Bob Escondido,  CA Outstanding Tire This is my 2nd for my 2006 Concours and obviously I can't say enough good stuff for this particular tire. I can't say that you will get the same life as I did, (18,000 miles) but then again most of my miles are on the freeway. I have its big brother on the back and it too is having a long life,(16,000 and still going) although it is wearing a bit square due to the freeways. Mind you I do on occasion ride the twisties but don't try to scrape my pegs. These tires will continue to be on my bike for as long as they continue to produce them.

Steve Mayer Shawnee,  KS Metzler Roadtec Z6 Sport Touring Tires This is the second set of Z6 Roadtecs that I've owned. I have had outstanding success with this tire. The previous set was on the bike for over 9000 miles with tread still left and not into the wear indicators. They perform well on all road surfaces, wet or dry and have never let me down...Literally! I ride a lot in all kinds of weather and road conditions from local riding to long distance touring. These tires are the best value for the dollar spent. I ride a BMW R1100RT and have used other brands so I have a reference to compare to. You will not be disappointed with ANY Metzler tire. Simply the best. Why ride without them? Your life depends on it.

Brian San Diego,  CA Road huggers Bought a pair of these for my 93 Nighthawk 750. Warmed them up for about a hundred miles of easy riding then took them out on Hwy 94 in San Diego (a pretty fun ride for those who don't know) for some technical fun. Super stable in the twisties and good rolling action from side to side just by throwing my hips. Can't speak for the wet traction (Southern California and all) or the tread life (only have 500 miles on them) but so far I couldn't be happier. Way better than the Dunlop/Bridgestone combo that came on the bike. The back tire I got was a little wider than stock, but fits good and feels great.

Doc D Nashville,  TN Metzeler - Roadtec Z6 Sport Touring Front Great sport-touring tire. I have it on a Suzuki Bandit 1200S and it has been my favorite tire by far (I've tried Dunlop 205s and Michelin Pilot Sports). Handling is rock solid in all conditions (although I'm not too aggressive). I've been getting between 7,500–9,000 miles per tire.

serge s hampton,  VA Metzeler - Roadtec Z6 These tires are very quick and agile. They feel a little stiff on uneven roads, the little you give up is soft ride is compensated by the fact that you can hit a corner fast and hard and be confident that the tire will hold. My bike came with a pair of dunlops and often felt soft in the corners. Very satisfied with these tires, buy them you won't be sorry.

Phil Bolichowski Windsor,  ON Metzeler - Roadtec Z6 Sport Touring Front Tire I love the feeling of riding with new tires, it is so confidence building and stable. These tires also give super performance dry or wet. My experience with Motorcycle Superstore was first rate. Although tires are not shipped to Canada I have the luxury of living in a border town, which allows me to use the free Con US shipping and import them in person myself. It is the best cost value I found to date! Keep up the good work Superstore.

Robert Kopf Lewiston,  MI Metzler tire review I purchased both front and rear Metzeler Roadtec Z6 tires. I had them installed and rode about 20 miles to slightly scuff them up. I then went to the BMW International Rally in Tennessee and put about 450 miles on them over mountains and twisty road terrain, including the famous "Snake" route. Tire performance was excellent at all times. They provided a very smooth ride and never lost their grip, even on severe hairpin curves. Knowing these outstanding tires were beneath me gave me added confidence to aggressively tackle severe curves in this area of Tennesee and Virginia. Overall I am completely satisfied with their performance and, additionally, was very pleased with your service techs info and recommendation for this tire. Also, your immediate shipping took all the worry out of having time to get them installed before leaving for the BMW Rally. Please note: I rated wet traction and tread life a 4 because I did not encounter any wet roads since installing them and have no judgment as to their tread life at this point in time since I only have about 600 miles on the tires at this time. Charles Schmidt Laramiew,  WY Great so Far So I put these on my 2005 V-Strom DL 1000, and they have been great. I've taken them through the mountains, tearing through corners and they are great. They have been great through light water and on some gravel, but have not taken in any serious rain yet. Strongly suggest. Clay Thomas Decatur,  AL Great skins for an old Nighthawk I put these tires on my 91 Nighthawk 750, and the difference from the OEM Dunlops is amazing. The bike feels MUCH more planted in the turns, and has given me much more confidence on the road. Wet traction seems excellent. Andy Berke Pflugerville,  TX LIke a new bike with the Metzelers! Bought my '95 Triumph about 9 months ago. I have been enjoying the bike, but handling in corners had me thinking I was getting too old for this stuff. Matthew Jacksonville,  AL Metzeler Z6 I am a year round ride, and I ride in ALL weather conditions. Since I put 1500 miles/month on my 04' FJR, I have tried just about every tire on the market. Nothing even come close to the Z6! The tread life is twice that of any other tire, wet weather riding is awesome, and I can't tell ANY cornering difference from a sticky sport tire. The Z6 is the best tire I have ever used. I'm not sure what it would take, to get me to try a different tire.

