Great tires so far
Though I haven't had them very long they have been great, way better then O.E. Great handling with 2up also. I would recommend these tires to any ST rider any day.

Even I noticed a difference ...
I have several thousand miles on this tire and its holding up very well. I noticed a fantastic ride smoothness increase over the OEM rear on my 599. I'm still a beginner rider, have only 21k miles under my belt and don't have a terrible amount of wet riding time but even I noticed a difference! I have about ½ inch chicken strip either side and the rear has always been rock solid. I just ordered a new Roadtec Z6 for the front and have high expectations.

Metzeler tires for the Rune motorcycle
The Metzeler tires provide greater tread life than the OEM Dunlop tires for the Honda Rune, a big plus. I haven't ridden in the rain, so no experience in that environment. I do feel some slide on the rear tire in the twisties. I would like to see the Motorcycle Superstore carry more selection in the Continental tire brand, in particular, the Road Attack model.

Metzeler - Roadtec Z6 Sport Touring Rear Tire
With 10 of running the Z4's, I've found the Z6's to be a great improvement. It's been a long time sense I've enjoyed handling and performance this much. The bike feels almost like new again.

Great Tire
I am happy with the tire so far. I went on a 600 mile trek with a friend to break in the tire. Cornered well and I was able to stop quickly (crazy drivers) I have not had a chance to see what it does in the rain. The wear so far is good. It doesn’t look like I drove much on it after the 600 miles (compared to my friends tire).

Tested on the Dragon
I got this tire on my Concours 14 and the next week headed out on a 4 day trip to Deals Gap. It rained on us the first two days and the tire handled great. Never noticed any problems. The third day we went to Deals Gap. Rode the Gap 4-5 times all out. I pushed my bike as hard as I could and the tire never waivered. From hard braking entries to heavy throttle exits the tire held perfectly. Never even showed any signs of stress on the tread. I'VE ONLY PUT ABOUT 1000 MILES ON THEM SO FAR SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT TOTAL TREADWEAR WILL BE SO I POSTED A 3 FOR TRAEADLIFE.I will be changing my front tire to a Z6 as well. The Battlax's just wear out too fast. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Metzler RoadTec Z6
This was the original tire on my 2006 Yamaha SJR 1300. I got nearly 10000 miles on the front and rear, more than most people are on some of the other tires for this bike. The handling is excellent, feels very stable and predictable in both wet and dry conditions.

Metzeler Z6
I replaced the original tires on my '99 VFR with these and what a difference. I don't know if it's because the original tires were shot or if these tires are that good. The ride is ultra smooth, cornering and traction are great, and the bike rolls from side to side so easily. I've only put a few miles on them so I can't report on tread life. If the tread holds up, I'll definitely but them again.

15,000 life span
Great tire for Sport touring. 15,000 is max mileage with reasonable riding habits. 16,000 show steels cords, not good. Great tires for a beemer and great price at MSS.

A must for high mileage sport touring
I bought a set of these last summer for a trip from Indiana to Maine. My Buell Cyclone has so much torque it eats most sport touring tires in about 2500 miles (sport bike tires get little more than half that). My Z-6 rear is still usable after about 6000 miles and is just starting to show its wear. The down side of all this durability is weight. If you are replacing sport tires with these you will feel the difference. If all you do is weekend day trips to Deal's Gap you may not like these tires, but if you think a 2700 mile road-trip is a great way to spend a week off, I think you will be satisfied.

Roadtec Z6...Outstanding (Rear)
Tire wear seems to be real good at this point but it's still early to tell. I only have a little over 1000 mile on them and my riding style is not real aggressive. Fact is there are no signs of tire wear at all yet.

Nice tire, but they don't last long. Guess that's the name of the game.

MeZ6 Tires
These are the only tires I've run on my BMW R1150RT and I've been pretty happy with them. I've gotten between 8,000 and 12,000 miles on them, but of course, I wish I could get more. I put a lot of miles on my bike and I don't foresee me getting a different tire in the future.

Still new
I only have 30 miles so far but notice much better handling and stability with the new tires. The cornering ability is greatly improved over the original Dunlop 404. Not sure of tread life or wet handling since I haven't run up against that yet.

Metzeler Roadtec Z6-rear
Great tire. This is the second set I will install on my '97 BMW R850R. Ran Z4s before they quit making them. Z4s were good these tires are better. Grippy in the dry and wet. Don't know about the snow, as I live in SC. Who knows? I will have close to 12,000 miles on the Z6s I'm replacing. Like the idea that they are balanced from the factory because I mount them myself. Never had balancing problems on any Metzeler tire I've used. As long as I ride the R850R, I'll use Metzeler.

Metzler tires
I've used Metzlers for years on bikes ranging from Sportster, Big Dog Pro Sport, V Rod and now BMW R1200 RT. Great in the rain, curves, and highway. Lifespan: I got 15000 on each set on the Big Dog w/ 107 S&S and the bike was ridden a lot. V Rod got over 13000 on both sets I've put on. BMW only has 6000 mi on it and the tires are not at half life yet. No, I'm not gentle w/ the tires. I usually ride 12-18000 mi. per year on all sorts of roads. These things give me good life, great traction in all sorts of weather. I don't even look at other brands any more.

Good tire, bad lifespan
This is a good tire that only lasted 7500 miles on my R1200RT. Excellent handling and road feel. Funny thing is that the same tire in a slightly smaller size lasted near 10,000 miles on my ST1300, a much heavier bike. Go figure. I may be trying a Bridgestone 021 next time for comparison, costs less and as I recall from the ST performed just as well.

Z6 Review
Overall the Z6 is a good tire. I switch from a Metzeler M1, which I loved, to the Metzeler Z6 for extra mileage. I commute to work daily in this great year round riding weather in Texas. I got close to 7,000 miles on the Z6. I canyon ride on the weekends and this is where the Z6 is a little weak. Tip the bike in the corners and you'll notice a little slide. So I'll probably go with the M3's next. But if touring/commuting is your thing, the Z6 is a great tire.
