Macadam 50E Sport Touring Front Tire
This is the third set of M50 tires I have had. Tread life is very good at about 14,000 miles per pair. Handling is good until you get near the wear limit bars at about 12,000 mile then the tires follow road joints / cracks and need replacement. Traction in wet weather and cornering in dry is excellent. I have had several other tire brands on my R100RT and have found the Michelin M50s to be the best all around sport touring tire.

It is too soon to tell. So far it is an OK tire. I haven't used Michelins on my bike in a very long time. I liked them in the past and love them for cars. The Bridgestone BT 020 and BT 021 front tires were both crap! I'm sure I'll be more satisfied with the Michelins.

Good Tire
I ordered the Michelin Macadams for my 90s Honda Nighthawk 750 because they offered the best quality and longevity for the price. My decision was based on having these tires before and getting some 13K miles out of them, nearly twice what I got from other brands I had on the bike. Motorcycle Superstore had the best price once you figured in free shipping. The tires were delivered promptly and I've been happy with them so far.

I was a little reluctant to buy this tire at first because I couldn’t find any reviews about it on line but I am happy to say I am very pleased with this tires performance and handling characteristics.

WOW!!!
I am running a 1982 R100RT with 3.25X19. The tire I am running has about 15,000 km. on it and has close to 1/4 left to the wear bars. The last set I had were of another very popular brand for BMW's and I barely got 8,000 km before replacement. I have ridden in hot and wet and cool and wet with no problems. I have been up to about 170 km/hr with no effects in handling and response. I recently took an advanced riders course and was greatly impressed with the handling at all the braking problems that were practiced. I would not hesitate to recommend this tire to anyone.

Mac -A- Dam!
I have driven motorcycles for 36 years plus and have never worn out a front tire on my TR6R Triumph. I replaced them when they were sun baked. This is my second Macadam front tire for my K100 BMW. My bike is pretty heavy but this tire corners like a dream. The tread pattern is great. I have driven it in the wet once and there too I was pleased with the grip. The tire does well on the hot tarmac here in San Antonio and long trips to the coast and around the State have been without worry. A good buy for the price and long life for the weight of my bike have had me stick to this brand.

First time tire for me
This is the first time I have tried this tire set on my ST1100. I am still getting used to it as I have always used the Metzler Z6 (and Z4 previously). I wanted to try something that would offer more mileage so I tried the Michelin. The first thing I noticed on my first ride was turning at slow speeds felt like the bike was going to fall over. At higher speeds it feels like the front end wants to keep going straight so it requires more steering through the turns. Straight driving feels fine at low and higher speeds. Traction feels good. I'm hoping tread life will be around 10k miles. I haven't driven in wet weather yet. Maybe I was spoiled by the Metzlers or maybe I still need to get used to these tires, but I feel like the Metzlers will be my next tire again.

Michelin - Macadam 50 Sport Touring Tires
What a great tire. I have had a matched set front and rear on my 2007 Harley-Davidson for a little over a month. Wet (really wet!) or dry these tires definately offer an improvement in handling over the Dunlop 591s. Overall ride quality is better too-more compliant, less hard. But, they do wander a little on certain parts of the freeway where the road surface has been grooved. I've only had them for a couple thousand miles so we'll have wait to see how they wear. I really like these tires for fit, function and price!