Brian Santa Clarita,  CA Metzeler - Roadtec Z6 Sport Touring Tire This is by far my favorite front tire on my ST1300. While it was a good match with the Z6 rear on my previous ST1100, I find that the 880 is a better rear on the ST1300 (actually seems to stick better, despite the longer life). The Roadtec Z6 front wears very well, provides great feel and confidence in turns, and resists cupping (keep the tire pressure up) -- eliminating the dreaded decel head shake. All around thumbs up.

dave sametz bucksport,  ME z6 road tec tires Terrible traction in the still snow covered roads of Maine, rear also won’t stop spinning till about 110 mph, at that point I can’t tell if said tires are grabbing or not. Actually I’m just now mounting them up and will give you my honest opinion in 6 months. I will say this, your company has stellar service and the tire price was the lowest I could find. I used to own a 2002 interceptor and mounted Metzlers on that. I think they were me4s?? They were great. Once I buried the speedometer down a long [empty] hill. Indicated speed was 162. The bike felt rock stable as if I were riding @ 25 so I’m assuming these tires will perform even better.

Ron Grand Island,  NE Z6 This is the second set of Metzeler Z6 tires on my R1150RT. Great traction/stability in both wet & dry conditions. My average mileage has been 9,000/10,000 miles per set. If it wasn't for both edges of the front tire wearing out prior to the center I would be comfortable running them more miles. Just ordered another set of Z6's this week.

Kyle Los Angels,  CA Expensive, but Solid--Hoping they last the long haul I commute to school and work around LA almost daily on motorcycle. I had used Continental and was happy but MOTOUSA didn't sell them now. So rep recommended Metzeler’s for my Honda VFR 800 (2003). These were expensive but tread is supposed to last. They felt very different when I put them on. Like oversteer--or I just wasn't used to tires that WANT to corner. Either way, I've taken them to the mountains of Angeles Crest and to the freeways---80+ mph and no issues.

KF Taylor Lodi,  CA Metzeler Rodtec Z6 This is the best all around sport touring tire out there, and I've tried them all (underline). My '07 K1200S came with some fairly sticky tires, and then I tried the Michelin dual compound tires. Neither of these were confidence inspiring in terms of cornering, stability and handling. Then I put on the Metzelers, of which I have run more than a dozen pair over the last several years (and the Z-4's before them), and it was a whole different bike! I can't say enough good things about them.

Clarke Long Jr Port Saint Lucie,  FL Metzeler Roadtec Z6 Sport Touring Tire After installing this tire on my 07 Yamaha Warrior custom I notice a big difference from the original tire that comes with the bike, cornering is tighter, wet traction is more stable, and the cost made all the more worth it. Next time I purchase tires I will be getting matching front and rear. I would and have recommended this to my riding buddies. I scored tread life as a 3 only because the tire is still new and I’m waiting to see how many miles I can put on it.

Walter Moreno Valley,  CA Metzeler - Roadtec Z6 Sport Touring Front Tire I bought this tire as a replacement of the original. So far the tire is good. The handle stability is lovely either slow or high speed. Cornering is my biggest concern which is awesome. Since I bought the tire, now it still looks nice on the tread. The traction is better than what it was from the original. This tire is what I would buy for the next set and highly recommend for all bikers. Brian Parkton,  MD Metzeler Z6 I replaced the original tires on my '99 VFR with these and what a difference. I don't know if it's because the original tires were shot or if these tires are that good. Lance Orick,  CA MeZ6 Tires These are the only tires I've run on my BMW R1150RT and I've been pretty happy with them. I've gotten between 8,000 and 12,000 miles on them, but of course, I wish I could get more. I put a lot of miles on my bike and I don't foresee me getting a different tire in the future.

Jon Karmazyn Allentown ,  PA Great Value! I had some dry rot cracks in my stock tire so I decided to upgrade to this Metz. Did a 400 mile trip to the shore the week after it was installed and it handled great. Has good grip and feels solid. Can't beat the tire for the price. Only have about 900 miles on it so far but it looks like it will have a good lifespan to it.

