michael newport News,  VA great tires I searched for a while for a good all around sport touring tire. I ride all year round and also do a lot of aggressive riding whenever weather permits. Great tire never slipped away from me in a turn and very controllable while hydroplaning. My feet wanna be tossed off the pegs from the water forcing them off before the tires gives up.

This tire is said to grip well in the wet, though I have not tested that as yet. About 1000 miles behind me, and I am loving this tire!

Dave G Glendale,  CA Avon - AV55 Storm Front Tire I love this tire! I purchased this 2 months ago for my Honda ST1100, switching off a Metzler Z6 (which I had been running for the past 60K+ miles). I've already put just over 8K miles on this tire, in both twisty mountain roads in SoCal and also some long-distance rides including one 800-mile-plus day through heavy rains in Utah. This tire is much more responsive than the Metzler ever was. First time on it in the twisties I was able to ramp up everything--from speed to confidence. The tire is not showing signs of significant cupping (as the Metzler had), and it appears that it will provide me with about the same total miles as I was getting from the Metzler (i.e., around 9 - 9.5 K miles down to the wear bars).

jbiker Wynnewood,  PA Like this tire a lot Had this tire installed on a used bike that I just bought, to match Avon brand new rear tire. In a month I have put over 1,500 miles, including highway, city streets, and weekend winding roads in hot weather as well as rain. Great grip, great feel. Stable at very high speed, or leaned way over. I had to do one major, hard stop, with no problem. My first time trying Avon, but if they last a decent amount of miles, I will buy again. Great price and fast delivery.

james nyc,  NY avon tires AV55 and AV56 They are great! Broke those in after a week with a 500 mile run on the busa and they felt great. In the rain they have performed well maintaining constant traction.

Steve Ison dayton,  OH AV55 Storm on a FJR 1300 I spent a long time looking before ordering this tire. I've put a few miles on it and I feel like it is a good match for the bike. The steering is light and neutral. No annoying "turn in" that comes with a heavy bike. It seems to be smooth and quiet so far. I do a lot of 2 up riding and the metzler that was on it before would turn in hard when cornering. I got the avon per others reviews for this bike. I am going to put a 56 on the back soon.
