Dragon Tail wet or dry
I put both tires on at the same time and am will be buying a second set when these wear out. I got sold on these when me and two of my buddies rode Deal's Gap on wet pavement. I was on a GL1500 and never slipped. I wish I could put a pic on here of just how far I pushed these tires. As far as tread life..........just can't get enough miles out of a tire.

Michelin-Pilot GT Rear Tire
This is my third set of the Michelin Pilot GT tires and I won't run anything else. I average about 15,000 miles a year on my 1988 GL1500 and the last set of tires lasted almost 19,000 miles. They handle so well on dry roads it is like riding a sport bike, and in the rain there seems to be no traction loss and no hydro-planing. Great tires at a very affordable price.

Only had it one month with a few hundred miles but so far I am very happy with how the bike handles, corners and rides.

Michelin - Pilot GT Rear Tire
Having only put 500 miles on the tire, it is hard to rate Tread Life. However, so far I am very pleased with this tire. I installed it on a 2006 Kawasaki Concours and it is more stable on the highway than the original OEM tire.

Don't Leave Home Without Them
AWESOME tires. Had Avons on my 03 Concours when I bought it in 05. According to the previous owner the Avons only had 7K miles and were getting close to replacement. I am a frugal SOB and didn't want to spend $500 a year replacing my rear tire. I ride about 12-15K a year. Read reviews on the Pilot GT mounted on the Connie and thought I would give them a try. I can't be happier. I ride the Connie like she is a Ninja, GSXR, CBRR....my riding buddies may pull away in the straights but I always catch them in the turns. I rated the tires a 3 for wet traction because living in So. Cal you don't get to ride in the rain that often. I can say that they do well in the snow!!! Discovered that on a late Spring road trip to Utah. Anyway, great tire, good customer service, will always put Pilot GTs on my Connie.

Michelin Pilot GT Rear Tire
I've only put around 1500 miles on the tire so far in 4 rides, but it handles awesome on my Concours. I can carve through the twisties with ease, and I get great traction on dry or wet highways.

This tire has pretty good traction, have been on several road conditions and felt stable on gravel, dirt and pavement while 2 up. Great tire and the service was excellent.

Worth the wait
I love these tires. They have completely changed the character of my Goldwing. The feel is amazing compared to the E-3's. Did I mention I love these tires?.

Best Yet
Gives the best feel yet on my 1500 GW, am going to get the front one now. Previously I have had the Dunlop & Avon on this ride, this Michelin has a better feel under all conditions, especially cornering (nice roll feel, no suprises). So far I only have 3,000 miles on this tire, however it appears to be going to last longer than either of the other brands I have tried - even if the life is only equal to the others the ride & price make it worthy of using.

michelin-pilot GT rear tire
Replaced the front tire first with a Michelin pilot, on my Goldwing 1500 its great tire. Two months later had the rear tire put on in September 2008. It took me a couple days to get use to it, we went for a weekend ride across Missouri 800 miles .We road on all kinds of roads no rain, great for cornering and high speed! I wish had put the rear tire on sooner, great pair of tires to ride on!

Michelin Pilot GT for 1500 Goldwing
Only had the tire on a few weeks, however, it is the very best handling tire I have ever had on my Goldwing. I will never go back to the Dunlop’s after experiencing this tire. Wish I had known about it years ago!~

Michlien Piolot GT Tires for GL 1500
I am currently on my second set of these tires on my 1999 GL1500 Goldwing. Bike has 94,00 miles on odometer. These tires are great. traction is excellent, wet or dry. Tires do not cup nearly as soon as other brands used. Practically noise free until worn out.Certainy hope Michlein does not decide to discontinue this tire as they did with the radial for the 1500.

Pilot GT Tires
I have a 97 Aspencade with 84500 on it and the last 10000 miles have been with the Pilot GT. This is an awesome tire, it is a very smooth and stable ride. Great traction in the turns and on wet roads. I will not put another tire on my 1500. No cupping and will most likely get another 5 to 8 thousand miles out of this tire. Well worth the price.

Michelin tires for GL1500 Goldwings
I bought my 1988 GL1500 new; it has been my main transportation ever since. Because it came with Dunlops, I stayed with that brand, and have worn out too many of them. Last spring, when I heard about the new Pilot GT designed for GL1500s, I wanted to try them. What a thrill! They give me such confidence in turns that I am enjoying riding more than ever at age 70. I am rediscovering the joys of leaning during my turns because of the increased sense of security. I would never buy another Elite II.

Michelin Pilot Gt tires
I have about 8100 miles on these tires on my Goldwing GL1500. Tires run smooth, quiet & grip well on wet roads. No sign of cupping on either tire. I'm satisfied with them up to this point, looks like they will get excellent mileage as they don't look that worn.