John Beaverton,  OR Z6 & ST1100 I have only put a 1,000 miles on these Metzelers and they are superior to the Dunlops that came on the bike. I have not ridden in the rain and have no idea how long they will last.

Lorn VanSteenbergh Oklahoma City,  OK These tires ROCK! The tires make you feel like the bike is glued to the road. I only wish they would last longer I got around 8000 miles on the first pair but should have changed them out quicker. However, if the trade off is around 3000 extra miles on the harder compound Dunlop’s that came on my Honda ST1300 vs the softer more gripie compound of the Metzeler’s I will gladly trade those miles off for better control. Just my humble opinion though.

Paul Painchaud Marlborough,  NH Love the Metzeler Z6 I installed a pair of these tires and the difference in handling on my ST1300 was incredible. I have now ridden with them for a couple of months and have never had a lack of confidence in these tires. I’m now on a second rear Z6. That part brings me to the down side. 6,000 miles on the rear is about it for me. I’d like to get a few more miles but will continue to use the Metzeler Z6 tires because of the improved handling

Brian Bayliss Windham,  ME Mettzler Z6 Excellent front tire for the money. High mileage /great traction & good looking. Soon to purchase a rear, just wish the rear had a bit more tread in the center for braking. It's easy to lock up the rear end with this tire, especially in wet conditions. Front is much better.

Alan Courtney Lexington,  SC Metzeler Roadtec Z6-front This is the second set of Z6s that I will have used. The first (still on the bike) proved to be better than the Z4s they replaced in Metzler’s product line. The Z4s were good and the Z6s are better. I've heard that some people do not get much life out of them. But I've had this set for close to 12,000 miles. This tire is very stable in wet and dry conditions. I am riding a '97 BMW R850R. It's not as powerful as some other bikes which may explain the longer tire life.

Joel gray,  TN Best I found I've tried other tires trying to save a buck, and found that the Metzeler gave me the best mileage, feel, and confidence. I got about 1500 more miles over the Conti Road attack. To me it's worth spending about 40 more dollars.

Mark Johnson Austin,  TX Metzeler Z6 This is my second set. I ran Metzelers on my K75RT. This R1150RT came with Metzelers on it. The new ones handled well on a recent trip in the mountains in West Texas. Good value with M/C Superstore pricing.

Jerry Saint Croix Falls,  CA Metzler Z6 My '06 FJR came with the Metzler Z6 as standard equipment. Measuring the tread on the new tires at 3/32" front and 7/32", I thought these must be performance tires and they won't wear long touring and was considering replacing them with Pilot Roads when they wore out. At the end of the first season of sport touring to Maine, Montana and Nebraska I had accumulated 12,700 miles and the front tire was just approaching the wear bars and the rear still looked good. The tires had performed well in all

Darryl Santa Barbara,  IL Metzler Z-6's, front and rear I have a 2005 FJR1300, 35K on hard fast twisty & straight miles, two snow storms, rain, 120 degree heat. Ex road racer, now sport touring. To date, one set Z4, 2 sets Z6 (6k miles, cord showing), 1 set Michelin Pilot Road (5k miles), 1 set Michelin Pilot 2CT (4K miles). Z6's better than Z4's, inspire confidence @ max lean angles, high speed. Break loose at max. Lean angle if accelerate hard, more than 2CT's. Back wheel of Z6 slicker than either of the Michelins. For long trips, two up, loade

John Dean Maitland,  CA Metzler Z6 I put the Z6 front and back to replace my OEM Bridgestone BTO20's on my 2006 ST 1300. I got 12K out of them and had great reviews of the Metzlers - I looked, read a lot. Once I got them scuffed up. I put the tires to some of my local "curves" and am very impressed. Can't wait to take them to the "Dragon". The feel and control is amazing. Unless Metzler comes out with an even better Z rated tire the Z6 will be my next set as well.

andrew Washington,  NC Metzeler z6 Just replaced by z4s with z6s on my BMW R1100RS and after the 50+ mile break-in period I'm happy to say that I'm very happy with these tires. Grip seems good in wet and dry conditions, increasing confidence and rider enjoyment. Much quieter than z4s.

allen murray cherry hill,  NC Metzler Z6 tires I have them on a '04 FJR1300, and ride slab and twisties. I am favoarably impressed with wet & dry performance. They have 5k miles now. The front is at half life. The rear has maybe 3k max to go. Much better than the original Z4's in every way.
