Metzeler Lasertec Bias Sport
On the original Bridgestone tires my Kawa W650 rode well and was stable at speed. Or so I thought until I installed these Metzelers front and back. They have transformed my moto into a surefooted beast. The tar strips and long cracks of Vermont's twisties just roll under the bike instead of throwing it around. The price was right and delivery very fast. I'll be back!

BEST FRONT TIRE PERIOD! I have installed the Lasertec (formerly 'Laser' ) on many bikes for many years and have always found the tire works GREAT! It has a stabling effect as if a steering stabilizer were installed. Wet weather riding feels like you are on dry pavement. I absolutely recommend this tire! Signed, Happy and Upright

Best tire for old R100RS 1982 BMW cycle. My wife and I have used ME33 and 99 rear tires for a long time. Since 80s. Good tires!

Fantastic tire
I put the Lasertec on the front of my Ninja 250. What a great tire. It is so much better than the stock tires. I have put over a thousand miles on it now, and rain or dry it sticks to the road. Also, the stock tires use to have problems when it ran on heavy rain grooves or rough areas in construction areas. Not so the Lasertec. Too early to tell about the Tread life but, based on what others who have had the tire have told me, I should get about 10K or so out of it. I have bought several items from here and they have never let me down. Motorcycle Superstore was great and got the tire to me in just a few days.

Awesome tires
I have owned the same 1975 BMW r90/6 for over 25 years. When I bought the bike in 1984 it had Conti Twins installed. I used these tires for the next 5 years changing them every 5-6K. I then switched to Metzeler me88 in the rear and the Lazertec in front and haven't looked back. I have read the lower ratings others have given these tires for wear and it's true that if you install the V version they wear relatively fast but the H version lasts me up to 17K.

I had 3 older BMWs and they call for these tires I guess there is a reason , I've had no issues with the front tire and would recommend them highly, PS YOUR COMPANY WAS GREAT, NOT A BIG FAN OF UPS GROUND BUT I GET THEIR PURPOSE. Thanks

Great all around tire
I live in one of the best areas for some very nice hairpin after hairpin turn. So having good tires is a must. My front lasertec performances very well in the twisties and I really drop the K75 S down in the turns. My tread life is averaging 3,500-4000 miles but that is only because I ride aggressively. I understand you can make this tire last for awhile if you're not so aggressive of a rider. I don't know maybe I'll slow it down when both me and my K75 get a little older and write another review then.

I bought a 2008 Triumph Bonneville in August...these are the tires they put on the bike...after 3200 miles I noticed small cracks in the front tire sidewalls...dry rot...Triumph won't replace it at their cost so I have to pay for it...overall though the tire does handle well..Now I have to contact Metzler and see if they'll reimburse me

Nice tire, Holds road well when dry...leans way over without sliding. Good for at least 10k miles of aggressive road riding. Only bias tire I've used in combination with a rear radial and works well.

great in the rain for a classic BMW airhead
I wanted a tire that would stick to wet pavement--there's plenty of it in Seattle. I don't think I could have purchased a better tire. My only advice is that you put 100 miles on them on dry pavement before you ride in the rain, because when they're new, they have a coating that makes them slip--not sure why the tire manufacturing companies think its okay to sell them like this.

Metzeler Lasertec Bias Sport Touring
I ride a 1981 BMW R-100 RT. Metzler tires come stock on these machines. I've had good results from these tires, really good in the rain. The only complaint might be tread life. But then I guess that's an acceptable trade off for safety and good traction. While traveling on two wheels, one should not skimp on tires.

Another solid tire from Metzeler
I ride an 81 Suzuki GS850G, and for bikes like mine, with the shaft drive donut giving you millimeters of clearance to work with, this is the best possible 130/90-17 I could buy. I have more confidence through hard corners, and water doesn't phase the traction unless you're riding in a hard rain. Softer rubber means better traction, so I can't really comment on the life of the tire, only having owned it a month

I have run 6-7 of these tires and have no complaints. Their real advantage over other tires I have ran is wet traction. I use this tire on an old air head BMW and it works perfectly

Second tire
This is the second tire of this make that I have had on this bike and I like the qualities of this tire. I use it on my BMW Dakar which is 99.9% highway use and I put over 12,000 a year on this bike with great success on this tire. I have been caught in down pours with major puddling on the freeways and the tire holds extremely well, even on the lane dividing lines when splitting traffic. I will be in the market for a rear tire in the next 6 months and I will be ordering the same make only one made for the rear.

Great tire
I have a Honda cb1100f with these Lasertec tires. They run great. With a big bike that has a high center of gravity it’s nice to know your tires are not going to be the weakest link. They have predictable wear and grip all the way to the end of their life. The edges wear depending on your aggressiveness. I get 2 seasons out of one tire and 1 season out of the other. The profile is nice and predictable, it does not surprise you with quirky handling characteristics. They aren’t too pricy and come in unusual sizes too.

Lasertec Front Tire
This is the 3rd one I have had on my T100. They handle very well in water. Only shortcoming is mileage, I only get around 8.5k per tire. Oh well they work great and I can't see me having anything but Metzeler's on my Triumph.

So far so good
This tire is a bit heavier than the OEM tires for my bike so starting a turn requires a little more effort than I'm used to. However, I love how it effortlessly carves the turn once started. Makes cruising the twisties even more fun than it was before. The jury is still out on how long it lasts as far as tread wear but, so far, it's been a good tire.

Metzeler - Lasertec Front Tire for BMW K75
Tire is great on dry pavement, great in the rain, and doesn't track funny on grooved pavement. The downside is the mileage I'm getting: 8000 miles and I'm down to the wear bars on the left side and almost to the wear bars in the center. OK... so I go fast around one sweeper freeway offramp every day (when it's dry) on my commute home. Still, I expect 12K to 13K out of a front tire.

White letter side walls are not really there. The tread does not wrap around as much on the actual tire.
