Dunlop D205's
I run these on my Kawasaki ZG-1000 Concours, and have been for years. Like all tires, they're a compromise between performance and longevity. I commute and tour, always seeking the twisties, and these are a good compromise for me. They stick when I lean on them, but I can squeeze at least 7-8k miles out them, sometimes more. If you really rip in the canyons, or spend a lot of time on the slab, they may not be for you. But if you tend to do a little of everything I think you'll be happy with them.

Dunlop - D205 Sport Touring Rear Tire
This was my second D-205, this is a great sport/touring tire. It performs well in rain as well as dragging the pegs in the turns. I use it on an '83 V-65 Magna. The price was excellent and shipping free. It arrived in only a few days after ordering. It came packaged in plastic wrap with a magazine too! Thanks!

Dunlop D205 Rear Tire
For my money the Dunlop D205 is the best choice for the Kawasaki Concours. This is my 3rd D205 rear tire. I ride a lot of 2 up and get about 10K miles per tire.

Best OEM replacement
I bought a 2003 Nighthawk with these tires on the bike. Documentation indicated that the OEM tires had been replaced at 8K miles. At 18K (5K were mine) there was a slight cupping on the front tire on the disc side. Tread was still good. The rear tire was wearing slightly flat in the center, so when I had picked up a nail in the rear tire and had to have it plugged, I decided to replace both tires with the same brand and size. I'm counting on these being pressure problems. I check my tire pressure before each ride and I'm not sure the previous owner did.

Dunlop D205; Great Tire, Great Value!
This is the same review as for the D205 front tire. These are just great tires. I run these tires 12000 miles a year, rain or shine and I have come to trust these tires to help me stay out of harms way. They are reliable and durable. On the rear tire I paid $70.00 less than my dealer charges me by buying at Motorcycle Superstore and I had them in about a week.

Dunlop 205 rear tire
ON a BMW K1100LT - Last over 12K miles and stick in wet or dry conditions. Provide a stable smooth ride loaded or empty. The replacement tire fails to provide the same mileage and there is no ME880 in the correct size for this bike - so I will use these until they are GONE then hope there is something out there close.

Great performance..and wear
I had to find another set before they were all gone! These tires outperform the standard Metzler MEZ4 that BMW R1150RT riders all seem to like. The D205's always out wear, and perform as well in corners, as the MEZ4's on friend's bikes. My friends also have 'cupping' problems with their front tires, but I do not with these tires. I wish Dunlop would re-think their decision to replace these with D220's, because I don't get any good revues on D220's on the BMW SportTouring web site.

This is a superior tire.
Since putting these on my Katana I have had no problems in dry or wet conditions. The stabilty in turns is incredible.
