Gary T Monroe,  NC Macadam on ST1100 Note that this is a non-radial tire, so the cornering is no comparison to a radial. When I first put them on after running radials, it felt like the bike wanted to go straight rather than turn. I've gotten more used to them since but I'll go back to radials after this set. I got less than 7k miles on the back and will get about double that on the front. So, not the greatest mileage on the back. However, this is a quality tire as you would expect from Michelin. Very stable and great traction.

Jay S Boca Raton,  FL Good Tire I ordered the Michelin Macadams for my 90s Honda Nighthawk 750 because they offered the best quality and longevity for the price. My decision was based on having these tires before and getting some 13K miles out of them, nearly twice what I got from other brands I had on the bike. Motorcycle Superstore had the best price once you figured in free shipping. The tires were delivered promptly and I've been happy with them so far.

Bruce Huff Sparks,  NV Michelin Macadam M50 Sport touring rear tire Put on a '79 BMW R100RS. An excellent tire for riding corners (old bike, sport touring-not a crotch rocket). Handles well. Predictable traction. A little wobble in rain grooves. Second or third one on the bike. Relatively good mileage.(5-8k). Tough to find bias ply tires let alone 100% aspect ratio (Softer ride, more ground clearance). Good enough traction to allow me to drag pegs. Great service from Motorcycle Superstore. Arrived within a week. Best price I saw. Will Buy Again.

This tire was delivered promptly to my doorstep at a price that even after paying $25 to have it mounted and balanced was still less than I could buy the tire for locally. Also important to me was the tire was fresh, I believe less than 6 months from manufacture. Since I've only had these tires a few hundred miles, I base my rating on the Mac 50s I just took off.

Fred Tonasket,  WA Michelin Macadam M50E Rear Excellent in all but racing applications and may do well there, depending on criteria...For sport Touring applications they surpass claim made by other more expensive tires and deliver better longevity than all.... while still delivering safe stable and consistent handling in wet or dry applications......expect mileage of 10,000 miles or better with excellent casing life.....
