John Klein Sierra Vista,  AZ Shifter Skins will preserver the skin of your boots A great accessory that really works. I used to get this black mark on all my boots, which is somewhat unsightly. That matters as I ride to work daily and wear business attire. The Shifter Skin virtually eliminates the scuffing and discoloring of my dress boots. The only issue is the construction of the end cap piece, which fastened with glue only while the rest of the skin is a combination of stitching and glue. The end cap falls off in about two weeks of daily riding, but the rest of the skin has lasted over six months. I only replace it because it was looking ratty, and a BMW K1200GT is not a ratty bike. The quality score should be 4.5, but only whole numbers are offered. Again, a great product that performs above expectation!

Ryan Woodbridge,  VA Shifter Skins Great idea and it works very well. However, the ends tend to tear up pretty quick but you can do with it. I guess the stitching in that area needs to be reinforced. It will stop you from getting that ugly dark shifter spot on light colored shoes.

Staff Sergeant Bell Fort Gordon,  GA PC Racing Shifting Skins I bought these skins for my 2009 Suzuki SV650 a few weeks ago and will never ever buy them again...EVER! They fit and installed perfectly, but the quality of material is extremely poor, as well as the craftsmanship! The shifting skins are actually a great concept, but if they begin to tear at almost every seam in less than three weeks, as they did with me, then there is something very, very, wrong with this picture. For the type of use, you need something durable and this item is MOST DEFINITELY NOT DURABLE at all! I would not recommend this item to anyone, unless you plan to purchase about 100 of them, because you are going to need that many at the rate that they tear!

JONES FORT MYERS,  FL PC RACING SHIFTER SKIN Installation was easy, product could fit a little tighter on shifter, not as durable as I thought it would be. Stitching already coming apart, if you’re going to buy one get a few for back up otherwise it works as described, shoes still clean.
