dry rot
the last lasertec dry rotted to the point of failing ny safety insp in two years. in the first year started to show dry rot. I hope this one is better or it will be my last.

Took the Lasertecs for a tour to South Dakota. Tire was much harder/harsher than I am used to (having always run radials previously) and ended up with tingling in my hands that lasted for months. Bike immediately had headshake with this tire. Running tires at 42 PSI. However, had great grip in the corners--touching down pegs with no loss of grip. Not sure if I will use these tires again. Rear tire pretty much gone after 6000 miles of higher speed running.

I've always had Metzeler's on my '74 BMW R90S and think it is a great tire. Good in wet and dry conditions. Will continue to use them.
