shape when you can't ride. Great for use in winter months when the snow and ice prevent regular outings on the bike.
There are cheaper units out there, but the Battery Tender Jr. is a proven winner.

I bought the battery tender because a couple of weeks sometimes go by between rides on my Vespa LX 150. The battery was running down, and the Tender helped keep it happily charged. It's only been a few weeks so I can't attest to its longevity, but so far so good.

I was debating on whether to get the junior or the plus. I bought the junior and glad I did. It’s nice and small and does a great job of maintaining my battery charge. I have an alarm on my R6 and it would drain my battery in 2 weeks, now the battery is charged every time I get on my bike.

I hooked up the tender to my super dead battery and it was able to give it a full charge overnight! The included battery cable lets me permanently hook up to the battery, letting me charge or jump in seconds! Lastly, I bridged the charger to all my batteries (12 amps) and it was strong enough to charge and tend all my vehicles! Sweeeet buy!

After a few seasons of charging on a standard charger, I purchased this small under the seat charger. It fit great, it is easy to hide the connecting cable, and works to both charge and maintain a charge on the battery. Extremely efficient for me, as I had to remove three bolts and remove both driver and passenger seat to get at the battery - NOT ANY LONGER!!!

I have a 2006 R6, and have been putting off getting a tender, but since I have been riding less often, this definitely helps. Battery Tender.... does what it says.
This thing tends to the battery just fine.
Good points:
Float charge won't overcharge/pop a battery if you walk off and forget about it for a few months.
Pigtail for permanent attachment to battery makes it less hassle for hard to access batteries.
Cover for pigtail keeps water out, won't short if it gets rained on.
Pigtail connector design means you can use one battery tender for multiple bikes, just by getting more pigtails, and rotating the charger every week or three.
Bad points;
Can't tell how much longer it will take to finish charging.
This is only a problem if you stumble across that rare nice day in the middle of winter, and haven't plugged the thing in for a while, or your battery is flat.
if you forget to put the cover on the pigtail (the part that stays on the battery) in the rain, it can short and kill your battery.

Exactly what I needed
My motorcycle battery has been having problems holding its change over the winter (here it rarely goes below freezing). With this little baby, I can recharge it and keep its charge over a long period of time so that when I need the bike to start, I'm not stuck with a battery with not enough juice to do the job. Small device, easy to connect to the battery (still have to be careful), fool proof, and cheap. Beats paying 10 $ at the motorcycle shop every time your battery voltage is too low.

I just opened it up and it looks great. The manufacturer claims that it can be short circuited indefinitely and the polarity reversed with no harm to either the tender or the battery. I'm sure that at some point I will put that to the test. For now, a great little charger at a fantastic price.

A must have for bikes with a battery
Most of the bikes with electric start have a battery. These are usually small, and do not hold a good charge for long periods without running(more than 3-4 weeks) The Battery tender Jr is just the thing for those situations. They come with alligator stule clamps, or permanent wiring so you just have to plug it in and forget it. I bought 2(on sale) one for my Yamaha TTR225 and one for my 20' Bayliner boat!

When we bought my girlfriends 97 CBR600F3 the P.O had it fitted for the battery tender & all we needed to make it work, was the charging unit. I found it on sale from mc-superstore for $20 & it instantly became a stocking stuffer this past x-mas. For the winter time this comes is really nice. In Kansas we have decent winters & can’t ride for sometimes a week or two at a time. This battery tender jr comes in really handy for these times & could possibly save the purchase of a whole new battery if you were to let it drain too low too many times.. Well it finally happened!! Living in North Carolina I ride basically year around so I have never had the need for a battery charger but after a recent cold weather mountain trip I found that I had left my GPS on overnight in a very COLD garage. Needless to say the next morning my battery was drained. Fortunately I had another bike up there and drove back to Raleigh on it. I immediately went to MC Superstore to check out chargers; to my surprise they had a great sale on the Battery Tender Jr. Charger so I ordered one.
I loved the simplicity of it and the fact that once your battery is loaded it does not continue to charge. Hooked it up came out the next morning.........Green light on and battery was charged. As usual great buy and great service from Motorcycle Superstore.
